Oga oooo. And yet we always bring the blames on the government, meanwhile individuals too are terrible both at home and abroad. I honestly don't know how things can be corrected again in Nigeria? The judiciary is so corrupt so is the executives. The law enforcers are something too. Everything in Nigeria is so messed up.
And yet the economy is so bad. Dollar as at yesterday was 703 again at the black market. Who did we offend in this country? How do we get to the point where we are now. ASSU still on strikes, and yet government can't find solution to the problem.
Well, something needed to be done, and most definitely not any of the 3 that possess to be Messiah definitely has the solution yet.
God help us!
God really has to help us. As you wondered how things can be corrected, same way some folks have lost hope. Over the past few weeks, I have seen Nigerians move their families out, rent an apartment and just chill, watin happen? they say just to get out of the madness in naija for a while, to clear head. Even me too had to do so. The surge in opening foreign bank accounts nko? It is almost impossible for a Nigerian, why? Our people over the years have destroyed our reputation through fraud thinking they are "smart". Meanwhile oyinbo has tightened the screws, making it hard for those that want to save outside the Nigerian banking industry in which your money is devalued on a daily basis.
To even get personal travel allowance, I applied 1month before, Zenith bank did not have, now applied to gt, I could not get, it was 1 week after my travel date the bank then canceled, claiming it was past my travel date. I did not get! Even to withdraw from dom acct had issues as no FX! Meanwhile the elusive forex appeared in supplus during the political primaries. No forex no forex, a sitting cbn gov spent billions buying hundreds of cars to run for president! Another fellow in bourdillion was said to have cleared the whole blackmarket of forex hiking the price.
My brother, that country is doomed, apc has wrecked the country. In the next few months, the extent will start to show. Some of us hoped that a different out of the box person would change things hence support towards Obi, but tribalism, insults etc has been the order of the day. Bottomline, if you have any change, move it abroad to a stable, serious place. Few days ago, I bought pounds ₦825, something that was stable at ₦220-250 for over 16 years!
If you had 10m 7 years ago, it is worth about 3m or less now. NO BE JUJU BE THAT?

Is Obi trying to tell us he's now become a celebrity because some Churches he was invited to were clapping for him?. I can't believe this man is reeling out the names of different churches and occasions he has attended as though it would swell up his CV as a career boost. This is evident of the fact that Obi is plagued with first degree low grade mind that has spread around his gullible followers.
Tinubu for over a decade, has attracted men of timber and caliber as well as average individuals of different class levels to his annual birthday colloquium, yet he remained humble, helping raise leaders across the country. Obi had never experienced such an highpoint in his life neither has he attracted anything close to such in his personal capacity, hence glory in frivolities of Church attendance and social functions.
Na you sabi, vote Tinubu and leave others to vote Obi. undecided

There is demand and consumption in the US.
The US exports instruments of taking life. They are the number 1 exporter of from single guns to weapons of mass destruction. So is Mexico sends a paltry $11m worth of medicine, no problem. undecided

Dubai is an ARAB nation , a proud one at that . They understand that young Nigerian men and women come to Dubai to hussle . They also get intimidated when Nigerians outsmart them and begin to prosper , hence they don’t want Nigerians there because it is hard for them to control Nigerians like other African nationals.

They are racist over there , they don’t respect your so-called UN human rights , and ofcourse they don’t care about Nigeria either . Nigerians has over-hyped Dubai so much that it’s not even worth going to anymore .

Travel to Dubai at your own peril or risk !!!!!

There in is the erroneous believe that Nigerians are smart. I'd rather say stupid! There is this saying that you fool me once, shame on you, you fool me twice shame on me.
What smartness and prosperity? Nigerians went into Dubai and robbed a money changing office, got some cash, they sell drugs or commit fraud, or do cult runs, is that prosperity or being smart? Go to the United kingdom and try opening a bank account that was easy to do those days, it is almost impossible as a Nigerian. Why, so called smart nigerians, basterdised the system years back. Ofcourse on the short term they made small money, but on the long term destroyed opportunities for other Nigerians!
Most countries now do not want to see Nigerians come and mess up their place as we have done ours. And I see it getting worse.

Can you imagine? Nigeria is seriously been dragged on the mud now.
You arnt seen nothing. And it is getting worse. But can you blame them? Everywhere most Nigerians enter, they destroy the place. They think they are smart playing the system, they get away with it the first time, but over time, those countries tighten up the screws.
You cannot just travel to someone's country, misbehave, mess up the place just as we have done to naija.
Most likely these people detained have eg no return tickets, no booked accommodation, no concrete explanation for the Dubai visit. Eg you claim to be going shopping or holidaying yet arrive the country with $10!
Try opening an account in the UK and see how difficult it is, mainly due to the fraudulent activities of our people over the years.

SeaTrade:
Buy crude legally at what price and in which currency?
If they start selling to them at discounted naira prices, how then will Nigeria earn forex for your everyday needshuh
Also if they buy the crude at international prices ,whether in dollars or its naira equivalent, that is the death of their business because they will be highly outpriced by corporations that have better economies of scale and efficiency and they will still fall back to bursting pipes to steal crude.
That business exist only because the raw material(crude) is gotten by its operators for next to nothing(oil theft!) .
Put some real business costs to it and watch it die overnight.
They should be bullied out of business with weapons as they can't provide any economic value.
Think!
I think there are ways it could be done, selling to them not for the purpose of earning forex, that will be left to the big oil companies.
Do you know there are lots of marginal fields already drilled and capped bit not in use because they don't have the oil in commercial enough quantity to require further investments by the big cooperations? Such fields can be assigned. This is not new, I know a gas company that got its well, drilled and producing cooking gas for local use.
If there is will it can be done, Afterall, the guys there are already stealing the oil to refine.

Many of them can't build except like 4 or 5 because of capital. Even government is struggling to repair the one it has. But Dangote approach banks in Nigeria and abroad to build that refinery but we Nigerians don't know that it is capital intensive and takes a lot of time to build.
Modular refineries is the way. In eg india you see them dotted all over.
But naija, we always want things done on a grand scale.
If regulation is relaxed, approvals given to those Niger delta boys currently refining illegally, they will buy crude legally, maybe discounted, refine and satisfy the demand in that area under proper quality and environmental regulation.
But we like things on a grand scale to show we spent billions.
I remember a machine tool factory fgn proposed building in the 80s for millions, massive complex, meanwhile the supplier of tools in India operated from a 2 room workshop.

The brain drain Nigeria is currently experiencing is alarming. I personally know at least 6 lecturers who have relocated to the UK and Canada. Even Uganda, Ethiopia and Kenya are currently recruiting Nigeria academicians. Professors who are supposed to be mentoring young lecturers are leaving the country in droves. Don't be surprised if school resumes and more than half of university lecturers are out leaving massive vacuum that will take this country decades to fill. It is well.

Cc: seun, lalasticlala mynd44
Not just lecturers, but in every field. Banks now are having problems running their servers. Fraud has risen, people complain they face delays in getting refunds. Airline industry collapsing, emirates has stopped, other airlines are charging a premium due to high risk, aviation fuel, diesel etc outrageously priced. Nigerians now have to go to ghana, Togo etc to fly!
See education, if you cannot pay private uni fees, your kids will be at home! What then happens to the poor masses?
There is nothing apc has not destroyed. Anyone that votes apc again including Tinubu that brought this calamity to fufll his personal ambition, deserves what ever they get.
