The former leader of the Greater Life Christian Center in Toledo, Ohio was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday. According to reports, pastor Anthony Haynes groomed an underage girl to serve him sexually and then shared her with two other pastors.
Haynes pleaded with U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman to have mercy on him.

“I don’t deserve life. I don’t deserve life,” Haynes insisted during his sentencing, according to the Toledo Blade. “Like I said, I’ve been doing life for 27 months while I’ve been away from my children and this hurts … my need today is for you to have mercy on Anthony Haynes.”
At the time of the abuse, his victim was only 14 years old. Haynes is now 40 years old.
In 2017, Haynes was arrested given federal sex trafficking charges. He was charged along with 39-year-old Pastor Kenneth Butler of Kingdom Encounter Family Worship Center and 48-year-old Reverend Cordell Jenkins. Jenkins previously led Abundant Life Ministries.

According to court documents cited by ABC 13, Haynes, Jenkins, and Butler groomed and used an underaged girl for sex from 2014 to 2017. The Haynes family took the girl in after her mother could no longer provide for her. In 2014, when the assaults began, she was only 14 years old, and Haynes knew she had previously been a victim of sexual abuse.
Haynes would routinely pay the minor money after sex acts and threaten her about speaking out. He said that she should never say anything about their activities because it would ruin his family and his church.

Jeriah Mast, 37, of Millersburg, Ohio, has been formally charged with sexually abusing Amish and Mennonite youths in Ohio. A grand jury in Holmes County, Ohio, indicted Mast on Monday.

Mast, who worked for Christian Aid Ministries, based in Millersburg, Ohio, with a distribution center in Ephrata, was charged with more than a dozen sex crimes. He turned himself in to authorities Tuesday evening and is being held on a $250,000 bond.

Mast’s alleged abuse of five boys, dates back more than 15 years. The abuse allegations range from September 1999 to September 2008, according to the indictment.
[/b]Mast also has been charged with molesting youths in Haiti where he served as a missionary. On May 5, he fled Haiti and returned to his home in Holmes County, Ohio, after being confronted with allegations that he had sexually abused youths in the country. An anti-gay preacher has been arrested after confessing to his congregation that he had a sexual relationship with a young boy.

John Thomas Martin, lead pastor at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama, broke down in the pulpit while telling stunned churchgoers about his "affair" with an underage male. He admitted to abusing the boy on multiple occasions, both at his home and on trips. Martin also reportedly said he sent explicit text messages.
According to court documents, the victim claimed that on a camping trip to celebrate Martin's son's birthday, the pastor got into the victim's tent and touched him. Another time, Martin assaulted him in a van while on an overnight trip out of state. Martin was also a school bus driver for Florence City Schools and allegedly showed the boy nude photos of himself with a towel draped over his body.

After confessing to his congregation, Martin checked himself into a psychiatric unit at North Alabama Medical Center and turned over two guns. According to the sheriff's office, Martin had asked his wife to take his pistol earlier "because he had been holding it to his head and contemplating suicide."

The victim's name is being kept private but, according to the Lauderdale County sheriff, he was "in either 6th or 7th grade" the first time Martin sexually assaulted him..........................
