GAZZUZZ:Thanks bro! ..but of course, I know a Mobil station is the place to go. The problem is that I have not seen any Mobil filling station since I got to Enugu! That was why I asked for help in the first place. So, if you know one or two Mobil stations in Enugu you can direct me to, that's all I need. |
GAZZUZZ:0W-40 |
rukyboy:Hello bro, Please where can I get Mobil 1 engine oil in Enugu? .. I'll be needing it in a couple of days. My location is around Park Lane. (Urgent pls) Thanks! |
vimi:I can't remember the exact number in Yola, and I can't tell exactly how many he has in total. But I know he has a massive firm producing bottled water & fruit juice of different types. He also has a firm producing confectionery, amongst other consumer goods. I used to know the name of those companies, sadly I can't remember now. They have branches across major northern cities. The good thing for him is that his products have a big market/ wide coverage. You'll find them in neighboring states like Taraba, Gombe, Bauch, Borno, even Plateau. I've seen his company's products as far as Mambilla Plateau. |
vimi:Do you know how many firms Atiku has in the North? Not only in Adamawa o! .. All these firms have employees nah. Haba!! And they are not small companies! The man dey try in his own little way |
vimi:Sorry Sir. As far as I am concerned, little acts of kindness and responsibility when they are least expected matter.. and I will always appreciate it. If you don't, that's your choice. Try find out from people who live in Yola about Atiku's personality. He's simple, approachable and always ready to offer assistance. I can tell you he has always been magnanimous. Not just today. I am not an aboki, but I also know this because apart from many stories i've heard about his kindness in Yola, I once accompanied my friend to one of his companies in Yola to ask for material and financial assistance in completing a project he embarked on during NYSC. I was surprised when the manager instantly told us that Atiku has always made provision for such assistance. We got all the assistance we needed, and my friend successfully completed the project. Nothing do you bro. You are entitled to your opinion. |
Anapuao:Thank you o. Help me tell am! That tall structure in the background really looks like an airport tower to him? ![]() That is Jimeta Market gate.. Village boy wey neva commot hin backyard before ![]() |
vimi:It's always catastrophic when you make assertions out of pure ignorance. Atiku hails from Adamawa State and he lives in Yola! I think it is just natural for a matured statesman to pay a visit to such a scene, especially when it happened in his immediate environment. It doesn't matter if he isn't the president, his empathy is what matters. |
akpumping7720:This will be the last time I will comment or reply anyone on this non-issue. Now, let me help you listen to yourself. These are facts: 1) Oduduwa is the grandfather of Oranmiyan, who later founded Oyo kingdom 2) Meanwhile, Oduduwa himself was the first monarch of Ile-Ife (And first to bear that title you disrespect- OONI). Oduduwa, your ancestor was the first OONI of Ife. Now, hear yourself: "OONI isn't among the seven children of Oduduwa"..... Oga mi, where you missed the point is that Oduduwa himself was OONI! Figure that in, and you'll see that you didn't make sense up there. The Throne cannot be equated to personalities. The throne of the OONI far supersedes that of the Alaafin. Is that too difficult for you to grasp? Oh sorry!... You actually meant Oduduwa, OONI of Ife and the grandfather of the first Alaafin, was one slave appointed to be in charge of the deities? So, who appointed Oduduwa OONI of Ife? .. Alaafin abi? Ride on, the wise one. The gods are wiser though ![]() |
mkoabiola:I don't believe it's rivalry, because there is clearly no rivalry. We all know the history of the yoruba race. I think it is more of misplaced pride/ ego from the Alaafin protagonists..and it borders on disrespect to their own origin and history. Yet we yorubas unanimously (including Oyo) call ourselves 'omo Oduduwa'.. That Oduduwa was the first Ooni of Ife, and the first Alaafin was Oduduwa's grandchild! Who is fooling who?.. Anyway, enough said. |
These days, people can hardly tell their left from their right. Can one blame them? Yet often, the empty barrels make most noise. See them agitating for recognition! ![]() That said, how could you compare Oònirìsà (literally: Ooni the Oracle) to 'Aláse èkeji òrìsà' (literally: Commander, next-in-command to the Oracle)? If you know that the full title of the Ooni of Ile-Ife is Oonirisa, you will then understand that he himself is the deity. Your Alaafin can only be second to him, as his title parlance implies. Realize that Ile-Ife is the source of the Yoruba race. Oduduwa's descendants left ile-Ife with crowns to go establish kingdoms and rule all over yorubaland. These kingdoms include those of the great Oba of Benin, Alaafin of Oyo, Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Alaketu of Ketu, Orangun of Ila, Onisabe of Sabe and Olupopo of Popo. It was from these initial kingdoms that all the Obas you know today sprang. Memory verse: Ile-Ife is supreme, and the stool of the Ooni is higher than any other in yoruba land. If you choose to respect the Alaafin or even Olubadan more than the Ooni, no problem. It's entirely your right to choose who to respect. But historically, the fact is what i've stated. Ego-massaging get us nowhere. Let's say the truth as it is..always! A yoruba proverb says "the Okro plant cannot be taller than than its planter/ harvester".. Alaafin's stool is the Okro, while Ooni's is the planter/ harvester ![]() Cheers! |
The beautiful ones are not yet in ![]() Where da hell is Trinxie? ![]() Saving all my votes for her Good luck to the contestants! |
GAZZUZZ:I am interested in the Mobil 1 (5w20). Where is it on sale? Bolded:On the contrary, I think you can wait until the oil life is spent out, then replace with 5w20 at next oil drain. The 20w50 you used is most likely mineral oil, while the Mobil 1 (5w20) is synthetic. Some people have reported increased incidence of engine gasket leaks, attributed to switching from mineral oil to synthetic and vice versa, but certainly none reported after just one episode of mineral oil use. Hope you enjoy your new ride. Cheers! |
Bisjosh:What is hilarious about it? ![]() What then is the need for the fake submission you showed (or will show) by kneeling for your hubby on your wedding day? |
Serves Aero right. Aero Contractors is used to this abject disregard for passenger rights. 1) Delays: I once departed Lagos for Abuja around 11:30pm on a flight originally scheduled to depart at 5:45pm. That was the first time I was air-borne by midnight. I just dey pray make I survive to tell the story. I arrived Abuja airport after midnight. Had to unduly stress my friend coming to pick me up. That was my last patronage at Aero. Arik and IRS have better aircrafts, cause less delays and don't sell refreshments to passengers. 2) Outright cancellation of flights/ unreliable schedule: There was a day I went, with my friend, to Abuja airport to drop of his wife who had booked a flight to Owerri, scheduled to depart at 4:15pm. It was completely beyond my comprehension to learn on arrival at the check-in desk by 3pm that the same flight had already departed at 2pm!!.. Aero did not communicate to my friend's wife of any change in flight plans (which I expected an organisation with common sense to do). I told the aero staff emphatically that this was their fault and they had to put my friend's wife on another flight to Owerri same day. They simply told me coldly that there was no more Owerri flight for that day AND that the flight fee is already forfeited. I was livid! .. After 'raking' for like 5 minutes, and everyone just kept doing their thing as if I were one mad man, I had to resolve with my friend to go book a fresh ticket at Arik's desk, which we did. Aero is plain useless and frustrating, and it's not their fault. These are areas the NCAA should look into to ensure strict punishment for airlines who treat passengers like trash. It is a punishable offence, but anything goes in my country ![]() It would be even better if they were sued to court and made to pay heavily for damages due to disrupted passenger schedule. Heeediots!! |

I have been to Mambilla plateau. The landscape is breathtaking, the climate extremely benevolent, the scenery so beautiful yet natural and the people are nice. The part most difficult to ever forget is driving (climbing the long, scary, winding ascent) up the mountains from Gashaka into Mambilla. An entire Local Goveenment sits on Mambilla Plateau- Sardauna L.G.A. ( Named after the late Sardauna of Sokoto), with its headquarters at Gembu. Other notable settlements on the plateau include Nguroje (where clouds drift in the midst of houses and humans in broad daylight) and Kakara (which houses the Softwood plantation, Tea plantation and Tea factory. Mountain Tea, commonly sold around Taraba and Adamawa axis is grown and processed in Mambilla) Fascinating features: - Very extensive, lush, green, mountainous grasslands...giving an impression of series of mountains covered with a lovely green rug - Cool climate all year round (much like the cold seasons in Europe, so much that you dare not bath with cold water in Mambilla except you want to freeze, for real!) - No mosquitoes in Mambilla (of course, the cold climate does not favour their growth) - when you talk or breathe heavily in Mambilla (especially in the mornings, but not exclusively so) you often see 'mist' coming from your mouth/ nostrils, exactly similar to what is noticed during winter in other climes. - Many natural waters springs - Many wild animals, especially monkeys roaming freely on the mountain sides - Extensive beautiful softwood plantation, with lumbering activities - Houses Super Eagles' high altitude training camp - Beautiful tea plantation and a tea factory - You can actually walk into Cameroon from Gembu ![]() **PS: The first of my previously posted pics actually shows the route leading up Obudu mountain resort. The route leading into Mambilla is far more precarious, elevated and potentially deadly. I'll upload soon as I can get. |
OP. Well done, but that list is in no way complete without the inclusion of Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State... "The Mambilla Plateau is a plateau in the Taraba State of Nigeria. The plateau is Nigeria's northern continuation of the Bamenda Highlands of Cameroon. The Mambilla Plateau has an average elevation of about 1,600 metres (5,249 ft) above sea level, making it the HIGHEST plateau in Nigeria. Some of its villages are situated on hills that must be at least 1,828 metres (5,997 ft) high above sea level. Some mountains on the plateau and around it are over 2,000 metres (6,562 ft) high, like the Chappal Waddi (more appropriate name: Gang) mountain which has an average height of about 2,419 metres (7,936 ft) above sea level. It is the highest mountain in Nigeria[3] and the highest mountain in West Africa if Cameroon's mountains, such as Mount Cameroon, are excluded. The plateau developed on basement complex rocks.Tertiary basalts also occur on the Mambilla plateau and are mostly formed by trachytic lavas and extensive basalts, occurring around Nguroje. The Mambilla Plateau measures about 96 km (60 mi) along its curved length; it is 40 km (25 mi) wide and is bounded by an escarpment that is about 900 m (2,953 ft) high in some places. The plateau covers an area of over 9,389 square kilometres (3,625 sq mi).Gang ('Chappal Waddi') Mountain is found at the northeastern flank of the Plateau." http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mambilla_Plateau

No matter how weird it sounds, the simplest way for Buruji to communicate his freedom to all Nigerians is to take a trip to the USA, taking pictures and video evidence of his trip. It makes a strong statement that he is indeed not a criminal ![]() Make Hin no 'bobo' us with this long, worthless epistle ![]() Hin just dey 9ja dey form explanation. Go visit USA before your inauguration if dem born you well. #EOD |
Miroslavklose:Chairman, I greet you. No matter how 'stupid' he sounds, it is because you wanted other people's opinion that you posted your experience with your car here. In other words, with all your seriousness, you couldn't seem to figure what the problem with your fuel consumption was. I personally do not like your responses to Mr Gazzuzz, especially the one quoted (even though not directly directed to GAZZUZZ, the context indirectly implied he is not serious). I have been regular on this thread for some years now. If that was the way people responded to each other on this thread, I am 1000000% sure I wouldn't have ever contributed. Not nice Sir. *Note: I feel like responding to your complaints, but not until we get this right. Cheers! |
ayofissy:No need to change to double cell. Don't mind your mechanic. So far: 1) your fans are working (controlled by thermostat, which is a function of engine temperature) 2) Your radiator's cooling fins are not clogged by mud or dirt (this is quite unlikely, as the A/C condenser acts as a shield for the radiator, taking in the bulk of the dirt..but it is a possibility) 3) There is no coolant leak You'll be fine. Just do as advised. It has happened to me before when I did a coolant drain and refill, and I sorted it out myself. No shaking. |
ayofissy:In addition to what Gazzuz has suggested, you mentioned something very important. You said "the coolant level in the radiator is okay but THE LEVEL OF COOLANT IN THE RESERVOIR GOES DOWN'. Since there is no leak in the circuit, this tells me that your radiator was (most likely) recently drained of coolant, but was not refilled with adequate coolant. That is why your engine temperature rises and the level of coolant in your reservoir goes down after a drive. If this were to be the case, you may also observe air bubbling in your coolant reservoir actively, whilst your car idles. My advice: Keep topping your reservoir with coolant to the 'maximum' line after every drive until there is no further drop in coolant level. At this point, your cooling system has taken/ sucked in sufficient coolant to keep it functioning optimally. You should not experience overheating anymore when you switch on your A/C. Note: Even without A/C, if you drive the car long enough, the engine will overheat IF what I am suspecting were to be the case. ii) pls, never open the radiator immediately after a drive. You must wait till the engine is cool. However, it is safe to open the reservoir after a drive. Reflect on this also and act appropriately Sir. Cheers! |
That is not enough excuse to have Shekau still prancing around. Afterall, the Nigerian military have boasted they utilize drones. Drones or trained Snipers can do the job, even if Shekau is surrounded by battalions of militants. If you wait long enough, he will move into a vulnerable position where you can take shots. Just aim for his knees or ankles and take your shots, then your ground troops swoop in immediately. That way, he can be captured alive (however injured). He would be stabilized when captured and tried for all his crimes. This thing no hard na. A whole Federal Military!! Why do I have this feeling someone is lying to us? |
Are these researchers saying I am from Ghana or Sudan? They could consider possible outliers in their conclusion. Weird research topic though. |
Implications of the Matic red card: 1) JM forced to use 3 central defenders (although Zouma paired with Ramires in DMF), as Mikel is injured. This makes the Chelsea team more defensive, to the headache of Tottenham, the English FA & the biased referees association. That's the reason for the dull first half performance from chelsea. The link btw defence and attack is missing (Matic). Expect more astute bus-parking in the second half, with Costa scoring on the counter. All the bad belle appears to be making Chelsea stronger. Viva Chelski!! |
DaZion: Tval:Thanks, good people. Viva Chelski!!! |
Is the match starting by 5pm or 1:45pm? Thought I saw 1:45pm of Chelsea FC website. Anyone with plausible info, kindly confirm. Thanks! |
GAZZUZZ:Bull's eye! |
mayo47:Ok. Considering that you said this happens ONLY when you refuel your car, it's hard to say. Possibly due to clogged injectors or early fuel pump failure (less likely). Observe to see if the engine loses power at certain points while in use (or shuts down completely) and how frequently this occurs. Cheers! |
OP Sir: In my humble opinion, there is an element of truth in what those ladies you dated observed. My evidence is simple but tells a lot about your tendencies, whether you agree or not (the eye does not see itself anyway). Evidence: You follow 38 people on Nairaland, and only about 10.5% of these are male. The remaining 89.5% are females. This already tells me your natural affinity. See, ladies are highly intuitive. Respect the observation of those who told you what you don't even realize about your own self and make ammends. May you then find a lasting relationship. Your past ladies are probably right afterall. Cheers! |
mayo47:Sir, I don't understand what you mean by the bolded. As for transmission fluid, Honda recommends ATF-DW1 for your Accord. You can buy ATF-DW1 on amazon/ ebay OR simply contact luvinghubby. He imports the ATF for sales. |
