berem: Rochester Garden at 41 road? Am not surprised.dem suppose don close that place since.a place where fraudsters hide to operate henious crimes.Berem, that club is owned by an igbo, is it not? |
berem: what have you and your family gained from the reintergration? Are you better off now as a nigerian? Don't you ever dream of having Odua as a nation? What has been the situation of the country since Gowon and Awolowo reintergrated Nigeria? Has it been better or worse? If we created a Yoruba nation would you become a Yoruba citizen? |
_chucks, I wish to speak on behalf of Igbos on this topic. It is an insult to tell a bona fide member of the nation that the rights of belonging taken away from them has been paid back with consolation appointments in federal bureaus. This open up a dialogue on rights of congression and assembly. What paercentage of the country is owned by each constituting group or ethnic bloc? What index of measurement or social factor (historicals included) should guide the apportionement of the proprietary rights....is it population, land mass, manpower and productivity, the treaties and agreements with Britain, natural resources ?What gives entitlement to some and denies it to others in an assembly of people such as ours? Who determines the orderliness and social organizing for the society and where is the source stream of the creed and morals by which the standards are cut? Plenty of questions to ask..... |
Good point but listen, our problem is not lack of ideas, its not about population or poverty....we simply dont have the recipe with which to form a perfect union for progress. We are stuck in the middle, cant advance a united conscience and refused to wind down and, or perhaps fear a return to, reset the past we left behind. |
Ngodigha: Why start this idiotic thread to divert the attention of people from the justice that has been served to that mass murderer-Shuwa.Baboon, step aside. ![]() |
pDude:I dey wait for my igbo ppl to see that comment. ![]() |
ROSSIKE: I've always wondered about this rarely mentioned aspect of the Biafran War.Gej would still be shoeless if Ojukwu had won. We all trully need to see and applaud the vision of Gowon and Awolowo in reintegrating the nation. |
The people of the coast are the rightful and proprietary owners of the name "Biafra". Biafra was coined from bight of Biafra. Alaigbo has no presence on the waters forming this bight. The name itself Biafra was given by European sailors to denote the midsection belt of Africa.....Bi-Afra. |
I bet you if you dig into this the whole katakata was started by an igbo man. Igbo people love wahala too much. troublesome ppl... |
....code word for you have no counter point. |
bashr8: ignorance is common among yorubas so whateverShutup!! yeye ![]() |
Go to this thread and the second or third post is the copy of Lagos treaty. Read it as a background into the max plank legal opinion. You also have links on other treaties. Cover these documents for thorough understanding. ....and it will become clear to you why of all the people who were parties in the creation of this nation, whether before or after 1906, the Igboman is on the bottom rung of the list of those qualified to question legitimacy of Yoruba in Nigeria. https://www.nairaland.com/1062509/nigeria-good-bad-beautiful-ugly Also, http://www.waado.org/urhobohistory/nigerdelta/colonialtreaties/ItsekiriTreaties/EditorsIntroduction.html http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benin_Expedition_of_1897 Also a timeline summary http://woyingi./nigerian-history/ |

I want you to visit this link and read the article. I will bring you the Lagos treaty and they you can visit waado website online and read about other coastal treaties....Benin expedition, the Itsekiri treaty, the Opobo treaty. We will talk after you are sober. http://www.mpil.de/ww/en/pub/research/details/publications/institute/wcd.cfm?fuseaction_wcd=aktdat&aktdat=217000000400.cfm |
Obiagu1: From your argument, we can talk about amalgamation of Opobo, amalgamation of Edoland, Igboland, Efikland, Hausaland, etc after all they were all added to the British colonial empire.Lmao.... Obiagu, you are crafty. Playing with words to squeeze in and out of dead end positions. Did I hear you say all these lands were added to the "British Colonial Empire"? There is a document I will bring to you shortly. With a slight difference this document is a replica of similar documents of treaties with the coastal Kings. It is sealed on the honor of the Crown monarch, who in that time happened to be Queen Victoria. The Royal Niger Company was also on commission and in service to the seal of the monarch. All its territories were domain under the sovereingty of the Crown. So whether you were acquired, purchased, rented, amalgamated, merged, coupled, fabricated......it is immaterial to the goal and intent of the British Empire to pool all resources into one managable bucket of administrative control. Why does it mattrr to you who was purchased and who was a free man.....we were all shackled and dispossessed. I have some revelations to bring to you. I dont know what you are reading but you are a stark illiterate when it comes to the history of the foundings. First i will share this document and allow you time to soak it in. Go to the Edo website ....matter of fact, hold on! |
.....stoopid yanmiri people, confused and conflicted. One day hausa is your enemy, next day yoruba is plotting your betrayal, the day after fulani hates you.......now ijaw and coastal people are haunting you. Stoopid monkeys....i want Fashola to give me power over Lagos for one month so i can show you pepper. yeye people ![]() |
Do not soil Alhaji Monguno's name...please, i beg you. He's a decent and honorable man. . |
The Monguno name has never been linked to anything shady in the history of this country.....so calm down with this spiderweb spin and regain your senses. |
....reports are coming in that some of these girls already don arrive for Lagos. Na wah o! |
I think you all jumped too quick to attack his statement that it is not his responsibility. First, the governor 's statement came out wrongly. In truth, the responsibility to secure the state rests with FG. Lets not forget that Gej declared state of emergency and that status has not been lifted so FG is completely responsible to bring calm. Fashola would have said the same thing this governor said in a more humane and civil way. This where we should draw differentiation.....there are governors and there are GOVERNORS! ![]() |
I think this condition that the leader, Shekau must be present at the meeting was not thought through. FG should refrain from any moves or approach that narrows down on factors early on. At moment the options are broad....and they should respond broadly to it. Boko should be the one making demands and not the FG. The presence of Shekau will come later, without the demand he will present himself if FG plays its hand appropriately. FG should use a third party as mouthpiece to praise the boko's effort and laud their interest in peace. This mouthpiece should then offer to serve as host or observer in the negotiation. By all means, FG must refrain from direct demands...particularly on individuals. That will trvialize and turn the negotiation into personal vendatta. |
May his soul rest in peace. |
Who are these people trying to fool? Thats a choreographed abduction to explain away why the Nov 5th will not hold. |
mr Globe, you better lobby strongly that it doesnt happen...otherwise you will go to bed one night and calculating to be in alaba next day but Negro go load you into bole kaja on a one way trip to abakalaki. ![]() |
Obiagu1: None British "government" or none crown land were acquired not amalgamated. Niger Coast Protectorate final boarder line was drawn in 1900 and no amalgamation with other protectorates had taken place......you are looping back to that analogy of Tobey again. Acquired, amalgamated, protectorate, ....big deal! The whole land was fvkd up and thats the bottom line. |
PhysicsQED: Obiagu, the issue here seems to be the extent of the Niger Coast Protectorate vs. the extent of the protectorate of Southern Nigeria. I seem unable so far to convince you that the Niger Coast Protectorate was originally rather limited in extent before the 1900 amalgamation so here is yet another source:Physics, You saved him tonight. I was laying a treacherous trap for him. Im not sure the cowboy has yet to make connections with "protectorate" and treaties with the coastal kings. As is usual, he is lost in the mirage of a "virtual" state status bestowed on Alaigbo, courtesy of the amalgamation and a newly named geolocation called Nigeria. Igboman flaunting to define who is Nigerian and who is not. Obiagu, dont open this can bwoy...it will unveil your irrelevance in the foundation of this nation. |
I wanna be Lagos governor for just one month.......just one month babe! Ekene dili chuckwu go make more profit that one month....... shuttling full load out and returning empty for more load......than they have made the past five christmas. I no joke Repatriation of the baboon nation under my watch. |
