Even as a single guy when I check my weekly, the zeal to work just die off. It's like a rat race.

Imagined big closeup toothpaste of N150 few years ago is now N500.

Last one I bought a month ago was at N350, and N500 yesterday.

My neighbour wife delivered twins last week Friday, both girls... These are people with 5 kids already, all girls. I guess they were seeking for boys, since that Friday husband has not returned home
I was weeping for the man, a plumber for that matter.

Yesterday, i priced the dollar with those Allen Abokis to 565!!!. It means worse days are still ahead. In essence, people should brace up for further rise in the cost of services and commodities.

About that Plumber, i have no iota of pity for him. His myopic, dogmatic, archaic mindset still tells him that his girl children are worthless abi? Ruth was considered better than 7able bodied men put together. Here in Naija, we still reckon with oby Ezekwesili, late Dora Akunyili, Genevieve, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala etc who are themselves 10men put together.

U may be having pseudomembranous colitis due to abuse of antibiotics.
Now the treatment is :
-1 go to a big well established pharmacy

-2.Buy vancomycin and take 1 tab 4 times daily for 10 days to kill d bacteria ( clostridium difficult has most likely taken over ur gut.

-3.ask for a good gut probiotic and take it as prescribed on the leaflet to grow back ur normal bacterial flora.

Pls when did nairaland become a hospital?
Granting a prescription, especially no.2, in this manner is downright unethical.
Rather, signpost op in the direction of a secondary or tertiary health facility.

Truth be told, every sector needs to go on strike, including PHCN.

This government is setting up every agency against the people, whereas they’re the brains behind the policies.

Reasons why Resident doctors (NARD) hardly achieve anything when they go on strike.
1. They are not a labour group, resident doctors under the aegis of National Association of Resident Doctors are not members of any Labour Union, neither Trade Union Council nor Nigerian Labour Congress, hence they lack the negotiating powers of a trade union and the larger labour unions don't help them in solidarity during impasse or industrial actions.
2. They are under tutelage and not really major employees of federal government unlike consultants, NARD consists of doctors that are undergoing a learning process called residency towards becoming consultants in various medical fields (though they are the ones that do most medical jobs in Nigerian hospitals), this was what the labour minister Dr. Chris Ngige used against them the last time they went on strike, he simply told CMDs that the students have abandoned their schooling and they should find other students to take up the learning process. Fashola also did same during one of their numerous strikes in Lagos, he simply called for intake of new residents and they quickly returned to work.
3. For reasons I don't understand, their consultants do not support them.

This season, arsenal is surely going to finish outside of the top 10.
They were simply out classed.
My worry is for Chelsea though, because I hope the opportunities they missed to garner an intimidating goals aggregate wouldn't come back to haunt them in future.
This is the reason I duff my hat for Pep. He arms himself with a guillotine on every match day and doesn't hesitate to deploy it on days such as this.
Ideally today's match score should have read

The part I am yet to understand is Abba Kyari's refusal to go the US on an all expenses paid trip. This is the prayer of quite a number of Nigerians "Lord, pls give me US visa", yet Abba turns it down.

This is one of the developments we should be concerned with in this country, not forgetting electric cars, , stable electricity, well maintained infrastructures, adequate security, diversified and bouyant economy, revised and all encompassing constitution, amongst other things.
Instead, with the black hearts that a lot of those in government possess, their priority lies with Twitter ban, Hisbah madness/hypocrisy (banning alcohol on one hand, yet collecting VAT accrued on the other, the mannikin-immoral thought disconnect), gagging the media, brainless connection of progressive ideas with alleged assault on the state religion - so called religion of piss (pardon my fingers) ie the black Friday thingy, proscription of IPOB, yet giving free rein to killer herdsmen............

Let me just stop here. I am not about to acquire the anointing of Prophet Jeremiah.

June 8, 1998 remains indelible in my mind.
I was a 200L undergraduate at the time and was studying some topics after regular lecture hours. Suddenly, i heard some loud shouts reverberating all over the campus. First thing that came to my mind was "are these cultists at each other's throats again?".
Curiosity got the better of those of us who were studying at the time, causing us to leave our books to head for the balcony and find out what the uproar was all about.
As soon as we heard that the tyrant in Chief, the head of State at the time - General Sani Abacha, had suddenly kicked the bucket, first we couldn't believe our ears. Next we were elated as if springs of joy burst open in our bellies. We couldn't contain the excitement. While some of us began making melody with the metal railings of the balcony, others raced downstairs for the gardens to join the bigger celebrations. The rest is history now.

Point is, I had waited patiently to see if anyone would make mention of this malevolent dictator but none did.
It goes without saying that the best part of living is in creating and leaving a good impression in the minds of whoever you meet.

There can never be an Abacha day because of all the evil he unleashed on the land to the point that there was nationwide celebration at his passing.

This present administration had better amend her ways before they receive the Abacha treatment.

So, for you, how did you receive the news of Abacha's demise?

Temporary means brief, while temporal refers to earth in terms of beings, physical existence,etc.
