You all missed this part in the report. A separate delegation led by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, failed to set eyes on the governor during an attempted visit two weeks ago as he had been moved to the intensive care unit and on life support. He and his four companions could only leave a get well message with Mr. Suntai’s doctors.SaharaReporters has also learned that last week, Mr. Suntai’s personal doctor visited Nigeria and confided in family members and friends that the governor is unlikely to recover from his head injuries anytime soon......it would be nice to know how much this hospital is charging per hour that the governor remain in their custody. Here is what I say, The Governor is already dead! Hospital knows the Nigerian Federal Givt will absorb the cost ultimately and the longer he is believed to be on life support the more they can earn. Why would his status on life support debar official delegation or his own family from visiting his bed side? These high ranking Nigerian officials were, again as is usual, bamboozled and hoodwinked by oyibo. |
I don't see how you can sponsor discussion on this topic and expect to manage temperaments, particularly that the pogrom and war will be the sentiment on the ibo side. They will clearly give a biased view of the cause while they hype the outcome of the effect and which the non-ibos will not accept without a heated response. Deep sight made a very good point and I think his input clearly wraps this up. If we talk of political appointments in Nigeria, Ibo has benefited, before and after the war, more than any other Southerner. Read Deepsights post and reflect on it. |
the oil is a blessing but the mismanagement is a curse. |
Malawian: @ aigbofa and dayokanu, malawian is about to start a thread to cruch the remaing Yoruba resistance. my break comes up next week, and i cant wait. una go hear am nah.yeah, bring it on, stupid kidnapper..... mechienu ![]() who is the new Eze for ibo people? where is onlytruth to lock this were back in his stable. |
....guess what, another alert, in fact two came in just now. a yanmiri somewhere in Nl has uttered the Y. ![]() |
Yoruba does not hate anybody....water is our racial element, we no get enemy. |
You should develop one that helps you quote posts properly
....how would that resolve this odenigbo hatred for his fellow igbos? |
Why are you in an Igbo discussion thread? What brought you here? Igbos don't care about yoruba discussions and stay out because it's not important to their lives. But this one is important to your life and you're here..why?
....i have a notification system that gives me heads up, an alert, whenever igbo indigenes utter the word "Yoruba". Did you or any of your fellow ochas say the Y word? |
A yoruba person created the account to create discord amoung igbos, there's a strange and very childish tribalism that will never die among them. If you make a thread glorifying igbos it now gets deleted lol. It's really pathetic because in the end of the day they know where they are and they know where we are and if they try to hide it the facts remain. any picture i post of owerri gets deleted because nowhere in the SW looks that good. the mod thinks that by deleting the pictures they can take away the fact that enugu, imo, uyo, asaba, and PH look better than every where in the SW. power to them lol. That's why nobody is buying ad space on this site and it's ratings are dropping (i watch the analytic statistics)
. mumu, odenigbo is worse than ojukwu. ojukwu at least advocated for all igbos, this crazy demon has always seen Anambra as the original igbo, other igbos to him are bastards. His signature theme is pro Nri and anti Osu. What does Yoruba have to do with that? Odenigbo own up, did you write this or not. |
DivideUs: forget all that, we are not looking for beaches ok (we have leisure areas too, fun is not only about beaches), we want a corridor directly from the north to the sea and i dont think thats being unreasonable as offshore oil will probably be claimed by countries (south) closer to it and all the north is asking for in return is the corridor that will be now and for ever owned by the north. not your lousy tax waivers until you decide not to? NO!!!!....whatever corridor you used before you were "glued" to the south im surre will still be there for yiur use after the fastener is broken. |
odenigbo, me chionu....yeye person. ![]() Anambra is one of the oldest states in alaigbo, it is still behind except for kidnapping and robbery where it maintains top posiyio. I guess thats what you meant by "we are on top". |
wow!! guys, go check out the contractors. very interesting that these contractors are all ibo owned companies. why did this state government discriminate against non-igbo companies? |
......expect to see them soon show up in Lagos. |
Nwudu lives and goes evrrywhere except home. Even his father lived away from home. There is a new dawn in Yorubaland, Nwudu should respect laws of foreign lands or face deportation.........back to alaigbo or aladubai. |
Very revealing, particularly of the economy and social progress of Lagos and the sorrounding cities. Example: Ejinrin was the single largest market on the West African coast in 1900......exporting timber, palm kernel, palm oil, rubber. http://libsysdigi.library.illinois.edu/ilharvest/Africana/Books2011-05/3064634/3064634_1900_1901_lagos/3064634_1900_1901_lagos_ocr.txt |
This is what alliancrs and trade partnerships are for. As jakumo said, there is a network of rail an road interchanges to connect their markrt to the sea. If they need leisure and relaxation on the coast tourist services will be there for them to use. |
This post is created to give clarification and help resolve confusion around the status of Eko (Lagos Island). There are misunderstandings in the public domain and it will not be denied that a covetous culture exist with those enamored with the specious landscape, the aesthetics and elements of Eko. In this post I assign timelines around the political markers of the successive administrative eras between 1861 till date. I begin the post with the indigenous rulers, followed by the Bini rulers, followed by the international alliances and trade, then followed by the war, followed by the treaty, the colony of Lagos, the 1906 amalgamation, the 1914 amalgamation, followed by the matrix and the axis, followed by the political turbulence of 50s, then the Independence, the Republic, the failed ambition to seize Lagos, the failed ambition to own Lagos, the clamour for Lagos, it will be capped with the propaganda to own or destroy Lagos. stay tuned.... |
Biggoozz: Are u the kidnaper?...im not ibo. |
@op, talk like you got some sense. motorcycles are not banned for private use and self-transportation, they are banned for commercial use to ferry passengers. |
afam4eva: Everyone has got an opinion. If you think it's nonsense, someone else thinks it's not. Afterall back in the day Lagos was not part of the western region..Lagos might not be but....western region stretched to Warri. So free Lagos and return Warri to West. |
.....Chime will surface after hin ransome money is paid. |
abes: Source....if you read the full executive document you will notice the emphasis on "Yoruba people". Governors come and go, political affinities change but the land and the people remain. Again, Ondo belong to Ondo people, not to Mimiko and the people are included here in DAWN. We hope to see Mimiko's presence in future gatherings. You dont have to post the document here, the Yorubas in here know about it. |
drnoel: Tell me, who is to stop that from happening. If it can happen, then it will happen. As long as the person has lived there a long time and the law of the land allows it, why not. U people should really grow up cos that is what is pulling Nigeria back. Look, one of my uncles who has lived in Lagos for 40 years was given a chieftaincy and he now moves in the oba of Lagos counsel. His nephew contested for cousellorship and wanted to contest for local government chairmanship. These are Igbo men......what chieftaincy title does your uncle have? |
abes: Is Ondo state part of the plan?...yes. Ondo is in Westrrn Nigrria. |
Abagworo: You seem to have an eye on Lagos money. This is as good as an Igbo wanting Rivers State in the SE.hmmm, im watching your tresspass.. ...land grabber ![]() |
berem: NDI MMANU OFE..... ODIKWA EGWU!shut your mouth and speak English. if you no sabi english speak pidgin. yeye ![]() |
In the dispute over land ownership and the rights of domiciliary, the customary statutes and its legacies of native laws will always trunp over privileges promised to individual citizens under the impulse of decrees and constitutional statutes. I dont know why people expect the Nigerian constitution to invalidate native laws of a land and win for them in a foreign land what that same law is incapable of winning for them on their own soil.
Sad news. But it seems like this is the opportunity for Ibhoe cowards to stop their women from sniffing after Yoruba men. If you can't beat them, ruin their reputation, no? He didn't bath her with acid because she was Ibhoe, he bathed her with acid because he was a cruel man. And not because he was Yoruba. It would be harsh to post several animalistic and wicked act carried out by Ibhoe men to kill Ibhoe women.
..if we say Yoruba and Ibo cultures are irreconciliably different, then I dont even know how a cultural rite such as marriage across this divide will not heighten and accelerate pressure points that inherently must surface in a matrimony. Admittedly, there are exceptions.....but there far more Ibos chasing after and clinging to Yoruba, whether male or female, than it is in the other direction. |
Igbo women will never learn that Yoruba are the most wicked tribe in Africa. They are just cowards, but if you give them the slightest chance they can do anything. Anything!
Im shocked that such a statement came from you. How can a people that never slaughter your men or disembowel your women be labeled such? Thisis an individual case basis that needs to be seen as such and protested by all. Beautiful souls as yourself should not be making ugly prejudiced statements. |
