Offpoint1:Yesterday, i priced the dollar with those Allen Abokis to 565!!!. It means worse days are still ahead. In essence, people should brace up for further rise in the cost of services and commodities. About that Plumber, i have no iota of pity for him. His myopic, dogmatic, archaic mindset still tells him that his girl children are worthless abi? Ruth was considered better than 7able bodied men put together. Here in Naija, we still reckon with oby Ezekwesili, late Dora Akunyili, Genevieve, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala etc who are themselves 10men put together. |
Eat junk all the time |
paymentvoucher:The government has ceased to surprise me. Rather it is stewpid citizens like you and I that make me cringe. What in hell are we doing? Can't we just send this conscience-dead government packing prematurely? Must we wait till they mummify us against our will? |
Johnholmes:Pls when did nairaland become a hospital? Granting a prescription, especially no.2, in this manner is downright unethical. Rather, signpost op in the direction of a secondary or tertiary health facility. |
First remove the log in your eye before the spec in another person's eye. |
Crush ke? Na today we begin hear such misyarn? Buhari, abeg park well - you are nothing but a toothless bull dog. |
KaluwisxPRO:Funny enough, this appears to be one strategic non violent way to get rid of the vampires and buffoons in power. |
Pardon me, but has the fight against corruption started? Because all I see is padi padi |
He is obviously power drunk to the point where the boundaries of fundamental human rights has suddenly become blurred. I hope he has some loose change to spare as litigations would soon start pouring in. |

mightyhaze:Please state the gift. Is it of the rod of correction or the staff that can part any red sea? |
This season, arsenal is surely going to finish outside of the top 10. They were simply out classed. My worry is for Chelsea though, because I hope the opportunities they missed to garner an intimidating goals aggregate wouldn't come back to haunt them in future. This is the reason I duff my hat for Pep. He arms himself with a guillotine on every match day and doesn't hesitate to deploy it on days such as this. Ideally today's match score should have read 0 - 11. |
Kizo5:I don't know why I have this feeling that you are trying to be an alarmist. I am also guessing that next link will hover around "dangers of drinking too much water" |
Mediocrity salutes mediocre. Sorry state of our nation. |
Sorry for your ordeal sis, but wake up and smell the coffee - NAIJA IS ROTTEN TO THE MARROW AND BEYOND REDEMPTION. |
This is a welcome development. It's better the PDP makes it very obvious to Nigerians that they are not an alternative to APC in 2023. Nigerians should seek and vote a different and new set of people. |
For me, there are loads of them. Some of which are: "You're too faithful to disappoint me" - Bliss "If not for You, where will I be today" - Frank Edwards "Nothing is beyond You" - Songs from the Book "You have done more than I want/things have turned around for me" - Nath Bassey (Olowo gbogboro) "You are God from beginning to the end, there's no place for argument, You are God all by Yourself"- Nath Bassey "You're the tone of Power, and the key of Honour, filled with Glory, Lord You are my song" - Uncle Fred Hammond And much more... |
temitope27:57 is on my mind though. Congrats to him anyways. At least, he brings good memories. |
Nigerians and rubbish. Why is he pre-empting a rightful probe with a prejudiced retrospective experience? |
The part I am yet to understand is Abba Kyari's refusal to go the US on an all expenses paid trip. This is the prayer of quite a number of Nigerians "Lord, pls give me US visa", yet Abba turns it down. Las las, this world no balance. |
Spot on! Come to think of it If all adherents of whatever religion were to place more premium on common sense than on their dogmatic creed, this world would definitely be a better place for all of us. For one, I don't know if the dude in Aso rock is a breathing mannikin, one thing I know for sure is that his mission is to make the lives of Nigerians miserable, to the delight of his cousins in Niger. |
This is one of the developments we should be concerned with in this country, not forgetting electric cars, , stable electricity, well maintained infrastructures, adequate security, diversified and bouyant economy, revised and all encompassing constitution, amongst other things. Instead, with the black hearts that a lot of those in government possess, their priority lies with Twitter ban, Hisbah madness/hypocrisy (banning alcohol on one hand, yet collecting VAT accrued on the other, the mannikin-immoral thought disconnect), gagging the media, brainless connection of progressive ideas with alleged assault on the state religion - so called religion of piss (pardon my fingers) ie the black Friday thingy, proscription of IPOB, yet giving free rein to killer herdsmen............ Let me just stop here. I am not about to acquire the anointing of Prophet Jeremiah. |
Mehn, this guy is in deeper shit. Guess he kept up his conversation in Yoruba, oblivious that his line was tapped and a translator was on hand to transcript. Bottom line - if you can't do the time, then don't do the crime. |
The geriatric clown of the Buhari administration is at his usual best yet again. His logic is akin to saying that the Toyota corporation is liable for all vehicular accidents involving any of their products in Nigeria. Smh |
While the ever vindictive MURIC is entitled to their opinion, they weren't entitled to a response. I am unhappy that the Primate dignified them with one. |
Abeg, i am not looking for trouble, but how did twitter communicate their intention to dialogue with you Sir? Via Twitter? |
F'emi (pardon me if I didn't refer to you as Honorable), you reek of collosal incompetence judging from what you just vomited. Why did you say that you needed to know the exact stance of the executive on this ban issue? Weren't you elected to protect the people's interest ONLY? since when did executive interest matter to you, being an independent arm of power? Or is there something you are not telling us - that you guys are no longer independent? You quoted Kipling, but ironically, you seem to have lost your head too. |
June 8, 1998 remains indelible in my mind. I was a 200L undergraduate at the time and was studying some topics after regular lecture hours. Suddenly, i heard some loud shouts reverberating all over the campus. First thing that came to my mind was "are these cultists at each other's throats again?". Curiosity got the better of those of us who were studying at the time, causing us to leave our books to head for the balcony and find out what the uproar was all about. As soon as we heard that the tyrant in Chief, the head of State at the time - General Sani Abacha, had suddenly kicked the bucket, first we couldn't believe our ears. Next we were elated as if springs of joy burst open in our bellies. We couldn't contain the excitement. While some of us began making melody with the metal railings of the balcony, others raced downstairs for the gardens to join the bigger celebrations. The rest is history now. Point is, I had waited patiently to see if anyone would make mention of this malevolent dictator but none did. It goes without saying that the best part of living is in creating and leaving a good impression in the minds of whoever you meet. There can never be an Abacha day because of all the evil he unleashed on the land to the point that there was nationwide celebration at his passing. This present administration had better amend her ways before they receive the Abacha treatment. So, for you, how did you receive the news of Abacha's demise? Do you hope same fate befalls the vampires in this administration? Vent your thoughts |
Savage Its cool this is coming from his age mate, before children like us are considered as "ọmọ kọ mọ" |
A typical case study for "no go dey do pass ya self" |
Dear op, temporal and temporary are two different words with different meanings. Temporary means brief, while temporal refers to earth in terms of beings, physical existence, etc. Opposite of temporary is permanent, while spiritual is for temporal. |
So this old demented man is still talking, after squandering a precious 8years that should have served as a turning point for Naija. Why did he allow sharia? He had the power to crush it but his greed for the pecks of his office blinded him. I pray that killer herdsmen/bandits/UGM pay him a visit ASAP so he can have a taste of the national poison they produced. |
