casualobserver: The problem with Many of you is that you are small minded, think like simpletons and cannot see the big picture. The purpose of the conference is to source for funds for climate related and green energy projects.. When you hear for example that one village is being electrified with solar, or solar water pumps or solar boreholes, farming irrigation, flood abatement programs, this is often where the money comes from. If you are not there to present your green energy plans, you will not be a beneficiary. Most of the money is free money, not loans.
UAE alone is handing out $4b to Africa at this conference. Is it a country that isn’t there they will give the money to? Is it a ministry that isn’t there they will give the money to? US is also allocating $3b to Africa, other countries are making pledges. If you are not there you cannot benefit.
Yes there are people out there for a jamboree but there will be more funds coming to Nigeria than the total bill for the entire Nigerian delegation public and private.
The least Nigeria can expect out of what UAE alone is allocating to Africa is $300m…likely a lot more. The total cost assuming all 1400 participants are government sponsored (not so) and all actually attended (again not so) @$15k a head is $20m
You are the same people that if you hear another country received funding from COP will come here shouting why was Nigeria not there when they were sharing free money we could have used to recharge dry lakes, control flooding, provide irrigation for farmers, electrify villages, convert vehicles to CNG etc? You have said well...if 300m dollars would be given to nigeria abeg how much was spent to go there ??let's see |

I saw a post on killing babies here https://www.nairaland.com/7925676/israeli-pm-quotes-bible-appeals
It fits the narrative so well!
God punish Israel and the god of Israel (USA) that gives them funds and weaponry!
Since the war started the god of Israel aka USA has made billions in arms profit!
An average Jew will never quote the Bible. They'll rather quote their scriptures. But not so Zionist Israel!

I corrected the OP.
The OP ignorantly listed Christy as one of those who became popular after their death. That is wrong information. Christy has always enjoyed popularity before her death.
But you had to mention Fela. You are the confused being here. Okay you corrected the OP of having christy's name there meaning it shouldnt be at the first place as you big head said ooh,if we are to subtract her name it leaves us with five names,Oga five names and six are needed, what is now my offense in substiting hers with Fela Anikulapo Kutis name for God's sake to balance it at six names. The stupidity of a tribalist exposes them easily.
Which Fela's song became popular after his death?
Just say you were never his fan. His songs caused him problems with the military back then, especially his Zombie song. You said Christy essien igbokwe was already popular and widely celebrated...so why put her in this category as in does your brain still have the ability to process information at all?? |

aremubabs: Tribalism has eaten up your brain.
Many comments here agree that Christy Essien-Igbokwe was already famous before her death.
So, stick that nonsense up your ass before people are forced to derail this thread with a tribal war. You don't even know my tribe but again aren't you an errant nonsense and a blatherskite mixed with a pinch of in-depth stupidity when you want to put someone who was already popular and the thread says people that made it after their death... Everybody would agree that Felas music became popular and more appreciated after his death so what's the fuss.. |
Car Talk › Re: I Drove From Lagos To Akure With ₦2,450 Using CNG As Fuel by ncoolsome(m): 8:32am On Nov 24, 2023 |
Eriokanmi: Dey deceive yourself and be using lies to advertise CNG . Is it not same Akure i know? Did you pass through ilesha-Ife highway at all? If I could try it on generator and there was no significant difference, I wonder how it could work on automobile. When the cng was first being over-hyped here. I tackled the OP. Later when some Nigerians got carborateur and tried to convert their petrol gen to cng, they dropped the idea and kept silent.
Even in the USA, the country we used to copy in everything, there are barely 2,000 cng refuelling stations there. Today, petrol and diesel remain efficient means of powering automobile engines. Any Nigerian who falls for this lie the way they fell for the generator would only throw away money once again. You tried using gas for your generator when it was 580 naira or now that it's 920 naira to do your comparison ?? Do you know about from the economic benefit there's also environmental and for the fact that you don't get to repair your generator frequently using gas compared to pms.. |
