JASONjnr: Irrespective of the fact that I fan Davido over Wizkid, turning down an ardent fan would make him lose many fans to the millions of arewas he recently lose due to the islamic video clips he posted.
And no Yorubas came to his rescue after claiming that Christians and Muslims are one in Yoruba land.
Modified:
I've had over hundred mentions over this comment and all are Yorubas attacking me for mentioning a tribe.
But they never used this same energy to tell the arewas that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the video.
So far, they've been able to call Wole Soyinka as the only Yoruba man to have spoken in defence of Davido. Only prof. Wole ......
Isn't it a shame? Oga, he already has enough fans, if he looses some he gains hundred more. Especially productive ones that can pay to attend shows, not some hungry deprived so called fans up north. What do you think is this guy's purpose for riding bicycle if not for him to be given money by davido? |

It is good to support government as you do. But when thing as going glaringly wrong, don't you think you should point it out, so those in authority change course or put more competent people? Is the current situation not affecting you? the increase and announced pending increase in fuel cost, the almost daily devaluation of the naira, the increase in Poverty. Are you not concerned? Or do you stay abroad? |
Business › Re: We Will Name & Shame Commercial Banks Engaged In Illegal Sales Of Dollars – CBN by nedekid: 10:31pm On Aug 10, 2023 |
omohayek: What is this claptrap about "Illegal remittances"? This is utter nonsense from an economic point of view, and solid evidence that this guy has no business staying in place a day longer than necessary. Remittances actually strengthen the Naira regardless of how they are conducted, as they represent demand for the currency. Nowadays, Nigeria actually gets more of its USD from remittances than it does from oil, and without them the . The only thing "illegal" about them is that Emefiele's greedy CBN tried to force Nigerians abroad to yield to an "official" exchange rate that effectively gave them half of what their money was really worth, and sadly this incompetent clown seems set on continuing this pig-headed policy meant to create a steady source of funds to siphon through arbitrage schemes like "round tripping". Any source of foreign exchange strengthens the domestic currency, no matter the route it flows through, just as any source of demand for tangible goods strengthens the bargaining position of those selling them.
As urgent as the Niger coup matter may be, Tinubu needs to act quickly to find a new permanent CBN governor who actually understands economics and is willing to sweep the CBN clean of all ignorant holdovers from the Emefiele era such this one. Until someone serious and confidence-inspiring is put in charge and given a free hand to clean shop, the Naira will continue to drop in value like a stone, as the status quo gives little confidence to markets that the root cause of Nigeria's ever-weakening currency - namely inflationary monetary policies - will be nipped in the bud. Enough of incompetents trying to shift blame to "AbokiFX" or "greedy [sic] bankers" for their own self-inflicted failures. Supprisenly, Emefiele made banks payout remittances in hard currency and not the cbn rate as you stated. Infact the money was credited in dollar into your domiciliary account. And if you did not have one, a default dom account was created instantly by the bank for you. From there you could the make your withdrawal. |

festacman: President Tinubu should stop deliberately allowing himself to be be distracted by Niger's internal affairs as against his primary assignment of leading Nigeria to prosperity. - Nigeria and Nigerians need his undivided attention 24 hours because the ship is sinking - Nigerians need him to inaugurate his ministers immediately to commence work because even the Niger coupists have beaten him on this as they have cabinet already - Nigerians need him to pay more attention to ACTIVE governance and less attention to political appointments and consolidating his positions in APC - Nigerians need him to URGENTLY unveil his policies, programmes, incentive packages and reforms toward reviving the economy. - Nigerians need him to pay attention to managing the rising inflations due to removal of subsides and floating exchange rate policy. - Nigerians need him to be a lot swifter in approaching government than the baba go slow he is currently is.
Where is the manifesto that was sold to us? What What has happened to erudite Femi Gbajabiamila many hoped would keep Tinubu focused on the things that matter? Are Tinubu's recently appointed Senior Special Assistants sleeping rather than brainstorming? What's going on? What miracle do you expect? Can one give what he does not have? Even the fellow you mention will keep his oga in check, go and read his bio and see the kleg there. Anyway, let's be optimistic. |

Nigeria is facing unprecedented economic crises but Ebola is more concerned about what is happening in Niger republic. Another country is more important to him than the country he was selected to rule🤡 You think he gives a hoot? Someone that in right senses thinks 8k monthly will help any family. Someone that said all you need is cassava, garri, beans and dodo, that said youths should be sent to the army to learn how to cock gun, and what they need is to eat the above stated grains to make them contented. You think it was all a joke? That is his mindset he stated. A person that his kids at 21, 22, 30, despite the glaring poverty in the land can in good conscience buy them 2.1, 25, 11 million dollar houses from unexplained wealth, wealth without factories, bakeries, industries, offices etc. Is that the person that gives a darm? |
Politics › Re: IPMAN Confirms Another Fuel Pump Price Hike by nedekid: 5:39pm On Aug 10, 2023 |
Yeah right. Genius plan to turn us to Venezuela and Zimbabwe, the only difference is that those countries are on hostile sanctions. We are not. As fuel price increases, naira will continue to crash, salaries will be increased at bare minimum but not commensurate. Sorry to say, but by year end we could be buying fuel at 1k per liter with $1 at ₦1500. (God forbid). We warned about handing a country of 200m people to folks that have wealth without enterprise. Nigerians did not hear. Anyone could increase taxes in a tax ripe state, anyone could be governor, Afterall despite all the increased revenue, the state was still pushed deep in debt. The only gov that showed dexterity and financial skills was Ambode that added no debt during his tenure yet accomplished much. Anyway, we are all in this together. One day we will have sense. |

FuckDModz:

Nigerians don't care.
As long as their brother is in power, competency is not important.
Nigerians love suffering shamelessly.
The politicians know this. Exactly, and that is the doom of the country. We will turn around and hate, discredit who genuinely wants the progress of the country for tribal reasons. Are we not the ones, that have hooked now? Some people know how to naturally turn things around, but will a chance be given? I will give you 2 examples. 1. What did Osibanjo do when he took office for a short period, sars went off the streets, he sacked dss head that violated the judiciary, because of that police oga cautioned his boys and they knew he meant business, naira that hit 750 crashed to 300. How come. 2. For the past 8 years, no school, business, transporters would have been able to buy buses because of the high price due to exchange rate. Eg a brand new haice bus is currently over 40m, coaster 50m. A brand new korope from Suzuki cfao motors is 10m. Out of the blue, some sharp guy goes to Japan, starts buying 1st class used buses. Cuts the top off, disassembles them. Stacks eg 30 vehicles in a 40ft container instead of the 4 vehicles a 40 footer will contain. He the ships it in, assembles them and crashes the price of korope to 2m, hummer bus 7m. Nigerians can then afford to buy. This is what I mean. This same Nigeria could be handled by a competent person, naira would have appreciated, fuel price would have dropped, fuel importation would have been cheaper somehow. If you doubt, read again the example of cost buses I have up there, a way was found. |
