As a chelsea fan, I like this because it helps put the necessary pressure on Mancity to do everything possible to beat Manure on saturday if they are to have a CL spot. If Manure drops 3 points on saturday, chelsea can afford to loose to SPURS and liverpool and still win the league provided we win the 2 home matches against wigan and stoke. UP BLUESSSSS |
Ok you have taken your campaign role for IBB to another level. please try harder, you have not even scratched the surface yet. kosovo: Jonathan did not achieve anything when his was a deputy Governor, a Governor, vice- President, Acting - President, why do people still think he can perform magic if he is given the chance as a substantial president? i thought charity begins at home . . . there are alot more issues, but i think we are already aware of them, but simply ignored it, because that's what we do best . . . 'Hypocrisy' . . .So his acting presidency is now past tense? You no sabi anything. |
Not really sure, but he looks promising. |
Jarus:Our children will some day look at what we now call politics and most likely pass the same remark. However I strongly believe those politicians set the tone for whatever we are seeing today. Cases like the violence that that erupted in ONDO during the AJASIN vS Omoboriowo tussle and the unprecedented rigging that saw OLUNLOYO defeat Bola Ige in OYO are scenes that have not been repeated in our political theatre. |
hmmmmmmmmm. |
@kosovo After 1993 IBB must have taken high-level courses on economic development and politics from the best schools in the world, because if he could not achieve all of what you are saying in his first eight years(1985-1993) what has changed about him? abi na home service lecturers come give am for him Minna mansion? |
abrazonic:I tire o. Infact when I saw the header I thought Tinubu had taken his doomed scheme to another level. |
We dey wait una. NO WAHALA. Exactly the same nonsense ADISA was saying as IBB campaign manager towards 2007 elections, before he became a victim of the roads he refused to repair while he was works minister. |
On that list number 6 and 9 are the same. If you are really serious about your support for IBB and see this as a way of polishing his image, why did you not state the time and occasion where he said these things? That will make the task of showing the entire globe how hypocritical you and IBB are extremely easy. I can prove to you that all these glitzy statements where made at a time when the entire nation was suffering unprecedented hardship. Talk is cheap. You however forgot the most important quote from him when he said he had tried all he knew on the nigerian economy but all to no avail and how surprised he was that the economy had refused to collapse. Abeg add that quote , then we can talk. |
dinachi:Chei see logic. ![]() I came tops in a maths course in the university. How? After cancelling out my entire work on the first three sets of answer sheets, I finally got a fourth one , answered all the questions correctly, but refused to submit the answer sheet at the end of the exam. I took it home. Am I not better than the students that did not answer all questions correctly but remebered to submit their answer booklets? You see your logic? |
nateevs:Korni man. I agree with you sha, SPURS gragra go too much for final. |
I am not comfortable with the defence team at all. As someone rightly said Aganga will be able to curb SLS's youthful excesses. |
siddon look na dog name. |
We have had maximum points against other members of the big four this season and conceeded just one "hand" goal Arsenal (3-0,2-0) liverfool(2-0) MAnure (1-0,2-1) The BLUESSSSSSSSSS deserve more respect. I am beginning to think Carlo only slipped against Inter expecially in the second leg. Do I have a witness that a coach like this that can win big matches might just be what we need to win the UCL? |
Since returning from the visit, the Imams have told different versions of their visit to Yar’Adua with glee, but a new dimension is brewing as Islamic faithfuls across the North are accusing the Imams of receiving bribes to orchestrate a lie, which is antithetical to the Islamic faith. For example the earlier story told by Daily Trust newspapers claimed that the Imams spent over two hours with Yar’Adua, but in interviews with the BBC they said they spent less than five minutes with him and that he had difficulties speakinghmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Em . . . em . . . . Ok I comment my reserve. ![]() |
I am a true BLUE. Want chelsea to win,but we should not forget that Fergie is a veteran. |
So seeing the chief Imam and associates is more important than seeing his deputy who is steering the ship of the nation albeit in the interim? Again why must it be that the announcement was made by the chief Imam in a mosque. Shows irresponsibility/insensitivity. They should be held responsible if there is any religious uprising in some northern states. |
^^^^^^^^^^^ I think you missed my point. I do not want to be drawn into this argument again. there is about nothing new to say. we have thrashed this before. |
chosen04: Fairest and freest as used in that statement means according to elections conducted by IWU.(The best of IWU's elections)Ok agreed he was comparing the Anambra elections with other elections conducted by IWU. So if the freest and fairest of IWU's elections still does not pass the credibility test(you said nobody said the election was credible), then on what ground is Ojukwu calling for his retention? Secondly did Ojukwu actually say this : We saw, we witnessed and were able to be part of an election that was open, transparent, cool and which has been and is still being applauded not just by Ndigbo but the entire worldWhat does this mean? If does not mean wholesale endosement by Ojukwu that the election was credible? Surely my last comment on this issue. Enjoy. |
@Onlytruth You made some good points. |
^^^^^^^^^ You have again taken this to the age-long arena of justifying or invalidating the reasons for Boro's action. We have dealt extensively on this severally. I will not be involved this time. My post however was to correct the impression you tried making by saying Boro was only fighting against Nigeria, and that he was kool with the actions(inactions) of the regional govt. Boro was pissed with both the regional and central govt. simple and short. questions touching on the wisdom of his actions, which you are delving into will remain a recuring topic for debates. |
Dede1:Eh bros, you are not wholly correct here. See Adako Boro's statement when the revolution started and tell me how(at least in Boro's eyes), the regional govt was not culpable too. “most of the youths were so frustrated with the general neglect that they were ready for any action led by an outstanding leader to gain liberty…. we were clenched in tyrannical chains and led through a dark alley of perpetual political and social deprivation. Strangers in our own country! Inevitably, therefore, the day would have to come for us to fight for our long-denied right to self-determination”. He complained at the economic and material neglect of the Niger Delta: |
chosen04:People and I.T.K hmmmmmm i tire. Ojukwu said an election was the freest and fairest and you are busy telling me here that nobody said it was a credible election. You went on to talk about comprehension we did at school. How a free and fair election is not credible is what i wasnt taught .sorry about that. see ojukwu's statement again "We saw, we witnessed and were able to be part of an election that was open, transparent, cool and which has been and is still being applauded not just by Ndigbo but the entire world. My grouse in all of these is that while a lot of us hate PDP, it is fallacious to always proclaim an election free and fair provided PDP looses. Does Ngige see the elections as fair? dont we have complaints from other candidates? should we just wish them away becuase the winner is not from PDP? I no fit shout. |
Arsenal and Barca play almost same style. The difference is that while Barca is on grade level 7 , arsenal at best is on grade level 3. Really its football and Arsenal has fighting chance like many have said, this is boosted by the fact that Barca will have to play 2 make-shift central defenders as PUYOL and PIQUE are not eligible. But, 1. How can arsenal survive the heat of Barca's attack for the first 45 mins at camp nou? 2.If Barca dominated at Emirate with an off-form Messi, what happens if his normal form returns at camp nou? 3.Will Alumuna be as good as he was last nite when he gets to Camp nou? 4. How will the arsenal team respond without there motivational capt CESC? |
chosen04:QUESTION: was the Anambra elections which is the point of reference here credible? and how? |
sincerely I have been thinking about this too. I will advice him not to. Infact it will be too risky, besides who will be acting CIC when he is away? |
Ben190: man utd fans how marketNna no response from daim yet o. E be like say markait bad e o. |
referee se ojoro Olorun o fe, lailai lala lailai lala. Na so we dey sing am for pry school. If not for the refs intended fraud maybe the second goal would not have come. It was a clear freekick for bayern at the edge of the box, the ref overlooked when he was not playing advantage, allowing the four Manure defenders to be romancing the ball until . . . . . . . Gbam angel Olic appeared and did justice. I dey pray for rooney make the injury no pass six weeks. I mean am abi u dey suspect my prayer? ![]() |
safariman:For starters why not tell us ? Tell us what she did wrong and the good things she ommited. Please compare this record to that of past INFO ministers, then we can start talking. |
KnowAll:You call yourself knowall, but the things wey you no know plenty no be small. So you guys still cant see the big hole in the argument that every good person must resign before trying to make a point in a bad govt? So if she resigned who in the FEC would have made the move to hasten the Senators? no be only "throw towel" you for tell am to "catch towel" too. Abeg make una forget story. I hear some say she is an attention seeker. That one no concern me, the thing be say she seek attention for something wey move the country forward. Whats wrong in achieving personal and National goals in one thrust. ABEG MAKE UNA LEAVE DIS WOMAN ALONE. |
How do you expect me to understand this your question without MAPS? Abeg show me the map. |
