See what Nigeria economy has done to this young man |
Visa, Green Card, Work Permit is the only reason why the black race sell their freedom and social Liberty to DRACULARS in the name of Love and Marriage. His relations, friends and the African civil Laws saw nothing wrong with such social scam and emotional blackmail. The marriage has been contracted. He can now call her "baby, sweetheart, my love, mummy, granny or ancestor". Poverty is obviously the case but a WEAK MIND is often responsible for such POOR, CHEAP and WEAK bail out Happy Married life sir and God be with you till we meet again. I stand to be corrected but, my candid advice is... DON'T MARRY AUNTY!!!

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts, Senator Shehu Sani, on Saturday accused state governors of accruing over $3bn foreign debts which they diverted for their personal use. In a statement, Sani alleged that state governors collect this loans for the purpose of providing infrastructure or to create investment opportunities which they end up not doing, adding that some may take up to 50 years to service. Sani claimed that most of the foreign and domestic loans collected by the states were spent on personal luxuries or wasted in maintaining local political empire. He however opposed plans by the northern governors to obtain huge loans from the Saudi Arabian based Islamic Development Bank, stressing that the money might be diverted for personal use as usual. According to Sani, “The Northern Governors had through their Chairman, the Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, reacted to my opposition to their move to secure loan from the Islamic Development Bank in Saudi Arabia. “They insisted I am wrong and they are right. I wish to respond to them. The current foreign debt profile of Nigerian States stands at $3,271,960,461.03. Most of these debts were loans collected in the name of infrastructure or investment. “There is no tangible infrastructure development in the North commensurate with amount of loans collected by the state governments in the last two decades. “Most states are incapable of servicing their debt in the next 50 years. Taking cognisance of the current state of our economy, we have been plunged into a debt trap, which our grandchildren will not even be able to pay. “There is no single export-based investment or industry in the North that is currently in operation towards generating and attracting $1m monthly of foreign exchange.” The lawmaker further observed that states in the country could end up failing, if measures are not taken to curb their incessant borrowing. source:dailypost.ng/2016/02/20/senate-accuses-state-governors-of-diverting-money-for-personal-use/ |
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has appealed to university teachers across the country to join the ongoing war against corruption by making their voices heard. The Minister made the call when he paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos, Prof. Rahamon Bello, just before he delivered a paper at the Gani Fawehenmi Students Chambers Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Symposium held at the university on Friday. “I implore you to join the current debate on the war against corruption. Corruption is the single most debilitating factor other than insecurity in Nigeria today. We have lost lives, we have lost an economy because of corruption,” he said. Alhaji Mohammed said that by virtue of their research work and academic prowess, the lecturers are better placed to enlighten the public on the economy, governance and the polity as part of conscious efforts to further enrich the nation’s democracy. “I think the university lecturers, the professors are really keeping quiet. You have almost insulated yourselves from politics and governance. Today we hear a cacophony of voices about the economy, governance and the polity from people who don’t have the kind of depth and scholarship that are available in the university. “I will like to watch a television programme and see a professor of law with speciality in corruption or terrorism. I would rather listen to him and I know that many of these professors have done seminal work on these. There must be this town and gown relationship,” he said. The Minister commended the University of Lagos for its achievements, especially for being the first university to operate a campus radio and also for its advanced plans to establish the first campus television station, as disclosed by the Vice-Chancellor. Earlier, while welcoming the Minister, the Vice-Chancellor said that as an alumnus of the institution, Alhaji Mohammed remained one of the main drivers of positive change in the country. “With your pedigree, we are sure your performance in that position will be to the dignity of the University of Lagos,” he said. Alhaji Mohammed read law, as a second degree, at the university between 1982 and 1985. source:www.vanguardngr.com/2016/02/we-have-lost-lives-economy-because-of-corruption/ |
Old fools trying to be relevant |
On the 16th of February 2016, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) adopted Senator Ali Modu Sheriff (aka SARS), a two-time ANPP Governor of Borno state, a former ANPP senator, the former Chairman of the All Peoples Congress (APC) Board of Trustees and the indisputable founder of Boko Haram as its Acting National Chairman. Modu-Sheriff is also the erstwhile godfather and sponsor of Governor Shettima Ali, the present APC Governor of Borno state (until they fell out), he is a man that has a very deep and profound relationship and association with Idris Deby, the President of Chad and he is a man whose son is married to the daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari. Many have argued that his allegiance is more to the Republic of Chad than it is to Nigeria, that he is an agent of the Chadian intelligence agencies and that he is a Chadian citizen who often flaunts his Chadian passport. I cannot confirm the veracity of these assertions but one thing that I know is that most of Modu Sheriff's funding and stupendous wealth emanates primarily from the Republic of Chad and that that country is as much a home to him as is Nigeria. Yet it is not his connection with Chad that give me cause for concern. Rather it is his role in the establishment of Boko Haram. The truth is that appointing him as our Acting National Chairman is like appointing Jack the Ripper as the leader of the Conservative party in Victorian England. Kudos must go to the elders in the PDP Board of Trustees, a number of State Party Chairmen and a number of key individuals in the PDP Ministers Forum for taking a courageous and noble stand by rejecting and resisting the imposition of this abominable monstrosity. What Ali Modu Sheriff stands for and represents is utterly repugnant to every fiber of my being. Yet I have no objection to his being a member of the PDP simply because politics is a game of numbers. It is a game in which everyone, no matter how big or small, counts. If you want your party to grow and make progress you must accept the good, the bad and the ugly. To this end when he left the APC and joined the PDP sometime back, I was one of those that gladly welcomed him into our ranks and defended him in the public realm. This was at a time when others criticized the party for accepting him. There is however a world of difference between accepting him as one of the many leaders of the PDP and appointing him as the Acting National Chairman. Others may seek to justify such a course of action but I cannot, in good conscience, do so. To me it is a matter of principle. If we accept this then on what moral grounds did we condemn or oppose the APC or the APC-led Federal Government during the course of the last Presidential election? If we are comfortable with the likes of Ali Modu Sheriff leading us then on what basis did we criticize and oppose President Muhammadu Buhari for appearing to support Boko Haram when he said 'an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north'? If we insist on Ali Modu Sheriff being our National Chairman then we may as well go and apologize to the APC for all our past criticisms and condemnations and join them. On what basis can we accept as our National Chairman a man who established, encouraged, supported and nurtured an organisation that later metamorphosised into Boko Haram? This is a terrorist organisation whose ultimate objective is to turn Nigeria into an Islamic fundamentalist state by the use of terror and the force of arms? On what basis can we accept a man to lead us whose Commissioner of Religious Affairs when he was Governor of Borno state, one Alhaji Buji Foi, was the de facto operational commander of Boko Haram. The man was later murdered by those closest to him after investigations into who and how Boko Haram was founded commenced. On what basis can we accept as our National Chairman a man who helped to create an organisation that wishes to establish sharia as the norm in our country, repeal all our criminal and civil laws, ban all our civil liberties and human rights, proscribe the teaching of western education in our schools, turn our women into 6th century sex slaves and abrogate the secularity of our state. On what basis can we accept as our leader a man who supported a group that wishes to suspend our constitution, wipe out the Christian faith and the practice of moderate Islam in our country and create an evil ISIL-type empire in our nation? I really do wonder whether those that made this decision have lost all sense of rationality? I wonder whether they have lost their ability to see reason properly and to exercise their discretion in a logical, responsible and lucid manner? I wonder whether they have lost their fear of God? I wonder whether they have forgotten the evil that was visited on our people, and is still being visited on them, over the last seven years by Boko Haram? I wonder whether they know at whose instance it was that Mohammed Yusuf, the erstwhile leader of Boko Haram, was killed by our security forces whilst in police custody in 2009 just so that he wouldn't live to tell the whole world who gave him the funds to set up his murderous cult? I wonder whether they have forgotten the terrible havoc that Boko Haram unleashed on our citizens? I wonder whether they have forgotten the tears, wailing and suffering of the bereaved. I wonder whether they have forgotten the slaughter of the innocents. I wonder whether they have forgotten those that were beheaded, those that were chopped to pieces and thrown down wells like dog meat and those that were burnt alive? I wonder whether they have forgotten the savage and bestial rape, murder and abduction of the Chibok girls and all the other little girls that suffered a similar fate in recent times? I wonder whether they have forgotten that our nation is still at war with the bloodthirsty barbarians that committed these atrocities? Since when did we, as a political party, lose our memories and jettison our moral compass in this way? Since when did we become so callous, shameless and insensitive? Since when did greed and the lust for power and money determine and motivate our every course of action? Since when did we throw away caution, decency and principle? Since when did we become so barbarous and uncivilized? Since when did so few make a decision that will affect the lives and fortunes of so many in a profoundly negative way? Have we forgotten about the priests and servants of the Living God that were crucified by Boko Haram at their own church alters? Have we forgotten those that had their homes, schools, churches, mosques and properties pillaged, robbed and burnt to the ground by this group of godless Phillistines? Have we forgotten that the international community, through the International Terror Index, has rightly described Boko Haram as the 'most deadly terrorist organization in the world'? Have we forgotten those gallant young military officers that were killed at the war front whilst fighting this evil plague, all in their quest to keep us safe, to secure our borders and to protect our property and people? Does all that count for nothing? Is this the way to pay them back for their great sacrifice and their noble courage? Are we prepared to throw away all decency and morality just to seek favor with a handful of misguided mortals and in a futile attempt to win political power? Simply put has the leadership of the PDP gone completely mad or are they working for elements outside the PDP? Are they suggesting that you need a godless Haramite to run the affairs of the party before we can ever win power at the center again? Where is the patience and fortitude that is required from true leaders? Where is their faith in God? Where is their sincerity of purpose? Does the leadership of the PDP really believe that it has kept faith with the founding fathers of the party, those that trusted them with power and those that bestowed them with leadership? There were so many other people that they could have chosen to lead our party from the north-east. There were people like Mohammed Wakil, Nuhu Ribadu, Bala Mohammed, Wilberforce Juta, Aliyu Modibbo, Ahmed Gulak and so many others that could have been appointed. These are all committed people with impeccable records of public service, high moral standing and good character. Instead of doing so the leadership of the party chose to impose the most controversial, intellectually-challenged, morally-depraved and despicable character that they possibly could to lead us and when asked why they did so we were told that it was because 'he has plenty of money to spend on the party' and no less than '5 private jets' to lend out to those who needed a free plane ride. Evidently we have sold our birthright and heritage, not just for a mess of pottage like Esau, but rather for a free ride on a private jet. This is what a party that was once led by successive groups of seasoned and formidable intellectuals and great men of power, vision, courage and good character has been reduced to. This is what the party that was founded and once led by giants like President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Tony Anenih, General Ibrahim Babangida, General Aliyu Gusau, Alhaji Adamu Ciroma, General T.Y. Danjuma, Vice President Abubakar Atiku, President Umaru Yar’adua, President Goodluck Jonathan, Chief Bode George, Col. Ahmadu Alli, Chief E.K. Clark, Professor Jerry Gana, Dr. Chuba Okadigbo, Chief Ken Nnamani and so many others has degenerated to? What a pity! What a monumental tragedy! This is a party that once boasted of having in its ranks many promising and dynamic bright young stars that were collectively capable of shaking the very foundation of the civilized world and creating new frontiers and greater hope for the future of our people and our beleaguered nation. How are the mighty fallen. What on earth has happened to us? As the Book of Galatians in the Holy Bible asks, 'who has bewitched us'? Over the the course of the last 17 years, in terms of the quality of party leadership, the PDP has gradually descended into the unceremonious cesspit of mediocrity. Worst still, with the recent appointment of Ali Modu Sheriff as our Acting National Chairman, we have chosen to spit in the wind, sleep with the dogs, dance on the graves of our fallen heroes, piss on the blood and bones of the slaughtered innocents and wallow in the filthy pool of compromise, deceit, doublespeak and shame. As a consequence of this calamitous decision we have, literally overnight, become a shell, nay a shadow, of what we used to be. Unfolding events will prove my assertion true. I have no doubt that time will eventually prove me right and vindicate me. The bitter truth is that this arrangement is an affront against the Living God and it cannot stand. Yet if it does stand the party will pay a heavy price for it because it will inevitably lead to the end of the PDP as we know it. Imposing Ali Modu-Sheriff is an insult to all those that have fought for, led, served, defended, supported and risked everything for the party, at every level, over the last 17 years. Only the deeply malevolent can be comfortable with such an arrangement. It is evil. It is godless. It is indefensible. It is shameful and as long as it stands the PDP does not have the moral standing or authority to criticize or condemn others. Those that made this decision behind closed doors and without proper or wide consultations have murdered sleep. They have not only betrayed the confidence that the rest of us bestowed upon them but they have also prepared the coffin for our great party and dug its grave. It is a tragedy of monumental proportions and I have little doubt that God will judge them for what they have done. Don't know if Youths can be leaders of tomorrow in this greedy generations of our Fathers

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu yesterday declared that in 40 years time some of Nigeria’s present youths can be governors, adding that for them to know little about the country “is a peril we cannot afford”. While lamenting that Nigerian youths were no longer studying History in schools, he advised that the subjects should be restored to the nation’s educational curriculum. Speaking at the launch of a book, “The Nigerian Century,” edited by a seasoned journalist, Dare Babarinsa, at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, Tinubu regretted that foreign schools in the country were teaching young Nigerians the histories of foreign countries at the expense of the Nigerian history. According to him, “Most youths don’t know Nigerian history and in 40 years, some of them could be governors. History should be restored to the school curriculum and this book (The Nigerian Century) should be available in all schools and Nigerian missions worldwide.” The former Lagos governor observed that Nigeria was grasping with the challenges of change, but argued that through history, the country could learn how she got to its current position and the way out. source:dailypost.ng/2016/02/19/nigerian-youths-can-be-governors-40-years-from-now-tinubu/ |

Oluwabukola Charity Dazan died aged 27. This
picture was taken by one of her friends on Tuesday
February 2, 2016 during her departmental
“traditional day.” You must have heard lots of stories about how YabaTech’s Oluwabukola Charity Dazan of the Department of Office Technology and Management (OTM) died on Wednesday. NewsroomNG had lengthy chats with student friends who were with her in her last moments. We also spoke with, and were with, many of the students as they protested after Dazan’s tragic passing. We’ve promised to not name our sources. Here’s their side of the story. “This is due to absolute neglect on the part of YabaTech authorities and Nigerian medical workers outside the walls of this school,” one of them said. Oluwabukola Charity Dazan, 27, finished writing a practical examination (Advanced Web Page Design) around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday when she suddenly fell ill. She went to the medical center to be attended to when the thing got worse. “They simply gave her paracetamol or something and refused to let her into the sick ward where there are beds she could sleep in,” the student said. “Dazan was not allowed past the clinic’s lobby. I wasn’t surprised. That’s how they do here. They are pathetic. A noisy crowd of students gathers at YabaTech Theatre Hall to listen to the school Rector Mrs. Margaret Kudi Ladipo. We couldn’t make anything of her speech. A student called it “medicine after death.” Another tagged it “balderdash.” “I’m very tired,” Dazan was complaining so her friends decided to take her to the hostel (Akata Hall) where she could rest on a “manageable” bed. This was around 7:00 p.m on Tuesday. “One hour later, she was complaining of having pains in both hands so we rushed her back to the medical center,” another student told NewsroomNG. “They just checked her and gave her some drugs again. But did not admit her into the sick ward. She was again restricted to the lobby. They said there were no available beds inside the sick ward. “Around 10:00 p.m, the school medics discharged her again but this time she could neither stand nor walk. That was the time they could have admitted her or referred her elsewhere but they didn’t. They bundled her into their bus (ambulance) and drove her to her hostel. It was there some friends bathed her. “Around 11:00 p.m., she started complaining again…this time bitterly,” another student said. “So we returned her to the medical center. The medics, this time, referred her to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Ebute-Metta. “They drove her there in their bus with a letter from the chief doctor at Yabatech medical center. Angry YabaTech students wrecked the medical center, and this bus…and filmed themselves in the act. “FMC officials told us they won’t attend to Dazan until N35,000 admission fee and some other registration fee are paid. Everything totalled approximately N43,000. “We pleaded with FMC to begin treating Dazan as we would go out in search of the money. But FMC refused and told us to take Dazan’s weak body along on our fundraising hustle. I was particularly shocked by their statement and body language. They didn’t act like they had children or were human for that matter. “So we drove Dazan back to YabaTech to raise the money. The chief doctor at YabaTech gave us N10,000. Dazan’s fellowship (YabaTech Celestial Fellowship) raised N25,000. Dazan’s roommates raised N3,000. “With N38,000 raised, we drove Dazan back to FMC. A nurse from our medical center was with us. “On returning to FMC, we were instructed to follow due process in paying the fees. FMC said treatment would not commence until we presented the receipts. “At this point, Dazan started saying albeit faintly ‘I’m dying, please help me. I’m dying. I’m dying. Help me’.” “‘Shut up and keep quite my friend’, a doctor shut her down. “We split ourselves into two groups. Some went to pay the admission fee. The other group went to pay for drip and blood. Our nurse was with FMC staff and Dazan. Dazan was the only jewel her parents had. Her dad suffered stroke two years ago and her mom is reportedly ill. “Before we returned, FMC had taken Dazan into the ward and ran some tests on her. That’s what they told us when we returned to present the receipts. It was around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday now. We were told the test result was ‘paperwhite’. “They said they couldn’t locate Dazan’s veins. So there was no way they could pass any water or blood into her bloodstream. In fact, they said she had no single drop of blood left in her body. We were wondering what this could mean. “When the medics at FMC returned to Dazan’s bed, they found her dead. That’s how this evil system took our friend away. Just like that. They said only the N600 money for card would be refunded. The rest wasn’t refundable. “FMC also refused to issue Dazan’s death certificate because she didn’t stay up to 24 hours at the facility,” another student said. “Dazan’s dead body was driven back to YabaTech medical center some minutes after 2:00 a.m. “However, YabaTech medics left her corpse in the bus and failed to wash or dress her. She had defecated on herself in her last moments. They left her there, in her mess, till daybreak. “It was around 8:00 a.m. when one of us who didn’t follow us to FMC went looking for Dazan. She thought her classmate was still alive.” We spoke with that particular classmate and here’s what she told us: Arrest us if you can: YabaTech students wait behind after authorities caught them vandalising medical facility. I didn’t know she had died. I went to the medical center and searched the sick ward but couldn’t find Dazan on any of the beds. I didn’t know what to think. The medical center’s bus was parked inside the premises. On my way out, I noticed there were flies in and around the ambulance. There were lots of flies. That was when it hit me. I moved closer to the bus and took a look. Dazan was there, dead. She was smelling. She was swollen. The nurses didn’t take care of the body. When the security officers knew what I had discovered, they rushed towards me and dragged me away. I was shocked. Dazan (January 9, 1989 – February 10, 2016) was the only child her parent had left, we were told. Her parents live in Oko Afon, Badagry in Lagos State. They are originally from Cotonou in Benin Republic. Dazan was immediate past sisters coordinator of her campus fellowship. Since Dazan’s father suffered stroke two years ago, she’s had to fend for herself. Her mother is also not feeling well, NewsroomNG gathered. Dazan: Rest In Peace. Charity’s bi-lingual classmates say this simple tribute will rest on the lecture hall’s door for a long time. “She struggled for the past two years to pay her school fees and get ends meet…on her own,” one of her close friends told NewsroomNG. “Dazan is just two weeks from graduating from this school and this tragedy took her from us. “This is sad,” the friend said. Dazan was, on Wednesday, buried at Atan Cemetery near the University of Lagos. Her burial was well attended by YabaTech students many of whom barricaded University Road. NewsroomNG gathered that armed police officers and soldiers were on ground to maintain law and order during the burial. We’re not sure Dazan’s sick parents made it to the burial. But an uncle was around, we heard. It was the uncle who insisted her body be cleaned up. YabaTech nurses had attempted wrapping her up in her mess, with the clothe she was wearing still on her body. While Dazan was being buried, angry students locked down the school and staged demonstrations at YabaTech’s back gate, main gate, administrative block and the medical center. They later vandalised the medical center and set fire to it. But officials put out the fire on time. The students said the medical center should be tagged “YabaTech Paracetamol Medical Center.” “Whatever you say is wrong with you, all they do is give you paracetamol,” an angry student told NewsroomNG. “Yet we pay over N3,000 for medicals every session…45,000 of us. Do the math. Yet, this thing they call medical center is nothing but a mess. source: newsroomng.com

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has attributed his government’s failure to prosecute holistically looters of the nation’s treasury, especially those in the oil sector, to ‘lack of evidence’. Buhari, in an interview with Peter Okwoche of the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, in London, United Kingdom, after attending a conference on the ongoing Syrian crisis, said that there was no way he could go ahead to fight the ongoing war against corruption successfully without having viable evidence to backup the prosecution of such cases. Making an indirect reference to the immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Deizani Alison-Madueke, and others, Buhari pointed out that government’s agencies were currently embarking on vigorous excavation in order to unveil evidences and documents which they consider very vital for successful prosecution source:dailypost.ng/2016/02/16/i-cannot-prosecute-looters-without-evidence-buhari/ |

The candidate representing the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming Benue South senatorial rerun, Daniel Onjeh has denied the assassination attempt claim by his opponent, David Mark. Onjeh said his political ambition was not worth the blood of any man, adding that he or any member of his team had no intention to kill a former military general. The APC candidate was reacting to a statement issued by the PDP team that Onjeh alongside his publicity director, Okpokwu Ogenyi were planning to attack Mark. A statement issued by Ogenyi on behalf of the campaign organisation described the story as baseless and unfounded . He wished Mark long life, while asking the general public to disregard the story. The statement reads below . “Our attention has been drawn to a statement issued by David Mark, alleging assassination attempt on his life by Comrade Dan Onjeh. “Ordinarily, we shouldn’t dignify his concocted and fictitious allegation with a response, but for the, records, posterity, and the sake of our people and our numerous supporters, we intend to break the long silence on Mark’s countless allegations and barefaced lies on the pages of newspapers. “That somebody would believe this story is not only a woeful display of ignorance, but also pathetic. “It is sad that Mark, a former military brigadier general and self-acclaimed Okpokpowulu (bulldozer) is alleging that a bloody civilian like Onjeh, whom he severally described as a small boy, is planning to kill him. “It is obvious that the general has seen his imminent defeat, hence his cries like a baby deprived of breast milk for months. “Evidently, he has all the time to paint all the resources and social media platform red with cooked up stories because he has the luxury of time, especially as he is not seen campaigning anywhere in Benue South. “Expectedly, like student who does not read ahead of exam and only bank on cheating to pass, Mark has displayed same with his refusal to campaign, forgetting that the electorate are more politically conscious now, and that the era of impunity, voters intimidation and inducement are over. “This is to inform well-meaning Nigerians that Comrade Onjeh has never and will never plot to kill any man in the name of political office, as such, his ambition is not worth the blood of any man, not even his opponent Mark. Rather, Onjeh wishes him long life to experience the change and development he deprived the Idoma nation for close to two decades. “His recent baseless allegations and cries are pure indications that he has finally accepted his fate and he’s ready to return to his golf course in Akpegede to wait for the EFCC. “We call on our numerous supporters to ignore the ‘wailing wailler’ and keep the dream of emancipating Benue South from 16 years of oppression and misrepresentation. “Join us in prayers as we count down to our daybreak – February 20. “This David Mark’s claim is true to the extent that he meant his political death!” source:dailypost.ng/2016/02/15/alleged-assassination-attempt-my-ambition-is-not-worth-the-blood-of-any-man-not-even-mark-onjeh/ |

Members of the pro-Biafra group, Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, have resolved to carry arms from Wednesday February 17, 2016, ‘in self-defence’. The group said in a release yesterday in Umuahia by its spokesperson, Emma Nmezu, that failure to carry arms had exposed its members to attacks and killings by security agents. “Now, we have come to the painful but irreversible conclusion and determination to take our fate and destiny in our own hands. Starting from Wednesday, February 17, 2016, “Biafrans” will now be in the mode of self defence as enshrined by the relevant acts and declarations of the United Nations. “Let no country or world leader attempt to tag us as terrorists because we are not terrorists, rather we are fighting for our survival and from being exterminated from the surface of the earth,” the release said. “We shall defend ourselves with everything and anything necessary to avoid the continual killing of our mothers, fathers, and children. This is the time for all Biafrans to rise and defend themselves. We cannot fold our arms and watch them kill us the second time after killing over two million of us in 1968”. The release added that in September last year, IPOB catalogued attacks on its members in a statement where it alerted the world on plans to provoke Biafrans into retaliation only for it to be tagged as a terrorist organization and Biafrans as terrorists. source:www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/we-ll-now-carry-arms-in-self-defence-ipob/133680.html |

1. My son, if you keep spending on a woman and she never asked you if you’re saving or investing, and she keeps enjoying the attention, don’t marry her. 2. My son, a woman could be a good wife to you, some could be a good mother to your children but if you’ve found a woman like a mother to you, your children and your family, please don’t let her go. 3.My son, don’t confine the position of your wife to the kitchen, where did you get that from? Even in our days, we had farm-lands where they worked every morning . . . that was our office. 4. My son, if I tell you that you’re the head of the house, don’t look at your pocket; look if you will see a smile on your wife’s face. 5. My son, if you want to have a long life, let your wife be in charge of your salary, it will be difficult for her to spend it when she’s aware of the home needs and bills to pay but if it’s in your care, she will keep you asking even when all has been spent. 6. My son, don’t ever beat your woman, the pain in her body is nothing to be compared to the wound on her heart and that means you may be in trouble living with a wounded woman. 7. My son, now that you’re married, if you live a bachelor kind of life with your wife, you will soon be single again. 8. My son, in our days, we had many wives and many children because of our large farmland and many harvests, there are hardly any land for farming anymore, so embrace your woman closely. 9. My son, under the cocoa tree that I did meet your mother could be your eateries and restaurants of nowadays, but remember, the closet thing we did there was to embrace each other. 10. My son, don’t be carried away when you start making more money, instead of spending on those tiny legs that never knew how hard you worked to get it, spend it on that woman that stood by you all along. 11. My son, when I threw little stones or whistled at the window of your mother father’s house, to call her out, it was not for sex, it was because I missed her so much. 12. My son, remember, when you say your wife has changed, there could be something you’ve stopped doing too. 13. My son, your mother, Chinyere rode the bicycle with me before I bought that tortoise car outside there, any woman that won’t endure with you in your little beginning should not enjoy your riches. 14. My son, don’t compare your wife to any woman, there are ways she’s enduring you too and has she ever compared you to any man? 15. My son, there is this thing you people call feminism, well, if a woman claim to have equal right with you in the house, divide all the bills into two equal parts, take one part and ask her to start paying the other part. 16. My son, I met your mother a virgin and I took more yams to her father, if you don’t meet your wife a virgin, don’t blame her, what I didn’t tell you is that our women had prestige. 17. My son, I didn’t send your sisters to school because I was foolish like many to think a female child won’t extend my family name, please don’t make that mistake, the kind of female achievers I see nowadays has made the male gender an ordinary tag. 18. My son, your mother have once locked up the cloth I was wearing and almost tore it because she was angry, I did not raise my hand to beat her because of a day like this, so that I can be proud to tell you that I never for once beat your mother. 19. My son, in our days, our women had more of natural beauty, though I wouldn’t lie to you, some had minor painting of their appellation mostly on their arms, the ones you people now call tattoo, but don’t forget that they didn’t expose any part of their body like your women of nowadays. 20. My son, your mother and I are not interested in what happens in your marriage, try to handle issues without always coming to us. 21. My son, remember I bought your mother’s first sewing machine for her, help your wife achieve her dreams just as you’re pursuing yours. 22. My son, don’t stop taking care of me and your mother, it's a secret of growing old and having children to take care of you too. 23. My son, pray with your family, there is a tomorrow you don’t know, talk to God that knows everything, everyday. copied from www.yegob.com cc: Lalasticalala Obniscopy |
