Good day house,my plan was to study in Canada as the case is right now. Even with heavy bank accounts Canada is still not sure so let me stay in my lane. Can I still apply to schools for Fall 2021. I hope is not too late.
I studied banking and finance, I have good experience in teaching line as I teach Mathematics.
I am contemplating to do Masters in Mathematics or Masters in Accounting and finance. Please which is more lucrative in the job market.

You guys should go to embassy website and read the minimum requirements for travel insurance, it's stated there that:

Travel medical insurance valid for the entire period of intended stay plus at least 2 days; valid for all Schengen countries; minimum coverage 30,000 EUR;

One year travrl insurance coverage will not fly

Please note; If you're going for a 3yrs course, you're to buy an insurance that would cover the whole three years plus two months extra.

Same goes with other courses. You buy an insurance that covers your study period plus some extra months.

You can't be going for a three years course and you're buying just one year insurance, the embassy would reject that insurance.

Guys please lets be careful of the advice we provide on here. Your school accommodation will do if it meets the accommodation requirements of the embassy ok....

A valid accommodation letter or contract must state the following:

- The amount of the rental (the cost of the rent per month or week or per day which ever one)

-The duration of the rental (either it states the exact dates or states that it covers the entire period of studies. Note it must cover a minimum of 1 year.)

- Address (Location of the accommodation)

- Embassy prefers paid accommodation reservations. So it needs to state that the reservation has been paid for. However if payment is only allowed on arrival like with most school dorms then it must state so in the contract.

-Needs to be signed by your landlord, property agent/representative/lawyer or a school representative (In the case that its your school providing the accommodation)

Also please note: the accommodation contract does not have to be signed by a lawyer but rather the point is that it has to be signed.
It should either be signed by your landlord, property agent or a school representative (In the case that its your school providing the accommodation)

In your case if the embassy rejected your school accommodation letter/contract, that means it did NOT meet the accommodation requirements expected by the embassy. Guys just because your school is providing your accommodation and giving you an accommodation letter/contract it does not mean that your school has the right format for it, your school needs to ensure the letter/contract they provide meets the embassy requirements. If it does not embassy will reject it or give your number 8 stating you have not justified the purpose of your stay. So check your school accommodation letter or contract please if it does not meet the requirements as above please tell your school to update the accommodation letter/contract

Please if you have any further questions please ask to avoid stories that touch.

you will need an accommodation contract signed by a lawyer..your school's accommodation letter won't do.
I speak from experience.
I had my school accomodation letter yet I had to get a one year house contract.
You can see houses at olx.pl, you can strike a deal with the landlord then you'll get the accommodation contract.

The reason why they were denied visa might be that they have not paid their full one year tuition fees or maybe the price of their accommodation is very expensive compared to that amount.
If you do the calculations on the amount needed for one year in the Polish website, it actually shows that 3m is enough for a credit card unless they don't use what they posted on their website shaa

Also the flirt reservation I have tried to reserve didn’t complete 1year instead d return date is June 2020 instead of August, is dat how it is? But I used proposed traveling date to be September but d return date now ends in June 2020.

See ehn, wisdom is profitable to direct. It's better to not apply to a school you're not sure of than to apply, pay tuition and get scammed or even go to school there then see it's not accredited or something. It'll only keep you stuck and regretting.
Check list of universities on https://study.gov.pl/ it's not that difficult. Select one, apply and move.

I'm sure you have your doubts too that's why you're asking. Go for universities you are sure of.

It basically states that u are under a contractual obligation of some sort and the agency or individual has approved your traveling for the purpose of work with no objection and you will return back to your home country once the work is done and continue with your contractual obligation. Necz u said it all, polish embassy Abuja even allowed u to be calling every week Thursday, what of some embassy that don't have any appointment date e.g India, Pakistan even Abu Dhabi, I emailed them since beginning of June I was told no appointment date I should check back June ending, but polish embassy Abuja u can call every week Thursday, and last week I know someone that got date 2people through phone call no agent, lets try to be patient in this country, small thing protest, u want to protest against another country, are u a citizen of the country, 2days ago in Abu Dhabi police break several emirate Id, some stupid Nigerians killed one local man, and they arrested several Africans if u complain u have ID they will break it in ur front ~~Dubai give Dubai take~~, pls let's be patient pls,

It's advisable to travel to your study destination after your visa has been issued some weeks to commencement of your program. Like one week to the start of your program.
The reason for this are enormous which include hassle free entry to your destination at point of entry.




Imagine your program start date is 1st Oct and your visa was issued 25th June, if you travel let say by July or Aug you will be questioned at point of entry for early arrival. Except you have a valid reason to do so if not travel 1-2 weeks to your start date.

I do not think you guys applying to schools in Poland wants to actually travel to that country. I rather think you are just trying to enrich the Polish government by paying tuition deposits, application fees to universities without knowing how to get a visa to travel to that country. How on earth would you all be trying to secure an appointment at the Polish Embassy in Nigeria for weeks and some even months and yet some people are still writing about getting admission to universities in Poland till date. Is it the desperation to travel or what?

I reside outside Nigeria and trying to secure an appointment for legalization at the Polish Embassy for a cousin for 2 weeks now with no luck. I have asked him to move on and also trying to get another school for him in another country. It is not worth it to keep trying I must confess. The big countries (e.g. US, Canada, UK, Australia etc) all have online booking or appointment systems. These are countries Nigerians flock to and yet they have a decent appointment system in place. How do one think a country like Poland with her embassy in Nigeria serviing 6 other countries will go for an archaic (19th century) booking system by opening slots for few minutes and locking the portal thereafter. Visa appointment is by phone booking in the 21st century? Dont you think it is a call to fraud or abuse of the system? A phone line open only on Thursdays for few minutes? Is that fair to all as enshrined in the EU Policy on Fairness? How do you think one would secure an appointment by calling a line that us not available without bribing his or her way thru?

Last week after trying to secure appointment for my cousin and unable thru the corrupt e-consulat system; I sent a mail to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Poland for a review of their booking system in Nigeria. I thought the system would have been improved by now owing to my knowledge of workings in some developed countries. I was however disappointed that it is still the same thing. I suggest you all do the same (thats those still interested in studying in Poland). If not, your tuition fees will be gone in a twinkle of an eye after much excuses from the universities on refund etc. Remember some of you also paid a non refundable application fee to some of these Polish Universities and these monies would have been better used even if na for suya and malt for Naija. At least the worms in the belly go bless u for feeding them well instead of wasting the same for a venture that is not profitable.

If they are sincere with promoting their country; they should be fair in their booking system. Thats all. If not they are part of the corruption going on in Nigeria.
