U're welcome.

DEELOV: Hello peeps,i need your help...i drive a baby boy Honda 1999 model to be precise, in which i discover my engine was shorting oil,so i decide to change the engine completely after doing that, my mechanic discovered that my gear couldn't enter gear 3,the car jacked and stop once it's about entering the gear 3,he has been on it for almost 4 days now but couldn't solve d problem.please i need your advice please.the gear was doing that before i decided to change the engine.
Bro, few questions to make it easier to cone down on the real problem:

1. You sound as if your transmission is manual. Kindly clarify, is your gear manual or auto?

2. Did your replacement engine come with its own gearbox, or you bought the engine excluding its gearbox (and used your old gearbox instead)?

3. Did you check to ensure that the specs/series of your former engine tallies with the newly installed?

A witness described to ABC News what he saw when the plane was landing.

"The nose of the plane was higher than usual for a plane coming in to land and I thought that was odd," Stephen Dear said. "It got closer and closer. I saw the back tail hit the ground."

Dear said the plane then "caught fire immediately."

Asiana Airlines Crash Kills Two in San Francisco
Dominic Garcia, who also witnessed the crash, told ABC News that when the plane hit the runway, he saw what appeared to be "a huge mushroom cloud."

"Within 15 seconds it was just black smoke," he said. "It looked like an explosion."

The Boeing 777 is one of the safest airplanes in use, ABC News aviation analyst John Nance said.

"These airplanes are over the water, over the ocean all the time and Asiana has been running them for many years very successfully," Nance said.

Boeing issued a statement to ABCNews.com on the news of the crash.

"Boeing extends its concern for the safety of those on board Asiana Airlines Flight 214," the company said. "Boeing is preparing to provide technical assistance to the National Transportation Safety Board as it investigates the accident."

The last Boeing 777 to crash was a British Airways jet en route from Beijing to London's Heathrow airport, which crash landed short of the runway in January 2008. There were no fatalities, but 47 people on board sustained injuries.

The plane was powered by Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines, according to a statement from the company's spokeswoman Pratt & Whitney.

Pratt & Whitney said it was cooperating with authorities, but declined to comment further.
1. We can as well argue that Dana airline is not a Nigerian airliner.

2. Dana airline was piloted by an AMERICAN pilot.

3.US got her independence 237 years ago, while Nigeria is barely 50 years.

I thought I should help you out. Stop comparing US with Nigeria.
Bros, u've got no point. South Africa became a republic in 1961, Nigeria in 1963. Oya, compare the two nations nah. huh
Concerning your basis for concluding that DANA is an AMERICAN airline, one can only deduce that the reason nigeria has remained behind most of her counterparts that gained independence around 1960 is because most nigerians act before thinking (like you did in your post). And so have our leaders been sad
And nigerians, in their ignorance 'n misplaced pride, are typically predictable.
e.g. I know when you read this, you will want to justify your misyarn, instead of acknowledging you goofed, learning from it and moving on. smiley

We'll see what we can do about the links.
However, if you have an urgent need to consult the owner's manual in the time being, I'll suggest you check a friend's hard copy (i.e, if you have a friend using 2003, 2004 or 2005 accord).
My accord came with a series of instruction booklets, and it seems the 2003, 2004 and 2005 accord editions have the same information booklets. So, anyone you can lay your hands on should be ok. Cheers!

keni: I need help with my honda halla please, anytime I engage the gear in drive, the car vibrates but the vibration stops as soon as I shift to neutral, please how do i stop this?
1. Check your engine mounts one-by-one. They are four in number. If one or more is worn out, it can cause vibrations when gear is in drive.

2. Check your engine revolution/min (commonly referred to as 'slow'). If it is too low, it may cause vibration when you engage your gear in 'D'. However, this should also cause vibration in 'neutral'. Just check for all it's worth.

omonnakoda: There is one unfortunate thing about debate in Nigeria w eoften personalize it.It is a contest to establish superiority, unfortunately. I really am not sure what my alleged offence is. I mentioned earlier that I am a doctor and many here say I am lying. With all respect to my teachers and mentors there is nothing to boast about being a doctor. It is a position of service which should be approached with humility,a rare commodity in modern Nigeria. Becoming a doctor is NOT WORTH BOASTING ABOUT. Really. In fact it is embarrassing when you have no money compared to others less gifted academically!!
There is a common myth that doctors are scientists, they are not !they are technicians(a debate for another thread) .A paramedic is another technician common in western countries ,when I was in Nigeria there was no such thing.Basically they are themain crew of ambulances and have skills like ;intubation, basic and advanced life support and general emergency care. They saved the life of Fabrice Muamba initially and then doctors took over. Everyone is important. Nigerians and Nigerian doctors have serious ego problems ,the need to dominate and lord it over everyone we see it with Jonathan Amaechi and the Nigerian doctor is worse. I have seen resident doctors with grey hair running to open the door for Oga consultant , bow and take his bag off him.He has failed several attempts at part 2 because Oga is annoyed with him etc etc that is the Nigerian psyche. Bitter ,bullying and bombastic with no progressive outlook sadly they have created many neophytes ,HERE, in their own image..............
There is nothing to write home about of the Nigerian doctor in Nigeria,Nothing!!
Old one, if I may ask, what is your area of specialty in Medicine?

Also what is the present position you hold (what do you do?)

Think we should begin by addressing these. At least, to prove the 'cynics' wrong smiley

@'on a good day':

Your second link is essentially the same as the first.

Third link ain't got no content.

Last link talks about the national health bill, where everyone is demanding for health reforms, pharmacists, lab scientists, nurses and all inclusive. It'll be nice to have the necessary ammendment made and the bill signed by the executive for the better of all.
Again, I there was no point where I read that certain doctors antagonised improved TRAINING of other health professionals.

Therefore, let FG make the necessary provisions for training world class specialists in our obodo 9ja smiley

It is possible, cos if India, a developing country like Nigeria is making sense in that regard, then, with our vast human and material resources, all that remains is a government willing to achieve these things.

To your first link:
https://m.facebook.com/NURSINGNIGERIA/posts/251204728335575

I've gone through it, and it seems to me you still don't get the point.
From that link, I did not see any request for improved quality of healthcare, whether in terms of request for more human resources or equipment to better position the nurses, pharmacists or what have you in the efficient discharge of their duties.
What I saw is an agitation for double promotion (skipping a level or sth) etc.

This is in no way similar to what NARD is asking for. Increased funding of residency training means making the nigerian teaching hospitals perfectly conducive for the standard training of doctors and better patient care. That is, telling FG to give the teaching hospitals the facilities they lack.

We complain that politicians and wealthy nigerians travel abroad for the slightest treatment. I think it's because they know nigerian teaching hospitals lag behind in terms of diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. Likewise, many doctors, nurses, pharmacists etc leave the shores of this country to practice in a 'saner' environment in the developed world. Do you think they just wanted to leave for no reason? A major reason why many do so is in order to have better job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is not just a function of how much you earn, but the ability to do your job efficiently and get results within the shortest possible time. I tell you, the nigerian system can be very frustrating.

Again, I think the NARD is on the right path. If they wanted increased wages, they will say like they have done in the past. This is not a request for more wages but a request for sanity.

Thanks. I'll be right back with comments on your other links. smiley
my problem with doctors is that they very greedy and insensitive...now they want pple to supprport them for better training, despite the ones they have already,
Lol.. You still don't get it. It's a two-way advantage:

The doctor receives standard training, the patient receives standard care.

Remember the world of medicine is not that static. New discoveries are made everyday. The way malaria was treated in 1990 is not the same today.

I don't think it's greed when you ask for things to be done the right way smiley

Cheers.

HealthRe: Resident Doctors Begin Nationwide Strike Action Today by nas00(op): 4:14pm On Jun 26, 2013
Here is someone's online reaction to the NARD strike:

"There are many departments of government where funding is inadequate.
Why should the doctors take exception? Police, sports, the ministries and
parastatals are all underfunded. The doctors are arrogant and insensitive. Moreover doctors should be banned by legislation from going on strike. When they
resume their strike will they resurrect those who might have died because of
their action?"

Well, I'd say that is a layman's viewpoint. Cos if we consider this issue critically, the doctors are not only struggling for themselves, but for the average common man.
For instance, many teaching hospitals are without basic equipment needed to train residents (and manage patients). You see situations when patients have to travel from Port-Harcourt to LUTH just to have an MRI done, or patients asked to take a blood sample from UCH to pathcare (an NGO) in lagos, simply due to lack of hospital facility to provide these services.

If a UCH patient dies before the result of his blood test returns from lagos, who will resurrect him? OR if the patient traveling from PH to Lagos dies on the way (either due to illness or accident), who will resurrect him/ her?

Are these deaths any doctor's fault?

In my opinion, these are the things NARD is asking for. Better funding of the training programme will translate to:
1. More facility 'n equipment for training in teaching hospitals. Particularly machines used to further investigate patients' condition, which guuides the doctor in better treating the patients.

2. More hands, which will significantly reduce the number of hours patients spend on clinic visits, waiting to see the doctor.

These, I believe, are the things NARD is asking the FG for, which is very much in order.

Who buys my ideas?
HealthResident Doctors Begin Nationwide Strike Action Today by nas00(op): 3:43pm On Jun 26, 2013
The National Association of Resident Doctors has ordered its members nationwide to embark on a three-day warning strike from Wednesday.

NARD said Wednesday's strike was to protest against the poor funding of the residency training of its members by the Federal Government.

Already, the 21-day ultimatum given to the Federal Government by NARD expired on June 18, 2013.

NARD National President, Dr. Ismail Lawal, had about two weeks ago during a news conference at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu warned that the resident doctors across the country might embark on strike any moment after the 21-day ultimatum expired.

Lawal, who had expressed dismay at the inadequate funding of the residency training programme in the 2013 budget, had also said the union had given enough opportunity to the government to address the lapses.

But the NARD national president on Monday in Abeokuta, in a communique issued at the end of the association's National Executive Council meeting, directed all its members across the country to commence the warning strike as a form of protest against government attitude.

It said, "NARD has directed her members to embark on a three-day warning strike commencing from Wednessday June 26, 2013 to show our dissatisfaction at the unbecoming attitude of the Federal Government to the issue of residency training funding and the failure to yield to our demand for the supplementary budget for the training."

God bless u sir for yr informattive reply.

Will have the selector checked n will buy new NGK plugs soonest.

P.s(where is the gear switch located in the engine pls, so that i can have some info b4 engaging the mechanic on it??).
Bro, the switch is attached to the lower (and inner) aspect of the gearbox. To identify ur gearbox, trace the gear oil dipstick (close to the car battery) downwards.

lacasa: No suggestions from our honda gurushuh
I believe your gear (selector) switch/ sensor is the likely culprit. Replace it, and your drive will be back to normal.

However, since you said the idle is low, you may need to change your spark plugs and watch the response before considering replacing the throttle head.
If it's due to ur throttle head, it means fuel supply to the combustion chamber is far lower than throttle/ pedal pressure dictates).

Cheers!

It's most likely your brake disc, especially if your steering vibrates or you feel some throbbing of the pedal while you step on the brake . Replacing your brake pads AND brake discs should solve the problem.
Replacing ONLY your brake pads may not solve it.

Now that oga Sanusi's coded runz has been exposed, it's only proper that he faces the full wrath of the law for abuse of public office.

Enya's songs are deep and inspirational. Listen to the lyrics before you condemn her songs as demonic. That's my advice to the apprehensive.

I'd recommend the following enya songs/ soundtracks:

1. The memory of trees

6. On your shore
7. Evening falls
8. Stars and Midnight blue
9. How can I keep from singing
10. I want tomorrow
11. Hope has a place
12. The Celts

Believe you me, these are all like a drop in the ocean. Enya is gifted 'n her music is cool smiley
I am proudly an enya fan.
