The location is safe and you can work depending on the skillset you have. In Poland IT skills will fetch you more money and even faster. So do what you have to do, apply for WIZA and move to Poland. Michaelshow: Good day all. Please, I am new here.
I applied for MSc System Engineering at WSG University in Bydgoszcz, Poland. I just got my documents verified by international admission office. I was asked to legalize my NECO result at the Nigeria Foreign ministry of affairs and then Polish Embassy.
Please any Nigerian in WSG, Bydygoszcz or familar with this location?
Can I work part time while studying? Is this location safe and standard of living in Bydygoscz ?
I look forward to hear from you

You might want to consider applying for a BSc programme adedejis2: Hello house. Very true. Not only German thread. Same with Estonia thread. A guy who went to Turkey to apply for his Estii VISA got asked if he was "Nairaland moniker". The VO then told him that they traced his name to his moniker when he booked VISA appointment. So you guys better be careful. iamadonis2: Na yawa
Till then. But still, please take off that comment. Comments that rub off badly on known or unknown activities connected to this Poland movement will not help us.
On the German thread, last year, someone came back to report that he appeared for a visa interview and the VO mentioned details culled from the German student visa thread on Nairaland |

Honestly; This sounds like good idea but it's not. But this is the exact same thing that the German Embassy did, and how did it end? The whole thing was a mess. I could remember back then, we will send an email to the German Embassy requesting for dates and they will respond between 3 to 14 days depending on the number of requests for VISA appointment till the own thing became unmanageable. As at March 2017; They had book appointment till November 2017 at the German Embassy and many never showed up because some didn't have an admission letter, some forged or used fake admission letters before they booked, some also didn't have PoF ready. etc Let's not get ahead of ourselves. How do you guys want the Embassy to cope or give dates to thousands or 10% of 260Million youths who are trying to run away from their own country without COMPLAINTS How? It's not possible my dear. As Nigerians, we have always been complaining from way back since 1960 till today. It's what we love to do. The almighty US Embassy is a typical example. As of now, the US Embassy appointment dates is all filled up till 2024. Are we still not complaining? Is that how you want Poland appointment to also turn out to be ? As a matter of fact; if the Embassy revert to this your method today, before the end of August new crops of people will come our crying wolf that the Embassy is making it hard for them. I'm also very sure that many will now prefer the calling option because it's presently the best available option right now considering that millions or thousands of people are trying to leave Africa at the same time. So my friend, there's no better solution to this. And one thing that I know for sure is that the Embassy will not because too many people want to run away from Nigeria double the size of their building to accommodate more staffs in order to take as many VISA applications as possible. See, everyone should just keep on trying their luck with the appointment. Try your best, pray to your God and keep a positive mindset and you will definitely get what you want. BigUps seyman247: But hold on! Why cant the Embassy make this booking visa appointment easy if truly they are fighting against racketeering, which was the order of the day during the online booking system era.
So Step1: Pay your Visa Fee into a Euro Domiciliary Account at a designated bank ( at least this will save them the stress of re-depositing cash collected at the Embassy every now and then)
Step 2: Applicants who have made payments will then be required to forward transaction receipt ID to the Embassy through an Embassy Designated Date
Step 3: Embassy respond with the closest date based on the appointment booking calendar ( no matter how long), after confirmation of payment (which may take between 1-2 working days)
Step 4: Applicant make a submission based on the scheduled date and guess what..... EVERYBODY smiles afterwards!!!
Is it that HARD ? NO! Then why would the Poland Embassy switch on the line by 9 am and switch off by 9.30 am for a process that is done ONLY once a WEEK!!!!!!

That amount is too small. And as a matter of fact, 2.5M can only land you a VISA denial. I will advice you go look for a sponsor who earns between 500k -1.5M OR better still get a CC with at least 5M limit. gwallt: Please guys I need your advice! I couldn’t get a sponsor and I’m trying to use a credit card of 2.5M. I’m going to Warsaw university of technology tho. I haven’t pay for my school fees but I guess I could get the credit card certificate with the amount in the account and pay for my school fees once I have the certificate. Now the question is! 1.Will that amount work for me? 1.Can l use self-sponsor since I’m going for a master program?? 2.What other documents do I need to add if at all I could use that amount?? The Proof of Funds is suppose to be submitted to the embassy; meaning it must be active for 1 month till the Embassy grants you your WIZA. If you tamper with it and the Embassy tries to verify, it might be costly. Precy102: If one is sponsoring herself, how best will she go about it as it concerns POF?

Some schools are still open. English Language proficiency from your Nigerian school or MoE is enough or sufficient for the English requirement for Poland Schools except a school specifically request that you should provide IELTS. That amount is enough. If you have all the right documents with the right details in the needed areas; Trust me, your VISA will come so easily without you sweating. I will also encourage you to stay away from those ranting about denials without any form of encouragements. Students get VISA everyday at the Polish embassy. I repeat Students get VISA everyday at the Polish embassy. So you can be among these few people who will still get soon. BaldGandalf: Hello, guys. I have gone through part of this thread and i must say, you guys are doing a great job. Please, is 10 million naira enough to study in Poland? Thinking of doing an undergraduate course. Travel › Re: Polish Student Visa by necz: 1:00pm On Jul 24, 2021 |
For No 8 If you're for October intake; Then it's definitely an accommodation issue. It's either your accommodation documents doesn't have the required details as specified by the Embassy. OR It could also be that the accommodation is unverifiable as at the time that the Embassy called to confirm if you truly have reserved a room for your stay in Poland. Solution: Go and get another Accommodation Documents or tell whoever (School or Landlord) to re-issue you another Accommodation document (a) Accommodation Contract & (b) Confirmation of Accommodation Letter. You will have to submit both if you got it from your Landlord or agent. For school; the Confirmation of Accommodation Letter alone is enough oneal01: Please good people in the house I went for my visa collection and number 8 was spotted for me as denial writing YOU HAVE NOT jUSTIFY ThE PURPOSE AND CONDITION OF THE INTENDED STAY.. well I have 3 other people 2 for masters and one for bsc and they were all denied with the same word been noted .. I don’t know what might be the cause .. and my documents are up to date I mean with the dates and all .. please I need help if someone could explain better for me cos I have 14 days to appeal . |

You just have to use it like that. Take both your old and new passport along to the Embassy. The security guys might tell you that you can only go in with 1 of the passport, Pls do not listen to them. Take both passports and give to the VO. Let the VO decide on what he/she wants. whether they will take the new one or take the old passport. peterdrury: Good day Everyone,
So i got a new Passport and wrote to PULS to send me documents containing my new passport number.
It was edited written with a pen online and stamped.
please will this new document fly or should i used the previous one that has old passport number.

Well said. Kokochi1111: Okayy for anyone who has their bsc from Benin republic,(I had a bunch of replies here saying, we could authenticate at MOE but that’s inaccurate) So here’s the solution to my initial question: we had to go to Benin embassy to get a contact of someone who works there that was traveling to Benin, he then took the documents and authenticated them in Benin. When you get them back you have to take it to the Benin embassy in abuja to get it stamped, then to MOF Abuja for another stamp before taking it to polish embassy Abuja for legalization. Make anybody no confuse again!
