ShakurM:let me interprete that from Yoruba for you. It goes thus: "It's the same profession/trade that joined us together, we came to the world differently. You chose to be deceitfully sociable, I chose great wealth. You chose show-offs, I preffered to be really successful" 2 Likes |

Family / The 31 Qualities Of A Total (virtuous) Woman. Dare To Be One! by NeuroBoss(m): 2:45am On Oct 17, 2014 |
In a rapidly changing world where gender struggles seem to have destroyed the beautiful traditional structure of marriage, I discovered that in an ideal marriage (explained by Proverbs 31: 10-31), the total woman enjoys many of the things feminists fight for today and still performed her traditional roles albeit joyfully. Here are 31 insights from Author Mike Murdoch: She is rarely found- though, she does exist. It is a rare man who is capable of discerning this rare woman. She requires pursuit. It will take more than money and possessions to attract her to her man. She will produce for her man what his money cannot produce for him. Whoever trusts her is safe. She will do him good. She does not have a dangerous side to her. She loves to work. She understands the need for change. She is flexible in accommodating the needs of others. She is an early riser. She schedules her work around the needs of others. She is comfortable and competent in the currents and transactions of business. She is cautious in decision making. She is physically fit. She does not require constant reassurance from others for inner satisfaction. She willingly invests extra time in the things that really matter. She is skilled with the tools necessary to complete her task. She reacts to the hurt of others. She willingly associates with those less fortunate and of lesser rank. She anticipates changes. She covers herself with care. She protects her husbands focus. She completes what she starts. When she speaks, her words are wise. Her behaviour never changes, regardless of her circumstances. She carefully monitors the conduct and behaviour of her household. Her children like her-she will be amiable Her husband praises her. She fears the lord. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Why Mimiko Had To Move! by NeuroBoss(m): 1:42pm On Oct 05, 2014 |
Are you a paid Mimikoarian or just a random opinionist? The truth is that Mimiko craves relevance post 2015. He'll get it anywhere but going to APC is less appealing and less promising. But trust Yorubas, if there would ever be a cause for regional leanings, Mimiko may regret this decision. 2 Likes |

Emmaomotob: Stop using translator. . -------- All women are fascists. All they want is for you to tell them what they want to hear, don't argue with them and don't make them cry. Me, translator? This is actually an insult to my years of assiduous studies. |

Religion / September Testimonies by NeuroBoss(m): 7:49am On Sep 28, 2014 |
Good morning friends and Happy Sunday to you all. Today is the last Sunday of the Month of September, the fore-runner of the other "ember" months and I trust God the embers of testimonies had been fanned in your lives the month long. Do share your testimonies to negate the widely believed views that bad things abound in these months. I also believe they will serve to encourage and uplift some of us still believing God for our own big miracles. Thanks and God bless. |

Romance / Re: Why Do Most Women Prefer Abroad Based Husbands To Nigerian Based Ones? by NeuroBoss(m): 4:38pm On Sep 26, 2014 |
They wan enter "eloplane" They wan make their friend's head with naija based guy to swell. They wan dey make dem jealous and inundate them with stories told them by their "jand" fiancé. It's even funny when u hear it in Church testimonies. Something like: "my sister dated one guy through out the university, suffered with him and all that only for him to jilt her. As God would have it, a man coming to spend Xmas in Nigeria met her and they are now married and BASED in the UK". The word in upper case being the only major reason for the testimony and not that she eventually married. They are said with more emphasis amidst shouting for joy 3 Likes |

Keshi's ego will ruin him but unfortunately drag the Super Eagles down too. If local politics, tribal lobbying and luck take one to a position, only results keep one there. Keshi is near his being ousted! |

South Africa is a country that knows what it's doing. I pray they continue because for now, they are the only source we can trust to give us the true state of events. If the South African authorities successfully cut and burn the GEJ administration's soiled hand in this, I foresee a barbaric demonisation, witch-hunting and vengeful reactions on South African businesses in Nigeria. Let's wait and see. 3 Likes 1 Share |
