90% of muslims follow islam blindly, not knowing what they are in for. |
Look,God is not in need of any sacrifice before he can forgive sins.I honestly don’t like discussing with the dull ones. You said God do not require sacrifices to forgive sins, why then did He instruct the children of Israel to be sacrificing animals to him? Err? I understand your predicament: allah does not require any sacrifice to forgive sin, but YHWH certainly accepted sacrifice for atonement of sin right from the days of old. All what God wants is that people themselves should repent, leave their sins and pray to Him for mercy. GOD has very kindly told us that:but if a wicked man turns away from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all my statues and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.(Ezekiel 18:21)In the days of old, Jews were required to sacrificed animals to God and were required to go and sin no more, hence that verse, which you fail to quote the context in which it was written. God considered sin so serious that nothing less than death is equated with it. "The soul that sins shall die" (Ezekiel 18:4, from the chapter you quoted). We all sin. We all must die. The system of temple sacrifice of animals was designed to bring home the cost of sin to God's covenant people. This is what set them apart from the pagans. They could never drink blood because it symbolised life. They could never spill blood unlawfully because God would hold them to account for that. All those animal sacrifices were symbols pointing to the once-for-all-time sacrifice of God's beloved Son. But as it was God in Christ dying on Calvary, God was paying the price we ought to have paid for our sin! All He asks is for us sinners to believe that, to trust that He is good enough to pay the price and to put all our trust in what He has done. There are no more sacrifices needed, now the perfect sacrifice has been made. Your illustration is typical of someone who takes a light view of sin. Our Holy God takes sin entirely seriously. It alienates us from Him but as we are unable to bridge the gulf, He has done it Himself. The Father gave His Son for the world. He ought to have given the world for His Son - except, He loves us so much. i desire mercy and not sacrifice (matt. 9:13, 12:7). How can you know what God wants, when he says this? ?Jesus came to offer Himself up as the supreme sacrifice so that mercy shall abound. The sacrifice He offered on the cross is sufficient to save you and me, so, sacrifice is no longer desired from us, but we are now saved by grace! Moreover what sin are you having that he came to redeem from you that those before Jesus were not redeemed fromFrom the sin that entered the world through Adam’s transgression in the Garden of Eden. Hope mohammed did not plagiarise this Biblical account in to the Koran? |
@fellis; You muslims don’t cease to amaze me. Here are proves of your worship of mohammed: Tirmidhi relates, through his chain of narrators from 'Uthman ibn Hunayf, that a blind man came to the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and said, "I've been afflicted in my eyesight, so please pray to Allah for me." The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Go make ablution (wudu), perform two rak'as of prayer, and then say: "Oh Allah, I ask You and turn to You through my Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy; O MUHAMMAD (YA MUHAMMAD), I SEEK YOUR INTERCESSION with my Lord for the return of my eyesight [and in another version: "for my need, that it may be fulfilled. O Allah, grant him intercession for me"]." The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) added, "And if there is some need, do the same." (Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri, Reliance of the Traveller: The Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law (Umdat Al-Salik) in Arabic with facing English text, Commentary and Appendices, edited and translated by Nuh Hah Mim Keller [Amana Corporation; Revised edition, July 1, 1997], w40.3, p. 935; Do you see how Muhammad specifically instructed the blind man to address him directly in his prayer? The blind man wasn’t told to simply pray to Allah asking him to heal him on behalf of Muhammad. He was also directed to address Muhammad directly and personally ask him in the prayer to intercede for him. Here is another example of a Muslim praying to Muhammad long after the latter was dead: Moreover, Tabarani, in his "al-Mu'jam al saghir," reports a hadith from 'Uthman ibn Hunayf that a man repeatedly visited Uthman ibn Affan (Allah be pleased with him) concerning something he needed, but Uthman paid no attention to him or his need. The man met Ibn Hunayf and complained to him about the matter - this being after the death (wisal) of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and after the caliphates of Abu Bakr and Umar - so Uthman ibn Hunayf, who was one of the Companions who collected hadiths and was learned in the religion of Allah, said: "Go to the place of ablution and perform ablution (wudu), then come to the mosque, perform two rak'as of prayer therein, and say: 'O Allah, I ask You and turn to You through our Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy; O MUHAMMAD (YA MUHAMMAD), I TURN THROUGH YOU to my Lord, that He may fulfill my need,' and mention your need. Then come so that I can go with you [to the caliph Uthman]." So the man left and did as he had been told, then went to the door of Uthman ibn Affan (Allah be pleased with him), and the doorman came, took him by the hand, brought him to Uthman ibn Affan, and seated him next to him on a cushion. 'Uthman asked, "What do you need?" and the man mentioned what he wanted, and Uthman accomplished it for him, then he said, "I hadn't remembered your need until just now," adding, "Whenever you need something, just mention it." Then, the man departed, met Uthman ibn Hunayf, and said to him, "May Allah reward you! He didn't see to my need or pay any attention to me until you spoke with him." Uthman ibn Hunayf replied, "By Allah, I didn't speak to him, but I have seen a blind man come to the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) and complain to him of the loss of his eyesight. The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, "Can you not bear it?' and the man replied, 'O Messenger of Allah, I do not have anyone to lead me around, and it is a great hardship for me.' The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) told him, 'Go to the place of ablution and perform ablution (wudu), then pray two rak'as of prayer and make the supplications.'" Ibn Hunayf went on, "By Allah, we didn't part company or speak long before the man returned to us as if nothing had ever been wrong with him." This is an explicit, unequivocal text from a prophetic Companion proving the legal validity of tawassul through the dead. The account has been classified AS RIGOROUSLY AUTHENTICATED (SAHIH) by Baihaqi, Mundhiri, and Haythami. (Ibid., w40.4, pp. 936-937; |
^^^ See delusion at its best . . . you never answered any of my questions but was quick in accusing me of the same. Hahaha, you want to ask stupid questions about other religions and get answers, but never to answer any about your religion . . . hypocrite! |
. . . And which of the allahu akbar groups do you belong to? shi'ite? sunni? . . . . e.t.c. or the ahmadiyya movement who believed ahmad was a messiah? or dont you know the islamic sects? |
You were never a Christian, because God is a spirit and Christians worship Him in spirit and in truth. If you were a Christian, you would have recognised not to slander the Holy Spirit because Jesus Himself said that any body that grieve the Spirit will not be forgiven in this world or the one to come. Been a muslim by choice, have you ever seen mohammed? How can you choose to follow a dead person whose dead bones rotted away in an arabian grave against a Saviour that died and rose up? |
^^^^^^ Before I answer you, let me know your believes ; are you atheist or muslim? |
Isaiah 52:13-53:12 “See my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. Just as there were many who were appalled at him - his appearance was disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness - so will he sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand. |
@OP; The plan of the jews is to kill jesus christ because they think he is a false prophet. According to their law, a person who dies on the cross is an accursed of God(deut 21:23), and Jesus is not. If therefore the christian accept that jesus died on the cross, then the jews would be right for denying him, if they are not, then the christians should give an explanation for this. The funny thing about your post is that Christians have never denied the death of Jesus on the cross. The other funny thing is the scripture you quoted that any body who dies on a cross is accursed is also from the Christian Bible, and we never deny that, the reason been that the death of Jesus on the cross is the most amazing thing ever that God would do for us, especially since Jesus never committed any sin, so He BECAME a curse on our behalf: Galatians 3:13 "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree" Deut. 21:22-23*)" *Deuteronomy 21:22-23 "If a man has committed a sin deserving of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain overnight on the tree, but you shall surely bury him that day, so that you do not defile the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance; for he who is hanged is accursed of God." |
I wonder why athests/muslims are now desperate on seen Jesus . . . . una don see satan/mohammed do una? You will see Jesus if you cultivate a personal relationship with Him. |
^^^ There is no need taking a schizophrenic for real. I believe everybody should just ignore abuzola/abuzoooo. |
