I've been banned by him for less. |
I'd like to meet Seun in a very secluded part of Alpha Beach so I can punch his left eye black. |
@agathamari Facebook is a social site and socializing may include dating. I meet a lot of people via Facebook and if I can do business with them, attend events with them, share drinks with them, I see no reason why I shouldn't date one of them. |
Okay, I understand better now. Ken Nnamani. He's a very good moderator. What people don't understand is that to Preside is about the same thing as to Moderate. The man knows how to work good in this country without taking too drastic an action that will see his end, and too mild an action that will see ours. Ken Nnamani was the man who put the third term agenda to its grave without direct confrontation with OBJ. The man is not power crazed. He could have remained in the Senate or gone into the Presidential race, but he did not. He is in the right party that is most likely to win the 2011 Presidential Elections, and he's from a people that deserve it the most. He has a sincere outlook. As a president, you need to have a sincere look because things work better and faster when people find it easier to believe you. KEN NNAMANI FOR PRESIDENT 2001. |
Aspersions ke? I'm saying it used to be a forum rule for topics to be based on facts backed up by links and evidence, not hearsay. |
Ehen, so they've already beheaded 220 Nigerians in Libya? Let's see some pictures and videos please. People are just talking as if It's "moi-moi" to execute 1 person, let alone 220 Nigerians. |
@Dis Guy this president of the NSE thing to me is just like some ceremonial position. I don't believe he has any rights to make rules or adjust regulations of the stock exchange. People just hate rich people. See the refineries the man wanted to buy, what are the masses using them for now? |
Ken Nnamani Dimeji Bankole Earnest Ndukwe Nuhu Ribadu BabaTunde Fashola Donald Duke Pat Utomi Fola Adeola El Rufai Dora Akunyili I searched by brain so long to find the name of a single woman whom I thought could rule this country. What's happening to our women leaders in politics? Dora obviously gets more out of hand with the more power you put in her hands, but there was a time when we all believed and that's the Dora I'm talking about. |
When I saw the topic, I thought you actually made your girlfriend type it so we could see how bad her English was. If it really was your girlfriend that typed that post, then you should absolutely dump her immediately. If however, it was you who typed that rubbish, then she should dump you immediately. |
I'm sure you have not been interrogated by the NPF on a case involving robbery. You would wish you were shot dead by a robber. There was a guy on TV a couple of days ago, his eyelids alone were bigger than my lips after interrogation. Are you trying to tell me any regular customer unarmed or any citizen can just walk into a bank and hand the teller a bag to be filled with money and they should obey? The robber did not have a gun. He didn't point a gun, and after the teller politely asked him to show evidence of the availability of an arm, he could not. So as a matter of fact, the man wouldn't be robbing the bank, but collecting transfer payment from the teller. I don't think I have any further contribution to this thread. I'm sure you didn't see the pictures of female cashiers of First Bank Nigeria that were stripped naked. When I say naked, I mean there was not a stitch on them. The police paraded them stark naked as SUSPECTED collaborators of some petty fraudsters. You don't know where you're ulioi about. |
Stop lying! You're Ijawman. I've been watching the way you post. You want to gain support from the Yoruba members of this forum before you turn on them. But I'm happy everyone is seeing through your disguise. |
I'm ashamed of those of you who want this kind of action to be taken against hardworking, brave and dedicated Nigerian workers. In the USA, they have many crazed hero wannabes so I can understand what their problem is. In Nigeria, this should be encouraged. The teller did the WRONG thing according to company policy, but did he do a BAD thing? If the unarmed robber was successful with this robbery, how many more do you think he'd carry out? I'm personally suspicious of the manager of that branch of the bank. I don't doubt that the manager had plotted how an unarmed man will rob them of some change with the intent of falsely claiming millions from the insurance company. That's why they're so mad. If robbers are meant to be allowed free access to cart away money, I wonder if they'll be any use for security at banks. If the teller is not even trained for security, then they should first sack their security because they didn't do their job. And if they don't have security, then the teller can sue them. I'm really upset by this news. Even more enraged by those that are suggesting that in Nigeria, the teller should be treated the same. You people are not considering that if a teller in Nigeria gives out money to an unarmed robber, the teller will not be sacked immediately but sent to the police station to confess (you know how) then allowed to resume work and pay back that money in salaries before being sacked. My brother is head of transactions GTB nationwide and I've read memos on cases like this. "People wey their country good, dem want make e bad. Us wey our country don pafuka pass hell fire, una still wan condone bad thing? That means most of you are in support of what is happening to Ribadu right now. His case is one of overdo too. |
This is the same article remixed by another guy but thank God he remembered to mention that it was alleged. Also he clearly stated that Thursday's executions were another allegation. I have to go and sleep. This new article has just confirmed there is nothing to fear but that mill on Rumourlah road. |
Well, as long as according to the rules of the NSE, he is eligible, I have no problem with that. What they should do is revise their rules before the next tenure. I believe this position is just a ceremonial thing among the top shareholders. The Director General is the position of the regulatory body of the stock exchange. I believe it's like Tee Mac being the president of PMAN. |
Na this kain message NDPVF come pass around UNIBEN back in the days and now see the result in the Niger Delta. Confess, what kind of CHANGE are you talking about here? |
@illusion2 where did, you recieve this illusion? On the mountain? There was a time when threads based on rumours and assumptions were deleted from this forum. I guess It's a curse; everything Naija must spoil. @oyb If Fashola consolidates on the work he's currently carrying out in Lagos, by 2011, with or without Tinubu, Lagosians will be begging him to look away from the presidency and run for state once more. |
@Sagamite What Rubbish! Are you saying that average Nigerians don't have security? What Onovo is trying to do is act on the FEC report that says they should have no EXTRA security on the payroll of the state besides that provided to every other citizen. Of course they are free to hire bouncers and private security firms to provide any extra security needs they may have. If a citizen like Tu Face Idibia who has been violently attacked more than once has still not been assigned any security detail from the NPF, if the a bike rider who has been robbed more than once has not been offered and security escort by the NPF, then every other person who is not entitled by law to have police escorts and guards should not have them. This is all about equality and need for remainder 100,000 staff in the field. |
@Ibime without resorting to insults, I'd really like some clarification on your statement as to why MEND and other Niger Delta militants should let sleeping Odili lie. You seem to be insinuating that this man is so criminal and so malevolent and bloodthirsty that the militants are best off avoiding him. It must be right then to state that the reason they can draw their guns against the Federal Government is that the FG has been mild, considerate and openminded in dealing with MEND and sundry. You seem to be saying if the FG was more like Odili in dealing with his own people, this issue would have long been resolved. Please clarify. |
Please, if you people don't have facts then don't discuss complicated issues. Stick to the news of the 220 and stop wailing like rabid dogs. |
@Ikeyman I'm surprised that you're giving this thread more attention than it deserves. And in the process making me do same. I hope you know there are some posts that are so extremely retarded that only sane men can validate them by getting on the discussion. |
Please, let's get back to the topic because I don't know where you people want Nigeria to raise a military of 25 million. No country has ever done that in the history of earth. Let's go back to whether Libya is executing 220 Nigerians tomorrow at "Asubah". Only New Nigerian has carried that story so far. Since when has the New Nigerian turned to a source of breaking news? Is there no news agency in Libya that may have carried the news? The execution of 220 human beings is not something that will draw attention from only the New Nigerian only. |
@$osisi I don't expect this kind of rumour mongering from you. You should know the kind of news source to trust. @Jumobi, Sauron Nigeria will perish in a war with Libya. We live in a world of technology so despite the fact that Nigeria has one of the best ground forces in the world, a good airforce is a hundred times better than thousands of foot soldiers. Also recall that Nigeria is about the most hated country in the world. If you didn't know this, know it now. Britain and the USA have forged new diplomatic ties with Libya that are strong than all the years of wayo-wayo allies they've been portraying with us. The entire EU will back Libya because right now Libya is their agent for controlling illegal immigration from Africa which is a very serious problem in Europe. So some countries will sell weapons to Nigeria, but many will provide free military aid worth billions of euros to Libya. Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal and several others. The only countries that will back us up in a war today are China and Russia, and they can only do as much as is convenient to them. Europe however will do everything in their power to see us defeated. I can say that Libya is not executing 220 Nigerians because in Benin City, two of the media houses are in constant touch with the camps, being that most of the Nigerians in detention there are from Edo state. There are daily programs in which the detainees in Libya are spoken to directly, and nobody has heard anything of such. Someone mentioned the case of HIV children and I just wanted to clarify that the children were Libyan Children infected by foreign health workers. Then again the Libyan government didn't head to the fields to execute them. In fact, I believe those health workers were given light sentences or released to their countries. Nigerians are not wanted anywhere! The least you can do is enter these countries legitimately else you will be treated worse the dirt when caught. STAY ONE PLACE! |
@ibelab believe it or not. That's why when criminals mean business, nothing can be done. |
The entire settlement is just $75 million compared to the suit of $4 billion. Well, no further comments. I don't want to disturb the souls of the dead children. |
