Wristler:Only a person who is alive and living in peace can talk about job. If you are in doubt ask Libyans, Syrians and Yemenis about their major problem. GEJ has done wonderfully well with the Nigerian economy. |
slap1:Tell that to the judge. Only in Nigeria do criminals always blame everything else except themselve. |
Aisha: My Edo people , I know that you guys are jobless and your women are foremost international prostitutes. Aisha: APC.. ROBOTS: Change!!! Edo people: Thunder fire you and your husband. He shall cry again. |
Whenever any "news" emanate from APC it is important to cross-check because 99.9% of time they are lies. Now APC have "changed" tactics from fake news to fake pictures. A house built on falsehood don't last. |
The presidential campaign organisation of the Peoples Democratic Party has raised the alarm that the opposition All Progressives Congress is planning to plunge the nation into crisis because defeat is steering it in the face. Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP campaign, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, raised the alarm at a media briefing in Abuja, on Wednesday. Fani-Kayode said the PDP had uncovered a plot by the APC to destabilise the country as soon as its candidate, Maj. Gen.Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) loses the presidential election on March 28. According to Fani-Kayode, the APC has already set in motion its plan with the establishment of “APC Radio” or “Radio Chanji” which he said had been broadcasting falsehood, propaganda and inciting members of the public. “The objective of the radio station is to serve as a propaganda tool to fight the government after they lose the election on March 28,” he said. He named former governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, whom he said was the brain behind Radio Kudirat during the days of NADECO when the government of General Sani Abacha was being fought by a number of people in Nigeria, as the man behind the APC radio project. Fani-Kayode said, “The opposition know that they would lose the election and after this happens it is their intention to begin to use this illegal radio station to incite Nigerians against the government. “They seek to create mayhem and cause panic and create a toxic and bellicose atmosphere in which their supporters will be encouraged to slaughter and kill innocent Nigerians whilst the country burns. “They also intend to use the radio station to incite the armed forces to mutiny. They intend to create a major division and utter chaos within the Nigerian state, using religion and ethnicity, and they will take that opportunity to either call for full blown military intervention or the establishment of an Interim National Government. “It is through the auspices of this illegal radio station that they intend to announce members of their planned shadow and parallel government, to nominate their ministers and to then create major crisis in our country.” Calls to Fayemi’s telephone number were neither picked nor returned as of the time of this report. A text message sent to him was also not replied as of the time of filing this report at 7:45pm. However, the spokesman for the APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said he would not dignify Fani-Kayode’s speculations with a response. The PDP campaign also said that an APC insider exposed the opposition’s plots to the PDP out of patriotic zeal and commitment to Nigeria. source: http://www.punchng.com/news/weve-uncovered-plot-by-apc-to-cause-chaos-pdp/ |
voltron:Pictures or you are lying |
It is unfortunate that in this 21st century some 'learned' press people are listening to how a semi-literate "general" will protect their freedom. I ask why do we need to gamble with our freedom of speech which has been guaranteed 100% under GEJ ? Freedom of speech is our property , therefore Buhari can't dash us our right. |
The Defence headquarters Sunday disclosed that Air Force pounding of identified terrorists’ hideouts is continuing in some locations in Yobe and Borno States as part of ongoing campaign against terror. Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade in a statement said “Several sorties are being flown either in conjunction with ongoing ground assault by troops or to dislodge any concentration of terrorists as follow up to intelligence reports. “Simultaneous mopping up operations are also ongoing in the areas already operated upon by Nigerian Air Force have already been mopped up” he added. Also, Nigerian troops are currently battling Boko Haram terrorists in a determined bid to retake Damasak, a border town between Nigeria and Niger Republic. The battle for the retake of the town is being waged by Nigerian troops in conjunction with the Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF). Damasak is one of the boisterous border towns of Borno State, where farm produce like beans, pepper and tomatoes are produced in commercial quantity, close to Diffa in Niger Republic and was seized by the terrorists in November last year as part of Boko Haram campaign to create an illusory caliphate. Recall that Boko Haram terrorists attacked Damasak and Ashigarchi towns in Mobbar local government area of Borno in their hundreds killing over 50 persons in Damasak alone on November 15, 2014. The sect members according to military sources, drove in Hillux vans and motor bikes into the town burning vehicles, houses and forcing hundreds of residents to flee to the Cameroonian borders. Top security sources confirmed that the ongoing battle, which commenced hours ago has put a lie to reports last week that the town was recaptured by forces of a foreign country collaborating in the Multinational Joint Task Force. At least 14 people dead and dozens wounded in twin bombing targeting two churches in Lahore, police say. 15 Mar 2015 20:53 GMT | War & Conflict, Pakistan, Tehreek e-Taliban, Asia, Christianity Share via Facebook 2697 Share via Twitter 817Share via Reddit1All Social Listen to this page using ReadSpeaker EmailPrintSend Feedback STORY HIGHLIGHTS Pakistani Taliban (TTP) splinter group claims responsibility At least 14 people killed in simultaneous suicide bombings Attacks 'timed to cause maximum devastation' More than 70 people wounded the attacks Angry mob lynch at least one suspect at blast site At least 14 people have been killed and dozens more wounded in bombings targeting two churches in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore. A Punjab Police spokesperson told Al Jazeera that a Roman Catholic church and a Christ Church in Lahore's Youhanabad area were hit in Sunday's suicide attacks. At least 70 people were wounded, said Zahid Pervez, the provincial director general of health. Jamaat-ur-Ahrar, a Pakistani Taliban (TTP) splinter group, claimed responsibility for both the attacks. The group appeared to have timed the attacks to cause maximum devastation, as the two churches were packed with Christians attending Sunday services when the bombs went off. A spokesman for the faction said it was the work of two suicide bombers. "The Tehreek-e-Taliban Jamaat-ur-Ahrar accepts responsibility for the suicide attacks on the churches in Lahore," Ahsanullah Ahsan, a spokesman for the Taliban faction, said in a statement emailed to reporters. "We promise that until an Islamic system is put into place in Pakistan such attacks will continue. If Pakistan's rulers think they can stop us, they should try to do so," the statement added. One unidentified witness told Pakistan's Geo television that the main gate to one of the churches targeted was closed so people were using a smaller gate. "One bomber exploded himself near that gate, that created chaos and during the course there was another blast," he said. Irfan Ashraf, Lahore's deputy inspector-general of police operations, confirmed that a policeman and a private security guard were among the dead. He said they gave up their lives to stop the bombers from entering the churches. Suspect 'burned alive' In the tense aftermath of the bombings, angry mobs burned to death one person they believed was involved in the attack and tried to lynch another, said Haider Ashraf, deputy inspector general for Lahore. Local television footage showed an angry crowd beating a person they thought was connected to the attack, while others attacked buses in the city. Youhanabad is the country's biggest Christian locality, housing at least one million people. Lahore is the capital of Punjab, Pakistan's wealthiest province and the political heartland of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The city is generally considered peaceful compared to other areas of Pakistan but violence has been increasing after the government's failed attempts to hold peace talks with the Taliban last year. The Christian community in Pakistan has long been the target of blasphemy cases besides attacks and hate crimes carried out by armed groups within the country. In 2013 a pair of suicide bombers blew themselves up outside a historic church in Peshawar, killing more than 80 people and wounding at least 140 others. source:http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/03/lahore-churches-hit-deadly-bomb-attacks-150315074103093.html |
RickRichards:He is definitely behind GEJ, because no right thinking intelligent person will queue behind a semi-literate cert forger. So if you are a Buhari supporter , you need to take an IQ test ASAP. |
Controlled:SMH, please point out the issues in his speech . The man who had been running from debate pointed fingers at Jonathan administration and you called that issues based campaign, no it isn't , it is a continuation of APC propaganda ideology in which their only selling point is the number of Boko haram attacks taking place. One of this day Buhari will blame GEJ for his old age. |
Fashola claimed that he has delivered his promise to hand over Lagos treasury to Tinubu. Do you agree or disagree ? |
wakacome:Everybody is entitled to their opinion but not their "own" facts, try to be clear next time. |
This headline is misleading he can't be executed simply for stealing 10 Naira because "Mighty" and "Notorious" cannot be attached to someone who simply stole 10 Naira. Sensationalism at its worst. |

The wind of "change" is blowing away people's salaries. Nigerians beware! |
berem:Can you be more clear with your comments. How many of you were paid to carry out the attacks ? Note that the law will still catch up with you and your cohorts no matter how long you run and hide. APC - VIOLENCE |
wakacome:I doubt if you know the meaning of the word "history" or "better" |
So many ignorant post on this thread from those who understand nothing about the Yoruba culture. The OP made some conjecture about the meaning of a traditional practice and some people in their warped minds made themself authority on the subject. |
WisdomFlakes:Why dosn't you respond directly to his question : which part of the article did you find flaws ? If you won't do that it only means that you agree the points raised are valid but you are against it because it paints INEC in "bad light" |
Buhari has infected all APC members with violence and intolerance. You can't dine with the devil and remain clean. Nigerians should beware of the violent party. |
A master stroke from the progressive Obas. GEJ:PROGRESS |
Danhumprey:He meant poverty of the mind ![]() |
martyns303:I laugh at the highlighted. Most your arguments are based on self-defeating conjectures. Even if the girl has been to the boys house before , do you know for what purpose she went there. Assuming she went to the boys house for sex related reasons, do you think she just want to punish the guy for no reason. A safe guess based on your points here will be that the guy invited his friends and when the girl refused they forced themself on her which still constitutes a rape. I rest my case. Rest in prison to the offenders |
What else do you expect ? His doctors and Tinubu have advised him to avoid public appearance for the time being |
eleojo23:Don't mind that APC tie. Always creating fake scenarios to favor the semi-literate "general" |
gabriel212:Sentiments can freely be expressed by a TV or Radio station provided it is abased on facts which is the case. Any aggrieved person should go to court or remain silent forever. Moreover, people that can't stand criticism do not deserve leadership role. Many lies have been told about GEj for years now and I haven't heard of any court case against any media house. Up Freedom of speech. |
This is what happens when you take Buhari as your role model. If the matter is investigated further, we will find out that Ms Animan is a Buhari supporter because only him can bring desired change(Fake certs to Affidavits) to her life. |
martyns303:1)Firstly , your submission that the boy doesn't need magic to convince the girl to follow him is baseless because knowing someone facially doesn't equals trust even if they stayed in the same compound. 3)As to the prove of gangrape , while it appears that only the mastermind himself can exonerate his accomplices and I don't see him doing that because if he is going down he would have to draw his friends with him. Again , the accomplices will have to prove they were not at the location of the said rape at the particular time of the day the assault took place. 2)You will agree with me that three strong boys can easily force or threaten an SS1 girl to consume alcohol. 4) Your fourth argument is enough to jail the suspects, a girl under the influence of alcohol or drug cannot be deemed to have given any consent whatsoever , so it fits in with the narrative of the girl that she was raped. |
nzeobi:Buhari will suspend the constitution if elected, he can then "kick out" anybody who opposes him. God forbid! |
cyberdurable:May I introduce to you the most senseless poster on Nairaland. |
dedons:According to the law , a minor cannot give a consent , therefore, this is a pure case of rape and it is punishable under the law. |
