I don't know why Nairalanders are so gullible and hardly give their brains a lil work.No offence pls.U all fell for a masterly framed up letter.Who sent d letter and thru which email acct or is it an annonymous letter? SMH. On what basis shuld d letter be annonymous? Lmao@post,D'banj shuld locate his don jazzy. Wonders shall never end! |
musKeeto: i commot cap for tinkybabes.. i knew there had to be a third option, just couldn't figure it out.. great question naturalwaves.. expecting more..Okay.No P.Will upload more subsequently. |
Valiantvaliant: Oouch, don't blame me abeg. Nepa refused to give us light and i didn't have charge. So sorry about that. |
Valiantvaliant: LOLS. Make i sleep now. Me go crack brain tommorrowTinkybabe has gotten it! ![]() |
Tinkybabe: After much pondering,I came up with thisBravo! U got it cos with ur method, one would definately be able to tell.Thumbs up. Keep it up! Another straightforward method is to switch on say switch 1 for some time and then switch it off.Switch on switch 2 and go straight into d room. When U get to d room,if d bulb is on,then switch 2 is d ans.If d bulb is off and warm, switch 1 is d answer and if d bulb is off and cold, switch 3 is d answer. |
Tinkybabe: After much pondering,I came up with thisHmmmmmmm.Let's give valiantvaliant some time say till 9am to come up with something. |
dlex21: @tinkybabe...from U̶̲̥̅̊я calculation...¶ J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊ƨ̣̣̣̇̇̇̇τ̣̣̥ knew U̶̲̥̅̊ were a maths teacher...niceHere is another method.Try and follow it.It is very useful if U don't want to solve a quadratic equation . Here we go ;Since we are dealing with digits,d highest any of d nos could be is 9. Now,statement 1 said,d 1st digit is d square of d 2nd digit. This means that there can only be two options for d 1st digit. It is either 9 or 4 cos they are d only 2 nos with sq roots within that frame. Logically,if 1st =9,2nd will be 3 but if d 1st is 4,d 2nd digit will be 2. We move to statement 2,sum of 2nd and 3rd=10. If our first is 9,then we will have 9,3,7. Cos 3+7=10 but if it is 4,we will have. 4,2,8 cos 2+8=10. Third statement states that d 4th term is 2nd digit + 1.So,we either have 9,3,7,4. Or 4,2,8,3. Next statement says sum of 5th and 3rd is 14. So,we either have 9,3,7,4,7 or 4,2,8,3,6 as both sequences satisfies d conditions so far. The last statement says, the sum of all d terms is 30,so let's check starting with d 2nd sequence; 4+2+8+3+6= 23 BUT 9+3+7+4+7= 30. This therefore leaves us 9,3,7,4,7 as d correct sequence. NB: Aside 9 and 4,1 may also start d sequence but it won't give u d answer as well cos u will get 1,1,9,2,5 which only adds up to 18 and not 30. For the bulb question, U can't trace the wires,U can only do whatever u like with d switches before going into d room.U may observe d bulb on getting into d room. |
Valiantvaliant: if at the end it turns out to be a trick eh, hmmm let me just try itIt is not a trick. It is a simple maths teaser.I posted a brain teaser on the RIDDLES RIDDLES RIDDLES section too and tinkybaby has been unable to answer it,u may want to try it too,it is on the last page of that thread. |
Simple thing! John is Peter's son. |
Tinkybabe: ^^ I like the challenge.Does it have to be just 1 symbol?like + all throughYes....U must use only one symbol. |
Tinkybabe: Well by dividing your chosen no by itself ,you've eliminated the chosen no .so in essence ,ALL you're saying@Tinkybaby and Valiantvaliant, since U both av turned it into maths teaser, here is my own. Ow can U combine four (8s) and 1 i.e 8 8 8 8 1 to give u 100 using only one maths symbol? |
Well,I got an Isopod in Djibouti eating a Dewberry. |
Tinkybabe: Well,I thot it's a riddle and most riddles have their answers in the question soThis one is more of a brain teaser,it requires a lil bit of thinking before u can decipher it and d ans is not within d question....u just need to find a way to tell/determine d correct bulb if u were in dat situation. *CLUE....wen u get into d room,u can observe d bulb. |
Tinkybabe: What's that supposed to meanLol.I knew U were goint to say that(what's that supppsed to mean). It is just that it is nice to find a lady with something to offer on a social platform like this wen compared to a bulk of others.Very impressive.I like maths too and even av 2 new laws that's never been existing.Maybe we could share and solve some real tough questions someday....keep on trying d riddle.just try. |
musKeeto: this one hard o.. i hope its not a trick question... eg from outside the room, wont u be able to tell what switch controls the bulb without going into the room?U can do whatever u like with d switches outside d room,u can put them anyhow u want, after that,u will go inside.on getting inside,u can observe d bulb or do anything of ur choice.ow will u tell which switch works for d bulb if u are asked? |
Tinkybabe: Switch one is connected to the light bulbIt could be anyone of them.I just want u to tell me ow u can determine which one. |
Tinkybabe: ok o..workingThe question is easy to solve without even carrying a pen but ur calculation is quite impressive for a lady.Keep it up! |
Rchd. Card.If U get it in not more than 3hrs from now. |
Tinkybabe: gerraway jor iono thenU get it correctly,u get a card.so ,try. |
Chuck D: @naturalwaves: mehn... why are you living such a meaningless life? seems your time on earth has expired cause you're acting like you have a terminal illness. I suggest you spend the remainder of your sodden existence in silence. He who knows not and thinks he knows what he knows not is a fool.Swallow ur pride and accept corrections. If there is anyone living a meaningless life,it has to be U with ur senseless hypothesis. If U av any contradictions, face d subject not me.Well, not suprised cos it is a common attitude of NLs to result into abuses whenever their written jargons is being corrected.Eeeeeddiiiiooooot! |
Tinkybabe: Switch all 3 onLol,wen u get to d room and then sees the bulb on,ow will u be able to say wich of d 3 switches switched on d bulb? Try again. |
Here is another one; Outside a room there are three light switches. Only one of the 3 switches is connected to a light bulb inside the room. Each of the three switches can be either 'ON' or 'OFF'. You are allowed to set each switch the way you want it and then enter the room(note: you can enter the room only once) Your task is to then determine which switch controls the bulb ?? |
musKeeto: She weighs sugar.. that was easy :-)Okay.Correct!...Paste ur own riddles too. |
Who can solve this new one; A woman who works in a sugar shop has a measurement of 32-26-36.She is 5'4 tall and wears size 6 shoes only. What do U think she weighs? |
Chuck D: Now could this be true? I sincerely hope it isn't. But let's assume for a moment that this story could be true since there any rumour in Nigeria ultimately turns out true. Kanye trying to reconcile Don Jazzy and D'Banj?Reading just few lines of the report said it all, beer parlour rumour.Dbanj would never beg Kanye to reconcile them.Something friends, families could not do in Naija,so,it is a stranger that will do that? Chuck D: Well, this would be my hypothesis:Even though U only made ur hypothesis, which could be proved wrong,I must say that ur hypothesis is d most ridiculous, partial and faulty one I've set my eyes on in recent times.I will like to correct d blunders in ur hypothesis. Chuck D: Kanye saw D'Banj as a fresh fish from Nigeria and made his move. gullible d'bang (feeling like a star) took the bait hook, line and sinker - now he's the biggest boy and no other compares. His eyes, he's too good he doesn't need anyone anymore..D'banj and Don Jazzy made d move for Kanye.Kanye signed D'banj and Don Jazzy, both of them put pen into papers.U can search for d vid on youtube and watch for confirmation.Don Jazzy changed his mind lateron,D'banj didn't .Do u xpect Dbanj to say deal is over cos don J isn't interested anymore? He is not a kid that can be tossed up and down d place and knows what he wants. He is a man of his words. This corrects d trash U talked up there about Dbanj feeling too big. Chuck D: ok nau... off he goes to Yankee where they can't even cook a proper beat for his style (which he didn't create alone - a mixture of high-life, afrobeat & contemporary naija) and so he cannot make hits like he did with MoHits. Pressures start to mount and he's going down..Ow do U know they've not been able to cook a proper beat for him?Hasty conclusion! SMH. Common sense should be able to tell U that,D'banj was not signed as an independent artiste into GOOD music and as such, seperate beats cannot be cooked for him,d only thing that can happen is for Dbanj to fuse his style into whatever song they would be singing together. Moreover,Y do u think Dbanj floated his own record label? Ow do U xpect him to break into d US market if he sings independently under G.O.O.D? U didn't ask all these vital questions b4 diving into ur hypothesis. My friend,THINK.I don't think U need to be told like a baby that d said deal is basically for collaboration. Chuck D: Finally it begins to dawn on "BAD MUSIC" crew that this fresh fish is indeed no longer in water but kerosene and the only dude who can make this kite fly is the neglected one that's counted his losses and trying to rearrange his life and career. but it's hard. d'bang messed Don Jazzy up big time. He left thinking he's a jet while forgetting Don was and has always been his fuel.Dbanj never messed Don Jazzy up.Their split was a mutual one.Don J was ok with being a local champ,Dbanj wasn't and wanted to xplore new horizons by taking his music to d next level.Any crime in that? He(Dbanj) is like a moving train that cannot be stopped, lil successes to get into his head. Chuck D: don't you guys feel that high-life tinge that Don Jazzy puts in D'Banj's songs? Haba! it's only when the Don sings that I feel their tracks o.D fact that they make a good pair is not enough reason to stop aspiring and trying new things. Chuck D: So now good music may dump Dbanj if he doesn't deliver and the guy is in a tight corner. his new boss is insisting he eats his own vomit by reconciling with the Don and that's why Don Jazzy wants to be paid to appear in a video because "hey na business o, brother era don finish"..The fact that Dbanj is yet to come up with something with Kanye does not mean he is not performing or he's going to be a flop.Few months is too early to judge. Moreover,U are not with them and U do not know what their schedule is like.Even wen Dbanj was with don j,is it after every few months that they come up with a new track? SMH Chuck D: Pride goes before a fall. clap for yourself O dbanjIf U match Dbanj's level of success with his behaviour,U will see that he is one of d most humble musical artistes in Nigeria.U will call him 'proud' only if U hate him for no reason as there is no evidence whatsoever to justify that claim. Chuck D: to the reader: this is just a hypothesis o.k.It better be.I think this is even worse than 'hypothesis'I just wonder d kind of theories U would come up with if U had d chance.
Finally,D'banj is naturally a restless guy which is even obvious from d way he performs on stage. He likes taking on new challenges. He is tired of being a local champ.Mind U,money is no longer d motivation for him,HE WANTS TO CONQUER NEW GROUNDS. The fact that he is even still trying to balance things both internationally and locally needs encouragement and not all these discouragements. Even if Dbanj fails in his sojourn,he has nothing to lose and nothing to prove. He has proved himself several times in d past. Moreover,it is better to try than not to try atall. In case U don't know,D'banj is very close to winning a grammy award.A nice collabor with Kanye could give him that.By that time, all U haters of Dbanj will swallow ur words.Mark my words, mark this thread. No mata ow hard one works or tries, pple will still say trash.Afterall, some persons don't still agree/believe that MOU is a good coach. So,I'm not suprised. |

The ex-couple married 4 June 2009 in Lagos and have a son together. chinedum20: She wrote on her facebook page Tuesday July 5, 2011Ok When I am down, I look for someone to show love n care to, someone I probably would never see again. I dont know how I survived d last 7months people. Through my pain, the abuse, tears, the betrayal, I thank all those I have been of help to, in heeding ur calls, my broken heart is mending. musKeeto: N.... Widow and Donor... :-PYeah,that is correct. The ans is letter 'N' When U remove it from window,u get widow and wen u put it in door,u get donor. |
musKeeto: You wan blow person head?Lol...so. No one can answer my riddle? Na wa o |
naturalwaves: If U throw me out of the window,I will leave behind a grieving woman.Bring me back into d door and I can save a life. What am I?Someone should answer this.Who is smart enough to answer this? |
google1: pls answer this?Survivors don't need to be buried. |
If U throw me out of the window,I will leave behind a grieving woman.Bring me back into d door and I can save a life. What am I? |
In retrospect, I will not judge her if she was a teenage mother.. Most teenage mothers are victims of child molestation/r'ape.
I disagree but I don't want to derail from d thread. The most important thing is to learn from a previous mistake which I'm sure she would have. |
