Let me check. Be right back!

This excerpt was taken from the same writeup of that news.

“I understand that I am not an economist; they (Federal Government) are the economists. But I have some logic and common sense to ask critical questions.

“For instance, if one buy flour at N10 per kilogram, and the bread was sold at N1 per loaf. If the price of flour drops, the price of the bread should also change,” Fashola added.

- See more at: http://www.elombah.com/index.php/reports/7242-oil-slump-bring-down-fuel-price-immediately-fashola-to-fg-archive#sthash.8cgewX9N.dpuf

...Based on the excerpt, we can say Fashola did not rule out the possibility of errors being in his thoughts. His expression was a mixture of assumption (not being an expert), query and some little harmless politics. If you finish reading the right up, you would see that it was reported that he URGED the FG to...................... That is more or less a constructive criticism and not an outright assertion.

Is that how it works in the UK, Canada, USA etc where our fellow citizens are praying & fasting to go and be UNDER-employed?
When crude oil prices go up, the price of PMS goes down?
Obviously Barawo Raji FashOle, BRF does not know that hence he was lambasting the past federal administration to reduce the fuel price since crude oil price had gone down, abi huh

www.nairaland.com/attachments/3608065_image_jpeg_jpeg6f95b5e7a24ad4fc0808d6698fd37362
If there is a very high demand for crude oil world wide, the price will rise so high and we will make enough profits hoping that we will not buy the refined form in that way. The prices would have varied directly but unfortunately, we are not in the position to determine the price particularly when USA stopped buying our crude but we need the refined version. If I have a raw material for example, and you have a factory where you majourly use my raw material for a finished good. I sell my raw material to you at a reasonable price and then when you brought your finished goods, you made it so high. I can easily decide that since that is the game you want to play, whenever you come for my raw material, I will so much hike the price too and the game continues because we are both market determiners. Now, if you now decide to boycot my raw material and go for it somewhere else, I will be helpless when you bring the much needed finished goods as you now have a very big advantage ......That is the story of the Nigerian crude.
Moreover, if he says pms should be sold lower, it does not necessarily imply that it should be sold lower because the prices of crude oil has gone down.If I say, at 40 dollars per barrel, pms should sell at 100 naira per litre for example, this does not mean that I meant it should be sold at that price because the crude oil price crashed. It is a view. Can you provide a link where he said it should be sold at a lower price BECAUSE CRUDE OIL PRICE CRASHED? If you can do this then you win.Waiting.....

It was because of his LOOSE talk that he was given the PROMOTION of super minister at the federal level, not so huh
BTW, he is no longer in charge of Lagos he is now in charge of the whole country so he should EXTRAPOLATE the magic he had then to the whole country.
See, simple as ABC.
Anyway, we know Barawo Raji FashOle, BRF is just a smart rogue who will deny anyone & anything to keep on LOOTING our treasury. It does not matter whether it is power, fuel price or housing.

I wanted to engage you initially till I saw the second picture you posted. So, you do not know that the price of crude oil varies inversely as the price of PMS. The higher our crude oil is being sold, the lower the price of pms. If we make so much profit from selling crude oil at a high price, pms will be cheaper and not the other way round.

Boss13:
I know it will come to this. Check my timelines. I have been consistent with my predictions about Fashola. He was a mouth making governor who pays the media to sing his praises. He never achieved much in Lagos. He was praised for futuristic and abandoned projects.
.
Don't say what you do not know. He achieved so much in lagos except if you were blind or being stewpud is just an hobby to you.
Boss13:
Thank God Nigerians are now seeing him for who he is - a liar and a fraudster.
If you cannot provide evidences to back up this claim, just keep quiet.

Boss13:
Now I wonder why Buhari appointed a lawyer, with no expertise in mundane engineering, talk more of electrical engineering as minister of power and Nigerians are excited hoping to get constant power supply.
..Because leadership is more of a strong will and decision making rather than expertise. There are experts that can brief one at any time and do the job. All what is needed is direction ,decision making and follow up.
Boss13:
As long as Fashola is there, Nigerians should go and start making financing decisions on how to change or procure new power generators.
Prophet of doom. You lots always forget that you are first Nigerians before anything else. It is hight time you got over the election loss.

If this is all you could bring out from the write up, then you must be a very big fooool. The link you posted showed lagos. If you had read well, you would have seen that he was talking in relation to lagos and the statement you wrote up dear meant that he needed permision from the discos and all.
FamilyRe: Amazing Kitchen Tips That Will Change Your Life by naturalwaves: 9:48am On May 18, 2016
agoadiv:
Let's learn some KITCHEN tips, your kitchen is the most important room in your home.
A lot comes out from there, so let's learn some few tricks. Works wonders.
1. If you happen to over-salt a pot of soup, just drop in a peeled potato. The potato will absorb the excess salt.

2. When boiling eggs, add a pinch of salt to keep the shells from cracking.

3. Never put citrus fruits (Oranges, Lemons,
limes, etc) or tomatoes in the fridge. The low temperatures degrade the aroma and flavor of these fruits.(That's why our tomatoes don't last in the fridge)

4. To clean iron cooking ware, don’t use detergents. Just scrub them with salt and a clean, dry paper towel.

5. When storing empty airtight containers, throw in a pinch of salt to keep them from getting stinky..
Nice tips OP but always remember to give honour to an original post. Stop plagiarizing other person's work.

TravelRe: Trailer Falls At Lekki 3rd Roundabout (Photos) by naturalwaves: 12:29pm On May 02, 2016
Those trailer drivers are just so inexperienced. They usually approach that curve with top speed and try to turn the steering while on d sam top speed hence the reason for the slides almost all the time. I think it is the effect of cenripetal force. Motorists should always slow down when approaching a curved road.

Seems you are usually too blind to see that very big green signpost that says "Alternative route" when you pass through there. If you don't wanna pay the toll, you take the alternative route. Simple!

I was just thinking about this and couldn't get an answer so I decided to ask my people on NairaLand.

Thanks for all your contributions.
It depends on what type of opposite you are referring to. Is it "opposite" like the converse of something? Or physically "opposite" like the mosque is opposite the church? Which of the opposites are you referring to? That is what will determine the answer.

HealthRe: Why People Urinate More During Harmattan by naturalwaves: 3:00pm On Mar 10, 2016
On a cold day, the cold sensations from the environment would first be received by the cold sensitive nerve cell endings of the skin which will in turn send the message to the part of the brain that is responsible for the temperature regulation of the body. The part of the brain that is responsible for this is the HYPOTHALAMUS. In response to the message sent to it, this hypothalamus part of the brain then causes what is known as VASO-CONSTRICTION to take place i.e the blood capillaries under the skin will be made smaller so as to allow for less flow of blood. The result of this is that it leads to less sweating on the surface of the skin and there will not be a chance for evaporation and cooling. If your pores are not so opened and there are no sweating, water cannot be lost through the skin hence leaving you with the sole option of urinating. This is why people urinate more on a cold day or in a cold room and less on a hot day.

The most beautiful University in Nigeria, it has the best hostel facilities. I have been to fajuyi hall in Oau during nuga and what I saw there was a mess, lizards everywhere in the room. . Funaab halls of residence has air conditioners in their common rooms and reading rooms, also a room has two toilets each with one bathroom.. It's just that we don't like making noise like the other universities
You are right. I do not think there is any public school in Nigeria that has a better hostel than Funaab.
