Debesther: thanks guys for d reply/questions. a friend of mine who is a travel agent is the middle man,he is the one linking me up,the said man is a Canadian embassy staff,he will get a job offer that will facilitate the visa+work permit,that i will only pay when the visa has been approved and confirmed which i dont know how to confirm,that i will look for a job when i get there by my self.that is all i am informed about for now.pls advise.

Nuendo: LETTER OF INTENT
1. Start off with a very very short description of who u are and your basic interests
2. Your qualifications , degree , etc
3. Work experience relevant to your first degree etc.
4. why you want to do a masters and how doing such would benefit you in your life aspirations
5. why you want to study in in Canada instead of Nigeria or another country e.g USA, UK etc
6. The u have to somehow try to convince the visa officer that your study would be beneficial back home thereby reinforcing your intent to come back home after studies.




LETTER OF SPONSORSHIP:

1. Sponsor should introduce himself, occupation, address
2. Explain his relationship to you.
3. Explain why he wants to sponsor you ( if he isn't blood related.)
4. Assure that he has the financial means to be responsible for all your expenses


DISCLAIMER : This isn't a perfect guide but going by most of what i have seen online, this could be a starting point.

I want to ask about the following :
1. Letter of Intent - Having gone through the cic website, i didn't come across this as a basic requirement. I might have missed it. Please is it mandatory or just to reinforce the submission.

2. Sponsor's letter of reference from his employer : I already have his appointment letters, and bank payslip etc. Do i need a reference again + what would be the content of the letter

3.Letter of SPonsorship vs Affidavit of Support : I already have the letter of sponsorship, do i still need the affidavit Are both required??

4.Questionnaire : pls do i dwnload this and fill manually. Didn't see it in the main cic website. but in the Nigerian cic page.

Let me reply few of ur questns according to my experience.
1) Letter of Intent: during the time I applied,it Wasn't compulsory,but may be necessary to support ur application,but I think recently,it is included as basix req.(Not 2 sure abt this oo)
2) Reference Letter from sponsor's employer: It won't be harmful if u include it especially if it is stated amg req.dox. Content may include: date ur spons.started d job,his/er position,salary(correspondin wit d payslip) and total remark on his xter @work
3) Affidavit of sponsorship: Pls.dis affidavit carries weight oo.cdhc honours only d one dat is prepared by a notary public. The notary public lawyers av it 4mat. But list out d highlighted content as cdhc listed it.I'm not sure if u need any letter of sponsorship if u av affidavit of support bt if u av LOS without aff.of support,things may go wrong. U shld b able to grab my point now.
4.Questionnaire: Na cic 9ja website concern u mostly ooo. U for see d qstnaire dia na. If u see am there,then fill am jejely n correct,then submit am. Shikena.

kumulus: Hello landers, now that jamb is over and my chances of scoring above 250 is in the hand of God.....all i can do now is focus on my canada and us admission stuff.
Imagine you complete every single section on the use of english absolutely perfect.....and then....you got home to cross check with a dictionary only to find out that your shaded the wrong type on the OMR......

If you ask me what I feel like right now,....... E just be like say make ah go hang myself ni.....but then, my weak side....' I f*ucking get over things quickly..' just like it never happened. Shouldn't have been me at all.

I think it should be the pre-requisite courses that my department require of me; actually my masters programme start by September and the pre-requisite by May but I must pass the pre-requisite courses with at least 75% to progress to the master programme. I had a similar experience in 2007 when I got admission to UManitoba. The admission letter arrived lately,which made me to call for new start date letter to file my visa application,but the new letter gave a conditional admission,which I did not bother to check so I believed the start date will only be the different thing on the letter. I think the issuer of my first letter was on Holiday then. To cut d long story short. I was denied for the 2 reasons above. I used a sponsor then with balance of abt 70M in his acct.
So Bro,pls get straight admission without any condition,and fire again. I wish u success in ur 2nd attempt.

My observation about d embassy cos am there for certification today
1)They don't have many student applicant.8k euro no be beans.
2)They are highly organised.
3)D nigerians staff there hate begging.once u are late for appointment after 30 min just don't boarder to come again,the fair ibo man at the gate will not even give u audience.

Boss,I dey hail ooo. Na d same newacca I want to have more options aside the Canada move. Honestly,if have had more info and knowledge about the German education system and visa for International student,I could have opted for it since. Anyway,God is all knowing,and he knows what's best for us. I have gotten some schools though,I am working on them. But I still need more options as I realize that admission to their Unis in Germany is really competitive.

Yes. PVC has been in use for long in 9ja cos it doesn't rust. Though some installations still require steel pipes(Public projects) But no shakes boyz are ready to work whichever way

futurewise11: Don't get it twisted oh.its not all school that honour such letter.some skool usually waive toefl for english speaking country while others insist on toefl.so ask if they waive it or not.pls don't guess for german schools ooh.they are always strict oh.call them first and ask if they waive it or not first.for me am applying to 7 skools.5 under uni assist,2 in bavaria they all waive toefl.thx to walker and flange
