RomanceThe Next Civil Rights Debate In America.....polygamy by NegroNtns(op): 8:17am On Nov 13, 2012
I have not been in romance section for over a year. Where is my brother debosky, una don fire am? cheesy

Anyway, Im here for two reasons.
1. To alert men of their social responsibility and the need to fight for it.
2. To tell married men that do dishes and mop floor that they are fvked up.

On 1, the gays got their right to fvck men, I dont know why my right to fvck women is being denied in America. We are going to fight all the way to supreme court to get back what God has ordained as our birth right. When a new baby is born, it is turned over to peek between the legs for the p r i c k. It is either present or it is not. The presence of a p ri c k is a birth right. It has no name written on it, which would make it open ownership. So why is America limiting its posession to the wife only? grin

We will collect signatures to get this ball rolling. Trust me, we have world renowned and big name sponsors....Clinton, Berlusconi, John Edwards, Spitzer, Abacha and many many more......particularly now that Petraus has crossed over, the sky is the limit. grin

Ok now on 2,......to all you guys that wear apron and run water to clean dirty dishes or sweep and mop floor, mechionu. angry
PoliticsRe: Lagos Accounts For 65% Of Nigeria's Non Oil GDP - Fashola by NegroNtns(m): 7:16am On Nov 13, 2012
....here is what i dont get.

In the whole of Nigeria there is no single market, not even Kurmi market in Kano, that can parallel the production, earnings and consumtion of Ereko market in Lagos. Ereko extends from Idumota, right by the cenotaph of the unknown soldier all the way west and to Oluwole to Bristol hotel by Taiwo Olowo and Broad street, cut it north to Balogun street to border with Olowogbowo, Oke Arin and Ebute Ero. This is the larger Ereko market and business district. Ereko is to Lagos what Lagos is to Nigeria, period!

It has representation of all ethnic groups, not to mention foreigners like Turks and Lebanese (courtesy of Shitta-Bey) and Britons.

The old Kingsway, Leventis, David Copperfield, PZ, UAC, SCOA, GBO......each and every one of these corporations had its store/warehouse/depot/showroom or whatever presence they can install right inside Ereko or immediately outside its border zone.

What do you want......is it lace, jewelries, damask, perfume and incense, foreign currency, salt, kolanuts, palm oil, groundnut oil, meat and seafood, imports, domestic....name it, Ereko got it!

There are traders who live as far away as Ibadan, Akure, Epe, Ikenne, Offa, Bini, .....Cotonu, Lome....who bring in their market goods very early monday morning and set up shop before sunrise and are out heading back home by Thursday evening to go prepare more goods to bring in following Monday morning. How do they make it? A very vibrant exchange, the best African model for market supply chain.

The farmer in village gets the vegetables and the fruits and crops packaged in wholesale units. The porters pick it up and deliver to a depot in or close by a motor garage. The trader arrives at the garage late Sunday night or early dawn Monday morning depending on distance. She supervises the loading and securing of her produce onto the haulage lorry and ready to go.

Monday morning when trader arrives, her staff and porters are on location in Ereko to offload, sort, package and price items at retail rates. There is no where better to witness this dramatization than in Ebute Ero market

Now who captures all the hours and factors of production that are spent as key value input (kvi) for this chain of market exchange?
You'll make an excellent Spinmeister!!! cheesy I'll seek you out when I put my resources on a good candidate for one office or the other, come 2015.
Well, thats a confirmation that I need to run a political consultancy...I got about 5 such feedback in past two weeks. cool

Hey man, let's look at this issue critically, you know this issue of 65% that Fashola talked about.

In a strictly capitalist economy nobody gives a da.m.n about moral considerations or pity, you are either productive or you are not and the more efficient you are the higher you are rewarded. This is the marketing edge that businesses seek. Nigeria is not a totally capitalist society, we are more socialist than we are willing to admit.

So our economy system is fluid, where in certain sector of the economy we have aggressively capitalist operations like finance and telecomms for instance. There is no forgiveness in these sectors. The gdp reports from NBS are generated from formula and indices that spin out numbers which to a high degree skews the non-capitalist components of the economy. The NBS statisticians and their National Planning Commission counterparts have not done due dilligence to give a formula and index in their report that will truly mirror and match part for part the actual output in the society.

If they will give us a Nigerian gdp index, instead of a "copied standard" designed for use in a strictly capitalist system of economy then all the aspects and factors of our production, earnings or income as well as consumption will help in strategizing anti-poverty programmes and I guarantee you, it will equally prove once and for all that we have a comparable or better per capita income than a country like USA.

The gdp calculation we use is one that serve us disadvantageously and it devalues our currency and keep us in perpetual debt, precisely where IMF wants us to be in.

I have a lot to say but no time...gotta go for now, more later.

Op,
prostrate cancer is a disease for the people of Europe and America and others elsewhere who follow their matrimonial lifestyle and belief that a man must not have more than one woman. When a man lives the African way he might suffer from a heart attack once in a while, particularly if he goes in bed with a girl his daughter's age, but other than that he will live free of prostate for his entire life. He doesnt need all this recipe or regimen in the article, he just need to do the right thing.

Americans should learn from Clinton....prostrate free but almost lost his heart fvcking around with Monica and that other ugly thing in Arkansas, i forgot her name.
PoliticsThe Population Count Of Enugu Will Be Challenged. by NegroNtns(op): 6:00pm On Nov 12, 2012
The next census return will be challenged if it comes back with a million headcount for Enugu, there are no more than few thousands people in Enugu. This video tells a lot.

A cultural parade is a celebration of life and society and is a gathering of community and their leaders to share with one another and visitors the legacy and pride of their land and people.

In this video is a cultural parade in Enugu of ancestral legacy showcasing masquerades. I can imagine how much money they spent to put this together. Where is the audienece and spectators, why are the stands empty and the streets on both sides is empty of people, no one is trooping out to welcome and watch this parade. huh

Masquerades is a popular thrill for children in particular to watch. Where are the children of Enugu? Igboland is dried out!

passion007: Is a thread like this even allowed to exist? Smh
Yes...it raises awareness on all sides. Incrementally ibos are agitating for positions in Yorubaland which by tradition they are not qualified to have. They know this and the agenda is a broad brush approach commonly used in political tactics to push opponent far beyond the border line of normalcy and force them to a new normal dictated by the aggressor where through intimidation they begin to yield their legacy positions and institutions to the aggressor.

This post is not tribalistic or bigotry...it is a very good post and i love it. Contrary to what most people say, nl is free of bigotry and tribalism.
You don't need to dispute my sentence about Kano. Reread my post and response to ekt_bear and you'll see why. My main point is that Fashola's 65% is bogus.
My brother,

We are forgetting the objective of measuring gdp. The root aim of gdp is not boast of wealth but to assess the level of poverty and quality of living. I shall come to that later.

We also forget that Fashola us a politician and not an economist or statistician. As all true politicians do, they speak to the party base. Fashola's message that Lagos contributes 65% of non-oil gdp is not untrue.

I looked at the activity sector of table 1 in your linked data from NBS and its a shame how they skewed productive outputs. Look at the numbers for non air, non water transportaion services for example. Would you say thats a true output? In Lagos alone over a quarter million bodies are transoorted per day by molue, danfo, bolekaja, okada, and so on and what's worse.....every one of them is a consumer at the gas pump. This is where fair assessment or forecast sc.r.ew the results and blind us from truly knowing where we are in terms of social poverty.

manny4life: What difference does it make, forecast or actual?

Besides, who on this thread was talking about actual? huh huh huh huh huh

Please, produce your calculations that's shows otherwise.

On that note, I thought when forecasting, you make fair assumptions?
Manny,

The reports you are reading use production output from all sectors to measure the aggregate gdp. To get a true picture of the economic state gdpperformance is distributed over a range of years. The national budget is issued on the contingency of historical performance in economic sectors. So that the expected oil output for 2013 is already known but the revenue may not be realized for another three years or more, after which it is trued-up and adjusted into the "real gdp". The output numbers in ndu_chucks table left out plenty of information and facts to correctly support his claim against edoyad's post and Fashola's statement.

You are not thoroughly groomed and grounded in the interpretation and meaning of what he presented....you bought into the data table being from a genuine source and so the facts of it is unchallengable.

You are trying to appear smart with your response and is quite evident how you quickly made it a Negro vs the rest of the respondents. I want you to stand on your own knowledge if you want to showcase your smartness.

Hey chucks.....You are at it again, aren't you? If you remove oil sector Lagos state will contend with FG on gdp....Kano is far behind. I have a report you should see, in fact....Im certain you have seen it and true to your bias viewpoint you deny the obvious.

PoliticsRe: Indigeneship Clause Causes Uproar At Public Hearing by NegroNtns(m): 4:58pm On Nov 11, 2012
The distinction between Nigeria and Yorubaland is not lost on us. In matter of indigeneship, Yoruba is a patrilineal society and identity is via family name through the father's blood. Yoruba ancestry traces up to Ile-Ife, not to Nigeria. Therefore Yoruba indigeneship is Ife ancestry. If your patrilineal ancestry cannot be traced to Ife you need to go find your indigeneship beyond the borders of Yorubaland.
