makzeze:You cannot intimidate Nigerians by making attempt on the president's life. Come failbuhari 14, the indomitable Nigerians will vote massively for GEJ |
Kororugged:What is better, being a sheep to Buhari and Tinubu or to the common good ? |
NgeneUkwenu:Why do you rejoice when Boko haram kill Nigerians, but sad when the table is turned. Those who use the dead bodies of our heroes as campaign points have no shred of humanity in them. |
What an unbalanced article! , punch took their time to cite examples from PDP camp but neglected those of APC. Who is fooling who. Contract journalism. |
dennismukoro:Your post highlights the danger of following the semi-literate one, it deprive one of its ability to construct correct logical sentences. Say no to certificateless "general" |
BY OLASUNKANMI,AKONI & MONSUR and OLOWOOPEJO Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, faulted claims by the Federal Government of revamping the Nigerian Railways, saying “despite the noise made, there was nothing on ground.” Meantime, Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu, has urged the new Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, Mr. Joseph Mbu and other security officials in Lagos state to be above board in their duties during and after the general elections. The duo made the remarks when the APC Presidential team took advantage of the presidential rally in the state to pay a courtesy visit to Akiolu in his palace at Lagos Island of the state. Buhari said: “A lot of noise is being made about Nigerian Railways, but there is nothing on ground. Kabiyesi, these are some of the problems—insecurity, economy imbalance and corruption—identified by the APC. “These problems have virtually denied Nigeria the opportunity to improve other social services like education and healthcare.” Buhari continued, “Infrastructure is another structure that helps to bring industries back that will create employment. And if elected, we will complete the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to Ilorin. “The monies we realised from anti-corruption campaign will be adequately used to improve education in the country. “One of the legacies we can leave for this generation is good education, if that is done most people will look after themselves.” Source : http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/buhari-tasks-jonathan-railwayshow-us-proof/ I think Buhari needs a lens replacement in order to see well; old-age symptoms |

I support Jonathan because he believes in Nigeria’s unity — IBB In this interview, former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, clarifies his position on his statement suggesting that he is in support of the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan. Babangida also speaks on the murder of Dele Giwa in 1986, the Interim National Government, ING, Sani Abacha’s coup and the loss of his long time companion and wife, Maryam. Aired last Wednesday on Channels TV, the interview was an episode in the current affairs programme, STWK (Straight Talk With Kadaria), anchored by Kadaria Ahmed. Excerpts: Do you support President Jonathan’s attempt at re-election? Firstly, I appreciate the fact that he came to visit me and, during our discussion, I found him to be a man who believes in the unity of this country and I did allude to that and I said I found him to be someone who has a very strong belief about the unity of this country. Those of us who fought the civil war – I still carry a bullet so I have a permanent reminder in me – anything that relates to Nigeria’s unity, we get impassioned about it. So what I said is that the President believes in the unity of this country and any other person who believes in the unity of this country should support the President to keep this country one. source: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/support-jonathan-believes-nigerias-unity-ibb/ |
We don't give a damn about what the constitution says, we have imposed you and Nigerians have no choice - Tinubu |
DaBullIT:What was his achievements ? Just jailing will not develop any country. Please tell me a country which achieved proper development just by jailing. We all know the answer is power decentralization, not some re-branded dictator. |
Tinubu is releasing tidbits of what's going on in his mind. His rule by proxy dream will not work. |
donphilopus:Have you planned another 2011 already ? |
Evil thrive because good people refuse to intervene. This is a very good write up that serves the purpose of sensitizing Nigerians on the importance of reflective thinking and making decisions for oneself rather than following the crowd. |
This is the major difference between a democrat and a power hungry dictator. Say no to dictatorship in all its forms. GEJ:PROGRESS |
This is a very bad thoughtless judgement, we cannot afford to leave our polling booths to the mercy of thugs and agberos. |
ABEOKUTA—Men of Ogun State Police command, yesterday, allegedly rounded up five councillors out of the 100 local government councillors in the state allegedly planning to defect from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state. Councillors from Ijebu North East, Odogbolu LGAs The arrested five councillors were said to belong to the Ijebu North East Local Government Area and Odogbolu Local Government Areas of the state. Vanguard gathered that the arrested councillors were said to be on their way to the PDP secretariat, the venue of the defection in Atan, the headquarters of Ijebu North East Local Government Area when the bus they were travelling in was accosted by about eight armed policemen around Ogbogbo. Plots by councillors to defect A source told our correspondent that no fewer than 100 APC local government councillors across the state had concluded plans to defect to the opposition PDP in their various areas. They were also said to have already met the PDP leadership in the state and had concluded arrangements on when they would formally defect in each of the 20 local government areas of the state. The councillors allegedly arrested by the unidentified policemen include Hon. Dele Talabi (Ward 6), Rufus Onadega (Ward 2), Hon. Rosanwo (Ward 9), and Hon. Ajayi (Ward 5). The name of the fifth councillor said to be from Odogbolu Local Government could not be ascertained as the time of filing in this report. The chairman of Mobilization and Organization Committee of the PDP in the South West, Prince Buruji Kashamu who was planning to receive the defectors expressed shock over the incident. APC scribe denies alleged arrest claims But the state Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Sola Lawal said that the alleged arrest of the five councillors was not true. Lawal said: “That cannot be true. We are not aware of that; that is not to our knowledge.” The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi said that he was not aware of the arrest of the five APC councillors. We are not aware of the incident—Police Adejobi said the policemen that made the arrest were not from the Headquarters, saying, as far as the command in the state is concerned, he was not aware of the incident. He, however, urged the affected party to lodge their complaints at the command for them to commence an investigation. The real reason the project couldn't be completed is Tinubu whose greed for monthly allocation starved Fashola of needed funds for Lagos developmental projects. |

ionsman:Do you know that you can become famous than the "beauty without thought" if you strap explosives to your body and head to Aso rock ? |
joseph1832:Oyedepo is not Lai Muhamed that rejoices every time Nigerians are killed by Boko haram, but questions any success of our military. |
haibe:Do you know that in many glorified secondary schools in the US , many Nigerians have a CGPA of 5.0. The fact that your sadistic lecturer don't wish you good because he or she was a failure doesn't mean you should hate the success of others. |
KEVIND:Thank you, in the 1930s Hitler also had a moderate running mate which he used to woodwink the germans, Nigerians won't fall for Buhari's antics. Germans haven't completely recovered from their costly mistake. GEJ:PROGRESS |
Bevista:It isn't propaganda, the whole world knows that the undeserved "general" has no certs and should be deranked. |
ionsman:If your semi-literate general can type that no one will be asking for his certs. |
podosci:A man that cannot stand on his decisions is not fit to rule. First, he was a communist, then an Islamic economist, who knows the next one he will embrace. Who wouldn't see confusion as the source of his convictions. As to the picture of Buhari in mecca, only children will deny that. |
Garrithe1st:Everything you listed above had been Buhari's position, so Basketmouth needs inspiration from Buhari. |
LRNZH:There is nothing clear about it, anyone could have said that. |
Tinubu's PRO doing what he knows best. |
Zahra can't login into her account - PDP Zahra made grammatical blunder - PDP Zahra fails her semester exam - PDP I will advise her that it is too early in her life for to be paranoid, live is meant to be lived not feared. |
