AmGreat1234:Uber us a business, some states for now might not be commercially viable. |
Am4Victory:Watch and see, nothing will be done to the dpo, area commander or CP. No heads will roll. So it continues. |
Rozross:Face the issue he raised. Does it make sense or not? |
Stupid charlatans. Where is the army or police to pump some lead into them? ![]() |
Stallionhorse:Understandable, naija can make one feel and do as you said, buy hey, that is the bane of the country right now that nothing works. Everybody wants to grab what they can not thinking of the collective good. The line is that join them if you cannot beat them. Evil is celebrated while hard work, honesty is scorned at. Truely unfortunate. |
Stupid! But the ban on alcohol sales did not affect source of livelihood of folks up north? |
Na wah, making life difficult for others. Funny enough who notice the tribal marks on the face ![]() |
Something really has to be done. The rate some of our brothers are spoiling things for legitimate Nigerians, very soon few countries will alow us in. |
Cypress042:I think so too. He looks 50 or there about in this picture. That should make him to be in his early 70s. |
Him don listen to motivatinal speakers to be persistent.

COMPAQ:Eg, a person in the UK buys a cheap used late model car for 2k pounds. Ie @825 per pound. It cost him 1.650m. You as a naija man buys same car, you pay same 2k pounds. You then ship it to naija for eg 800 to 1000. That same car will cost you minimum 1.2m to clear. ₦1,650,000(cost of purchase+825,000(shipping)+1,200,000(clearing)= ₦3,675,000. For an old banger scrappy car. As I wrote earlier I saw a hyundai kona car at a dealership, 2k deposit and you pay between 200 and 300 pounds monthly. Drive of with a 2022 model electric car. That same car I priced last year August in naija and it was ₦27m. Probably cost more now because of inflation. |
Bradford111:Huh |
You are truelly a wonderful guy. With all the women in town, na the one weh don born 3 for different men you decided to go and give belle to become papa number 4?

I was on that escalator the same day. Arrived around 2.30pm. The problem is that the immigration set up their screening point just after the elevator. So fresh arrivals have to queue and the lines extend to the base of the excalator. So once you stand on the escalator to take you down, it descends on the mass of people on the queue, no where to move. So they tumble on each other. My post yesterday made reference to the shouting match that happened between airport officials and passangers. A Yoruba man with his family. Omo, I twale for the guy, he did not allow himself to be intimidated. That airport is a shit hole. Once you step out of the aircraft and into the tunnel abi apron it is called, you smell raw sewage ie like latrine smell. I wonder if that tunnel has a soak away. |
apache22b:You OK so? What has this story got to do with the crap you just vomited? Even with that, why not face your mentor and leave others to face theirs? Na by force?
|
ElSudani:They closed down their old location for a new one at lekki. They told us they were moving to lekki. Ie moved from old premises to new one. Did not ask of more details. Could be partnership, investor, buy over, me I do not know. All I got from them then without bias was the name of owner of the new place. |
ElSudani:Bros, there use to be this Chinese restaurant at palm Avenue Lagos. Next building to st John's primary school. The name of the restaurant was golden crown Chinese. From the 70ies to the 80ies, 90ies, 2000. Infact all the staff knew us as kids, up till adult hood. In the mid 2000 took my wife there with child and a staff playfully twisted my ear calling me small boy. I am saying this so you know how much I know that restaurant. Few years later we went there, they said they were shutting down, that thay had a new place at lekki, a hotel they will be managing for an ex governor. That was the first time I heard of oriental hotel. We visited the place. It was not opened then. It had just been furnished. They took us round the rooms, on a tour of the facilities. Bottomline, the billionaire owns the place through fronts. Abi is it a crime to own a hotel again? Is he not providing employment to hundreds or thousands of people? |
SeaTrade:I disagree. My paddy eg bought a late model Toyota avensis for 800 and a bus for 1000. He loaded them in a container. He complained that by the time it gets to naija, people cannot pay for it. So he has to give it out on hire purchase for 7-8m. 1000+2500 for clearing and shipping ie 3500 x825=2.888m. Ie you land a car you bought for 1k pounds for ₦2.88m. Go to a hyundai dealership. Infact the one at Stratford Westfield. There is a kona electric car, You pay 2k deposit and pick up the car, pay 200-250 monthly. That same car August last year in naija was 27m cash. Today it is probably more like 35m! Money you go use buy house! I am not talking of running cost. Besides how much is fuel compared to their earnings or minimum wage? Our minimum wage is 30k, and I use almost half of that to fill my tank. |
Jennifer663:For real, I hear the cheapest car to clear now cost minimum 1.1m! I was with a friend last week at Sam's yard. Container loading point in rainham. He loaded 2 cars and was complaining of the clearing cost. That the cheapest car to clear was ₦1.1m upwards. That they are evaluated as 2013. So you buy a 2003 car but you pay 2013 duty! All he complained about was the increased cost of clearing and that if you have a car in Nigeria, keep it well cost the rising cost will make it difficult for Nigerians to buy. He said our leaders were all gov pikin that never struggled for money so are insensitive to the plight of ordinary Nigerians. Do you know we are poorer than people in the UK, yet we pay more for cars than they do? |
adioolayi:Most will be murder for hire, conversion of property. Ie they grab a suspected armed robber, kidnapper etc, they make him transfer or pull out all the money in his accounts, make him sign out his property as if it he sold them etc, the sucker is then executed. This kyrari built a musque at the Ikeja cps office way back close to 10 years ago when he was oc Sars. Walai, you see his boys come in from operation in Toyota siennas, they looked worse than the armed robbers they went after. Some with ear rings, even in their nose. Some with Dada hairstyle sef. There in public, you will see them sharing wads of cash recovered from suspected criminals! |
Racoon:Are there goverment officials living a lifestyle within their means? Very very few if you find any. |
Call for elections tomorrow, you will hear them shout Sai baba! Abeg, you cannot cry more than the bereaved. |
lomprico:Omo, Nigeria is cursed. That is my conclusion. I came into the country yesterday after small holiday. Lovely Heathrow Airport, transited at doha, Qatar. You gats to see the airport. On arrival at mm2, the way the plane landed, surely it was on a pothole. To exit the aircraft nko, the apron or what do they call the tube you walk into that leads to the airport smelt like latrine! As if raw sewage was inside the tube! Next thing over one dead staircase escalator, one airport official shouted on a passanger with his family, the man responded. See heavy shouting match! Meanwhile, to go through immigration, the standing na die, although same is done abroad, but those abroad do their jobs and not picking phone calls and making unsolicited banter. Bottomline, Donald Trump was right when you call Nigeria a shithole. It truelly is. Just imagine the impression someone that has never been to the country before gets once they exit the aircraft, shit smell. |
MALIGNANTGuest:Just go to booking.com and search for hotels, pay and you are good to go. But I hear they are not issuing visas to below 40 year Olds. As usuall Nigerians have gone to shit there. |
Them no de tell person, him eye go soon clear. ![]() |
Na today? Before this locust regime removed the last "subsidy" I said it, make fuel price 1000k, few months later they will say they are paying subsidy all over. I say it again today, make fuel price 2k per liter, months later they will tell you they are paying subsidy. Naija na cruise. ![]() |

Lolz, part of the problem apc led gov has brought on Nigeria. Few months ago, one or 2 governors complained cbn was printing money to for fgn to spend, and had been doing that for a while. Watin you think say de cause inflation? Even crash of naira? If you like vote apc again in what ever guise. Tinubu don kukuma talk say price of dollar no affect ordinary Nigerians cause them no de travel. |
Lolz, the current almajeri led gov does not believe in education and so they don't give a hoot. The trillions claimed to have been spent feeding school kids at school when schools were shut down during covid or the money's claimed to have been dashed to less priviladed could have solved this ASUU problem. But alas, is there anything touched by apc thy have not destroyed? Yet some still want to vote this calamity 2023, no be juju be that? They have not just destroyed the country but now the want to destroy the future of Nigerians ie education! Lecturers have lost hope and leaving the country in droves with their skills! Bloody shit hole country! And it is true, why? Exiting the aircraft yesterday onto the apron tunnel leading into mm2, the apron smelt like raw sewage! Can you imagine the impression on first time foreign visitors? |
Infrabetatech:As some will say, people like mc oluomo are making money without book. Why do people have to go to school when all they need to be contented is to be recruited into the army, clean, cork and shoot gun, while they are fed with agbado, cassava and the rest, eheyiinn.. Others are making progress, Nigeria is retrogressing. |
Na wah. Why can't theh face their own and let others face theirs? ![]() |
