.....his statement is not in any way a contradictiin of regionalism. Regionalism does not kill the center, it subsidizes it and thats what people want, whether in North, East or West. |
Eze, I nominate all of them. Add Onila there too. Can you do me a favor? |
....and then you got a yeye person on the judges panel! wth!! ![]() |
I read through the whole thread and Im wondering to myself if there s any reason why Ify is not in the panel of judges. Shouldn't her name have been the first on the list already before anyone else's? ![]() Why isnt anonymous on the judges panel? Why isnt physics on the judges panel? Did Ileke-Idi turn down an offer to be a judge, if not why isnt she there? Who are all these people you got on the panel what do they know about culture? |
Oga, why are you trying to get too technical na? Section 9 of the constitution: 9. (1) The National Assembly may, subject to the provision of this section, alter any of the provisions of this Constitution. As long as the stipulated provisions are met, NASS may alter (Amend) any provision of the constitution.
.....true, except that the provisions of that section is an enumeration of power to the people and the land. Again, NASS is a facilitator, nothing more! Please look in that section again you will see a double contradictions where in an attempt to acquire power for NASS, the writers inadvertently disposessed it of power. Similar to the way they gave a power they meant exclusively for NASS to CBN governor. Quite honestly I am sad that they will change the constitution and block all those loopholes. ![]() |
Biafrans, where you all at?? Its time for you to go defend the land of Israel....time for you to carry arms in the name of zion, your ancestry, and show your warrior skills. . yeye fools ![]() |
Chief wazabanga, ![]() Read the constitution again, specifically on the constitutional amendment. NASS does not have the power to change the constitution. They are responsible for facilitating a conference for review but there is no power given to them to change the people's document. So erase your slate and start from beginning....... |
Which man is acquiring land on his own soil? I thought Tinubu's soil is somewhere in Osun state, please correct me if I am wrong, where is Tinubu's family compound (agbo ile) in lagos?
...hahaha Hausa get hin own Sharia commonwealth Ibo get hin own Biafra commonwealth Yoruba get hin iwn Oodua commonwealth. Which one be dis Osun you dey talk, me no understand am. |
gilmaro: .Nope, iboman is a Biafran. Are you not aware that FRB was declared sovereign on November 5th? Read where I said "its difficult to separate iboman oncerns/views from hatred". |
gbanikiti: and you see nothing wrong with it my friend? Na wa o! If tinubu acquires all the land in lagos, what would be left for people like you and other native lagosians? I can't believe you just wrote this! How many former lagos state governors have acquired so much lands like Tinubu? And you see nothing wrong with it because its his state? What a shame!....if we allow foreigners to acquire land occupancy with no qualms, i dont see why we should restrict a son of the soil. |
The above posts shows that you people are yet to leave the caves, for the urban region of civilized democratic process. What we are talking about is the process of amending the constitution. This is not the time to be in opposition, but to work together to improve our young democracy. You'll only have yourselves to blame when the amended constitution emerges and you do not like its effects on your interests.
...whattt! In the history of Nigerian constitutional amendments Yorubas have facilitated interpretations for its legal jargons. We are never unaware of its trappings and double contradictions...make that triple! ![]() |
felifeli: Once again and in typical fashion the Ibo have the global monopoly of wisdom and the Ibo point of view is paramount. I doff my hat at this gargantuan arrogance. Ndigbo I salute you.ohh really! ..we shall see when constitution come out and there is new definitions around domiciliary laws . |
We ve been telling you all along....but you are so locked into fulani herding problems you fail to see the light. Tinubu is okay.....nithing wrong with him. |
No afam, they will drop food aid from it. lmao! yeye addict! |
![]() Tell Nigerian Army that Yorubaland is a no-fly zone for their choppers, lest they be mistaken for an airbone enemy combatant. |
Ohhh, the article is good reference for his title but did you miss where he is referred as the "leader of ACN"? ACN exist because of a need to "sustain a center", if the center dissapears ACN will fold with it......and so does Tinubu. Tinubu is our "status quo troubleshooter", and that should be another honorary title if yiu care. Tinubu, the "sqt" of Yorubaland.. |
You people are not sober and are definitely not ready for democracy. When NASS amends the constitution in a manner which perpetuates the status quo, do not return here to complain. While it may not be fashionable for you all to publicly criticize SW leaders and especially your god(he said so), Tinubu, I am convinced that you agree with what I am saying and wish your leaders took a different course of action on this matter.
......as long the constitution does not interfere with our interpretation of the customary laws of our land, we will help you sustain the status quo. None of us has spoken with tongue in cheek on this issue of land and people. |
Are you a Nigerian? If Tinubu, the Agba-Akin Adinni of Ijeshaland, the Chief Anosare Bugije of Ondo Kingdom, the Erelu Aare Ago of Egbaland, the Asiwaju of Lagos and the Jagaban Borgu, is not considered THE leader in the SW and the mouthpiece of the SW, then no one else qualifies for the duty.
hahahaha, ........ which one be Agba Akin Adinni? Anosa what do you even know what erelu symbolze? I hereby turban ndu_chucks the "kukuwenu wazabanga" of Yorubaland. . |
Ndu_chucks, You are one troublemaker! ![]() Listen......regionalism or not, Arewa already divested itself from the center. They are no longer listening to Aso or looking to it for decision making. The Emirates are piloting and steering the Arewa boat. Biafra also divested itself from the center on Nov 5th. BZM and MASSOB are guiding the way forward for the Igbos. So I don't understand.......what did you say was wrong with Tinubu again? ![]() Hey, dont let the cows chew your ID card, you gonna need it when you cross the border at Mokwa. ![]() |
nagoma: An Taba Waasa da uwa?Hmm, babban magana! Wadansu basu da tarbiya ga iyaye n su, balle su dauakawa iyayen jamaa. Question from nagoma: is it ever wise to belittle the mother? From Negro: hmm, word of wisdom! Some people have no honor for their own parents, much less obeisance to that of others. |
I will be the floor troubleshooter. |
^^^Can you explain further please; Lagos is home to ALL Nigerians who pay school fees for their kids, set up businesses and pay taxs there.....so why do you reckon it's only Yorubas that should be interested in and have a right to voice their opinions about how the states resources are in the pockets of one individual, and how the state gov't is being run by proxy in the name of godfatherism? Don't you know that if gov't tenders were opened up to a fairer competitive process, the state gov't could make more savings from contracts and sales, and more individuals will get opportunities that are presently being greedily coveted by one man?.....this in turn would lead to either lower taxes or larger state revenue?
....it's difficult to separate your concern from your hatred. How much of similar concerns have you shown to address the nonsense your Eastern givernors are doing? Charity begins at home.....practice and effect transformative "concerns" in the eastern nugerian territory before you bring it acrosss the border into Yoruba nation. |
........and guess what, we dont care if he acquires the land. You should be crying foul if his land acquisitiin is in Umuahai, but its not! So whats your heartache. The man is acquiring land on his own soil. |
@op, What did you say happe to Tinubu? |
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Rajiun. Rest in Peace!! |
Rotflmao!!! zees is ahwsome.....killasic! ![]() |
Baby mama: Erm,not trueThese are actually igbo voices masquerading as Yoruba voices in alaigbo in effort to give seemingly an ethnic footprint that is in reality not present. I know of ifeanyi and obinna in Kano who for sake of dodging Hausa blood thirst became yoruba overnight and started answering to salami and adebola. Na today wey igbo dey play multiple identities?
|
In Yoruba nation if yourr roots ascendancy does not lead up to Ife, you are outside the indigene/settler bracket. You are a migrant/refugee |
