This is the right time for govt to roll out busses using cng for mass transit just as been done in most countries where petrol is expensive. This is how things should be at least to save the environment.

this is not the first time other companies have been importing fuel into the country.. so it's nothing new. what they have to explain to us is how other countries are buying at far cheaper prices n market forces are not affecting them.

People should stop this propaganda. Mention countries that import petrol and sell to citizens at less $0.9. Nigerians need to realise that we don't produce refined petrol and we import it paying in dollars.

Tinubu has taken the best set of decisions since he became the president. Even the other candidates never say they would not remove subsidy. Anything or policy that will make Nigeria to stop borrowing in order to subsidize petrol consumption is highly welcomed. We can't eat our cake and have it. It is so obvious that Nigeria will go with the subsidy system going by the rate and amount of borrowing during Buhari government. This is positive economics as against normative economics. Unfortunate, many Nigerians don't understand the dangers ahead if we continue with subsidy regime.

This new price will surely favour me and my family. Tinubu is performing excellently well. He should just make sure that we are not borrowing to subsidise petrol again in Nigeria. We can't eat our cake and have it.

Any price that stop borrowing in order to subsidise is highly welcome. We can`t continue to borrow. Tinubu just make we are not in debt again.

The way these obedients reason sef is out of this world. A mathematics competition is organised by a foreign school to get 25 best students of mathematics in all the secondary schools in the 36 states and the FCT. I was one of the coordinators in Abuja. The 25 best students were gotten through 100 objective mathematics questions administered the same day and time in all the 36 states and the fct. Now, the argument is that if fct has a special status, it would have given a privilege of producing another set of 25 best students of mathematics. In most official statements or documents, it is very common to see the phrase " in all 36 states and the fct" meaning there are 37 entities in the narration.

Had Orientation camp at nsit atai and posted to etinan for PPA but left and then reposted to UNDP,Uyo. My service year experience is a memory of joy,fun and unlimited enjoyment. I joined a private sch as a vp and a subject teacher after my nysc about 20yrs ago. When i came in teachers were not being paid during holiday because of the student population and many parents are owing to a point that the proprietress has to take some to court. I went to court to represent the sch and i learnt a lot from the verdict the court gave. I told the proprietress to give me free hand to operate, and so i and the principal started an aggressive turnaround of the sch through marketing and strict school fee policy. Things began to change positively. We increased the sch fees by 30%, teachers salary by 20% and upgraded the facilities in the sch within one year. we made every teacher marketer to bring in at least 3 new students every session with a promise of monetary compensation. Some teachers brought 9 that session. The population rose from130 to 200. teachers were so happy because we made them co-owners of the sch.Their salaries are paid promptly even during holidays because the PTA supported us.
