You guys should count all the IDs on this thread. The guy whose name gets mentioned the most is the hottest guy. |
Nigerians can never encourage someone. No carrot. Just rod, rod, rod everywhere. Errr, I don't mean that kind of rod though. |
Virginity is simply the absence of opportunity. |
Is he a handsome guy? What features attract you to him? Is it just cos he's Oyibo? Do you do this with some other guys or just him? |
I wonder whether they picked up Barrack Obama and Gordon Brown from the streets or they were 'recycled' from the political office they occupied before into the heads of government in their country. |
@bombsquad Banire may not 'smoke alcohol' but he smokes weed and whatever else he can lay his hands on. Anyway, I'm off this thread cos I don't believe there's any serious beef between the two governors and even if there is, the better for Lagos' progress. Competition for whose tenure is better. |
I've always said that the problem with Nigeria is the people not the leaders. If the Governors, presidents, Senators and Representatives could only get themselves to think as negatively, backwardly and hopelessly as the rest of us, the whole of this country would have become an outreach state of Somalia. If the funding continues to be made available, I see no reason why this laudable project should not be completed in time. Should we sit down and do nothing just because the masses have pessimistic thoughts? Should governors perform terribly just to assure the electorate that they won't contest for a second term? Bless Nigeria. |
I don't know why some Nigerians will just want the rest of us to believe that since Adolf Hitler died, there has not been a power cut it the USA or Europe. |
Please I want Daddy to set up club 1 which will be for only myself so that I can be able to dish out $1 million at the Lords whims and caprices through the divine revelation of Daddy G.O. |
I see a star falling in Cuba. I prophecy that Fidel Castro will not be with us anymore in a short while. Let's pray for the people of Cuba. T. B Joshua is a fool. His fellow scam artist is setting up club 70 and club 1000 to take from the rich and buy another private jet, he's here remixing the news to his broke congregation. |
Please, I want to join Club 1 for those that provide a million dollars whenever the Lord needs it. OLE! |
You may have to. But understand that it was for a reason that your logic wasn't utilized in forming their categories and they must have done that for a reason. |
Are you people finally admitting that the Northerners who wanted independence delayed were right afterall? |
agaba123 I'm saying the same thing O! Other means of diverting funds are proving futile. |
Town Hall Meetings are originally our own culture, I don't know why we've done away with them. |
Well, this was a period when Nigeria was very complex. Sometimes while reading Nigeria's history, It's like am in some kind of action adventure movie. Today though everything is so lazy and annoying. |
@Beaf don't mind all these people that don't know the kind of damage and the financial abyss their slave masters dug this country into before falsely pegging our currency at par with theirs. Anyway, let's go on with the class. Since no one can provide information on any single structure or sustainable development the Brutish put in place in Adamawa state, let's move on to the next state. I didn't mention Abuja because they left that entire place as a forest because it didn't have any resources which they could ship out. Okay then, let's see what the invaders left in the next state. Please don't be shy if you can think of anything at all. Nothing is too small. AKWA-IBOM: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. |
OBJ cried when Nzeogwu was killed and chastised the men that celebrated his death. Kaduna was a Nationalist or better still a Pan African. I don't know what he'd be doing in the separatist army. Also, he was one of the first counter intelligence officers of the Nigerian Army so the official Nigerian Military burial given to his body by the then military government raises questions about which side he was working for. Also there's the fact that his body was mutilated while in the morgue in Nsukka. Well, I believe the man was an ideal Nigerian and and selfless human being. I respect him a lot. With more people like him, I don't think this country would be in the mood it is today. |
@eina don't bother yourself. That's what critics do, they criticize. Since they don't have any ideas to contribute, they don't want anybody to have an idea to contribute. So they are here with us just waiting debunk everything. |
@blacksta We have to take our eyes away from what we think the government can do for us and start concentrating on what we can do for ourselves. Some Local Government Areas have not recieved allocation for about 5 months now due to the credit crunch. This is not a matter of some corrupt leader stole the money, it didn't come at all. Nothing like that has happened to us in the South, yet we cry more than the bereaved North. |
They should go ask the other Chairman that was with them in the Hotel. He knows everything about this and I'm sure he convinced the Governor to pay. Osun O! N60 million of taxpayers' money. What part of the budget is this coming from? Miscellaneous? |
Nobody got better. Some people just got worse slower than the others. I must say that during the period I spent in the North, the kind of comfort I saw the people exercising in poverty was unbelievable. This was during a period where most people down South had the notion that Northern Generals were ruling, therefore the Northerners were enjoying. That was the period they suffered the most under those leaders. As for Jigawa state, I don't even know what to say. People are suffering O! That's why when I see my people in the Niger Delta cry that they're being marginalized, they are suffering, they are poor, I laugh. When the kind of poverty in Jigawa hits down south, we will start smiling in order to conserve energy to combat hunger. Poverty is a Northerner. I don't need CBN figures to confirm what I've seen with my own eyes. |
This whole thing is like a man in a coma trying to give a dying man mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. |
Please, you people should think straight. When Jerry Putnam became president of the NYSE in 2006, besides being a shareholder in a couple of companies, he was also a shareholder in the New York Stock Exchange itself via the acquisition of his electronic company, Archipelago Holdings some years prior to that. In terms of integrity, the same Putnam was investigated for his involvement in a controversial trade with Wolfang Flottl which saw the collapse of Refco. The question y'all should be asking yourselves is: WHY DO YOU HATE SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE SO MUCH??! |
@Kobojunkie If you're not here to state who you think should be the next president of Nigeria, then is it possible that you're only on this thread to criticize other people's views as usual? |
The point is Sagamite, you seem to understand the rationale behind allocation of Police aides. So let us in on why D'banj, Turai, OBJ and Chris Uba should have more police protection at the expense of the rest of us. |
Please, please, please. You people should take it easy on the fellow Thor. He's not used to holding logical discussion on the politics section. He's mostly found on the sexuality threads discussing anal sex, bestiality and the likes. So don't blame him. It will take a little time for him to adjust into this kind of more advanced discussion. Just give him some time. I have said it time without number that in this decade, no country has gone backwards more than the USA. 1. How many full scale wars is Nigeria (0) involved in compared to the USA (3)? 2. How many major comprosations have collapsed in the USA (more than 20) compared to Nigeria (0) 3. How many jobs are being lost monthly in Nigeria (less than 1000) compared to the USA (120,000). 4. How much has been lost to government officials, company executives and private citizens on the count of corruption in Nigeria (billions of Naira) compared with the USA (tens of billions of dollars). In fact, that Madoff fellow by himself took care of tens of billions by himself. Besides, how much did the Governor of Chicago want to sell Obama's Senate seat for? Add that to the others. 5. The National Debt of Nigeria ($10 billion or 3% of GDP) compared to the USA ( is $12 trillion or 92% GDP) . 92% GDP means if the USA decides to pay It's debt today, only one state will get a budget allocation next year, and it will only get half of what it usually does. 6. In as much as we hear kidnappingp everyday in Nigeria (less than 5000 people kidnapped annually) compared to the USA (more than 300,000 children alone annually. If we include adults, it may get to 1 million). And most of those kidnapped in the USA are by serial killers. 7. The Nigerian Central Government has more control of It's state and regions compared to the USA in which every state can shove the laws of the Central Government aside an do their own will. So please, using the criteria someone posted earlier, is the USA not as failed as Iraq and Afghanistan? |
@eina I suggest you modify your topic to be PERSON rather than MAN. It is annoying to think only a man should be considered for presidency in Nigeria. "We purpose first yankee get betta Mrs. President and First Lord sef" |
First of all, those of you calling the name of Muiz Banire, is that not the current commissioner/minister of environment? Look at him proper and tell me he's not a drug smoking tout. Is that the kind of man you people want to rule the commercial nerve centre of Africa? Better be careful before the Gods unleash their wrath on you. Muiz Banire in the AC is like Gani Adams in OPC. Then for the people crying that Fashola wants to drive out poor people from Lagos, is it a bad thing? Lagos is a business hub, a social centre, an entertainment zone, a real estate paradise and a tourist attraction. Tell me which of these activities poor people are engaged in there. I've lived in Lekki for 12 years now, but since the credit crunch came and swept my business under, I packed my bags and headed back home to start all over again. Why can't people think logically? How can I remain in Lagos living on loans, enduring the traffic, living expensively and owing rent when I can go back to my own land, fix my 8 room apartment, amass rent, get a government job, rekindle old links and get free government healthcare and training, then live according to the little savings I have left. Everybody loves the glitz and glamour of Lagos, but it is not for everyone, everytime. Lagos will not be the first place to tactically push destitutes out, places like Beverly Hills and Cote d'Azure already exist. What's wrong with Lagos trying to be like them? Please, nobody should bring all those stories that Fashola wants to get rid of poor people in Lagos because it is very obvious he does. There's nothing bad about being rich. Get rich if you want to remain there. Some people will go to Lagos and live for 30 years, yet they're still poor. What exactly are poor people doing in an expensive city? Go home! |
I typed 2001. Why did I type 2001? KEN NNAMANI for president 2011. |
