And which part of Nigeria doesnt have its own share of poor and ignorant people. You talk as if Benue state is not located in Nigeria, or are you living in wonderland? Go to Lagos, you will see poor people who sleep under bridges, go to Abuja, you will see people living in slums that even my grand dad in the village will refuse to sleep in. Grow up, poverty and ignorance is all over Nigeria, and there are many states in Nigeria that Benue people are far off better than.

You can choose to be mischevious, that is your cup of tea. As far as I am concerned, about a third of every of Nigeria’s 36 states have HIV infection rates of over 5%, so the HIV pandemic is not limited to Benue. See source here

I have no problem with your views. However, what I was trying to say was that a true Christian (not a nominal Christian), struggling to live above sin, is conscious of his failings and works on his spiritual life to try and make it right with God with the aid of the Holy Spirit. This can not be equated to an unbeliever, who consciously mocks God and makes fun of Him.

Bon Scott (Singer) The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:  'Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the  highway to hell',  On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.

Campinas (IN 2005)  In Campinas   , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend,    The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter  holding her hand, who was already seated in the car:  'My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You, She responded: 'Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here, It' s Already Full ' Hours later, news came by that they had been  involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died,  the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could  have remained intact,  To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken.

  Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer) said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.  In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition  in her motor vehicle.

Many more important people have forgotten that there  is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of  Jesus.  Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.

Which parts of the country drinks more alcohol and womanise? is it not in Nigeria's cosmopolitan centres? how many cosmopolitan cities are there in Benue? I think it is a great disrespect on the hard working people of Benue who have been working to feed the Nation, as well as our great sons and daughters who are in the top echelons of Nigeria's ruling Government as well as the International community to utter such rubbish about our people.

The situation is not even the same with indigenious Christians in the north, go to Zamfara state and you will be shocked that indigent Christians in Kotor-koshi are been given the cold shoulder by the government.

Some scholars have made the case that the OT was written during the time of King Josiah (1800 BC). The stories were passed on through oral tradition for generations and where first written down during the reing of King Josiah of Judah.

The epic of Gilgamesh tablets dated to about 650BC while the OT was written around 1800BC. You cannot say the legend of Gilgamesh predates Noah’s flood because Genesis comprises narratives of historical events that occurred before Moses was born. Moses may very well have had access to patriarchal records and/or reliable oral traditions of these events. In that case, such records would certainly have been preserved by being written (probably on clay tablets) and handed down from father to son via the line of Adam-Seth-Noah-Shem-Abraham-Isaac-Jacob, etc.

There are 11 verses in Genesis which read, ‘These are (or ‘This is the book of’) the generations of …’ The Hebrew word toledoth translated ‘generations’ can also mean ‘origins’, ‘history’, or even ‘family history’, and each verse comes either before or after a description of historical events that involved the person named. The most likely explanation is that Adam, Noah, Shem, etc. each wrote or kept an account of the events that occurred either right before or during his lifetime, and Moses, under the infallible inspiration of the Holy Spirit, selected, compiled, and edited these to produce Genesis in its present cohesive form.

My evidence is the Bible . . . the undiluted word of God, and I proved it with the Bible. All you do is refer to a tablet, dated to 650BC and transmitted through myths and legends, why Moses recorded the event around 2000BC based on oral accounts passed on by the earlier ancestors. I can bet the story from the epic of Gilgamesh was copied from the oral accounts of the Biblical ancestors.

I never at anytime stated or implied that a sacrificed animal changed into anyone. If you are late for a meeting and you are asked to pay a fine for the 'misdemeanor', when you pay the fine, does it mean the fine has somehow turned into you?

When the Israelites were asked to sacrificed ANIMALS, what was of importance (and still of importance till date and will be of importance till the end of the world) to the Lord is the ACT OF REPENTANCE that the sacrifice symbolise. Something like 'Lord, I'm sorry for my misdeed. As a symbol of a contrite heart, I sacrifice this ANIMAL'.

If it was just the act of repentance that was of importance, then why give elaborate rules for the sacrifices? Why is it that blood had to be spilled? Why not just ask them to sacrifice just about anything? Why not sacrifice land, other assets etc in view of repentance? Have you stopped to ask yourself why blood of those animals had to be spilled?

So you see, it is not the blood but the state of the heart that matters. A heart of true repentance.

The choice of animals for sacrifice stemmed from the value the Israelites of that time placed on their livestock. It was their means of livelihood. So if they had to sacrifice something precious every time they step out of line, it will help to caution and guide them into making the effort to do right all the time.

If it was the value placed on livestock, that equally explained why God placed so much value on the life of His Son that He had to pay the supreme sacrifice for mankind with His life. If it was just the livestock and not they blood, why didn’t God instruct for live livestock to be sacrificed? Why is it that the livestock had to be killed, hence spilling blood?

The question is not whether God wanted (ANIMAL) blood to be spilled but whether he NEEDS (animal or HUMAN/DIVINE) blood to forgive or wash away sins. Emphasis on 'NEED'

If He didn’t need it, He wouldn’t have given such elaborate rules to be followed in sacrificing the animals.
