In fact, if you look at Dangote's investment pattern, you will see that he is a fully committed Lagosian and doesn't care much for his origin in Kano. Almost all his core investments are in the South West. He even decided to move his refinery to Lekki -- 300 miles away from any oil or gas source. If that is not a real lagosian, who is?

Even a core Northerner like Rabiu knew to make is refinery near the gas in Akwa Ibom. Dangote brought his to Lagos to please his sponsors
