I am glad because the client is an already much happy and satisfied with the paint and painting.
I am also especially very happy that the paint supply went on successfully and after some initial glitch with the previous painter, the painter I recommended is doing the finishing.
@ my chairmen, hajj Muftau and NL1960, this is the picture of the project you stood for me as reference and staked your reputation.
I am very grateful for your confidence in me. The project took so long to complete due to the level of work the of initial painter whom i wasnt involved with did but I was contacted just a few weeks back to inform my painter to come over for the finishing.
basically, it remains just a section of the fence and the skirting and those would be completed after the holidays with some few extra drums ordered.
I just had to quickly post the pictures I was able to get from the site with the consent of the client .
updates of the finishing would be posted with more pictures as son as the pictures are gotten.
I really appreciate the numerous support of these great men.

Normally, GTBANK debit Three times in Treasury bills investments..
One for invested amount the other two are for their different commissions....
I was only debited once in my savings Account which is the discounted invested amount that's why I'm confused.
And I'm not seeing it in my online Treasury bank account statement....that's what makes me even more confused...
This is my third investment in Treasury bills this year with GTBANK...... one Matured last Two weeks......Now this my latest investment isn't there i have to be worried naturally......I can only see the one that will be maturing October 19th......the 364 days which is my latest investment isn't there.
Check yours to confirm what I'm saying..
I want to know if it's General....

I understand now. I did not register for GTB internet banking. So do not use their online service. I was debited once for the discounted value and then sent an email on the details of the TB.

So, if you were debited and you did not get an email advice, then call your account officer or visit the branch.

Now iam confused. You have been asking for the rate saying that you were debited. Now you are insinuating that you have not been debited. So which is it because you could not have been asking for the rate used when you have not been debited.

Use this formula to determine your rate if you did 364 days

P = Principal

DA = Discounted Amount i.e. the amount you were debited

DI = Discounted Interest

T = Tenor

DI = P - DA

Rate(R) = ( DI / P ) * 100

Just got debited 16,354,016.44 naira.
My t bill investment was 20 million naira for 364 days with stanbic.
Waiting for mail from bank to tell me the rate but from the debit, it looks like between 18.2 and 18.3%

Principal(P) = 20,000,000.00

Discounted Amount(DA) = 16,354,016.44

Tenor(T) = 364 ( 1 year )

Discounted Interest(DI) = 20,000,000.00 - 16,354,016.44 = 3,645,983.56

Rate(R) = ( DI / P ) * 100 = ( 3,645,983.56 / 20,000,000.00 ) * 100 = 0.182299178 * 100 = 18.23%

Rate(R) = 18.23% or 18.2%

Btw, i do not use GTB internet banking as i do not really do any transaction on the account. It was opened for a deposit purpose.

Relax. Today is end of month for the banks and also tomorrow and Monday is public holidays. Too many things for banks to do today.

Is your main concern the rate or the fact that you succeeded?. My primary target is first and foremost the success of the bid. If you do not have 50m, you cannot dictate rate.

One debit to my savings account. It is confusing for now. That is why i did not bother to calculate the rate. A lump sum which i believe also included the charges was debited. I will wait for the TB advise details to get the rate. Iam more particular about it succeeding as i want to add the discount amount to my Stanbic that matured yesterday to bid for the next action at Stanbic.

Please Sir I need some enlightenment, the information from the internet about treasury bills is in conflict with those from nairaland. Hence I need answers from an experienced Person like you Sir. Please kindly explain what I stand to gain and how I get to gain if I should invest 100k in T-bills. Any one can comment provided you are speaking from Experience not from theory.

If you want to partake in Wednesday August 30 primary auction, ensure you fill and submit their form by tomorrow because going there to fill it on Tuesday might dicey.

I have used Stanbic for my secondary market and they didn't give me my 364 days request, therefore I'm considering opening a FirstBank account if they will give me the maximum days.

I doubt you can get 364 days secondary market in any bank. The maximum tenor for NTB is 364. Somebody cannot be buying on a particular day and also selling on that same day.

GTB matured NTB alert received at 3:57am. Make then enjoy the money small for the next 2 weeks before i go for a 364-day.

If you had gone on Wednesday as he told you, he will now say that application has closed and then advised you to fix it till the next bidding date which is 2 weeks away.

When he saw i knew what i wanted, he angrily told me to come back on wednesday 16/8/2017 that there will be primary market opening that day. As a newbie, when should i arrive the bank? What and what should i ask for and what should i expect? I dont want to sell myself out as a novice on that day. Please hint me sirs. I know u guys have answered similar questions b4. If you go on Wednesday, nothing for you because applications for TBs have to be submitted through the branches latest 2 days working before the TB auction date and Wednesday is the auction date. Just make sure you are at their doorstep on Monday morning as they open their doors and tell him to give a primary auction TB form to fill. Do not fill your own rate. Go with the bank rate.

It actually worked for one but didn't work for the older one. My 2nd son seems to have inherited my love for books. Even if it's newspaper, he will read. He always has a book with him even when going to play ball. But the first one, hmmm that one na real work. To even sit down and read to him is a problem but he wants me to make up stories about giants, Spiderman, etc but doesn't want to be read to at all. My baby no even send me. I have enough board books to set up a mini bookstore but he is totally uninterested. Just interested in chewing on them and using them to test his aim.

I have stepped up especially for this holiday. They are on a tight schedule. Just that they will travel this weekend and i know their grandparents will scatter everything. They must read and then summarise to me everyday. When i read my first son's summary, i had to laugh. He just told the stories from the pictures, obviously didn't read the book and used the worst handwriting i have ever seen (maybe to confuse me).

It has reached praying levels o. They must love to read. It is non-negotiable.

I know the place as i live around the area. I was constantly doing my car service, alignment and balancing with them and i normally do it almost every 3 months. It was not price that made me to stop. I was fine with their services and charges. Maybe, i will go back even though iam also fine with where iam currently doing my servicing.

Yes o. I support you. Just go there and begin tear your p*nt, boxer, singlet, stockings, shoes and shokoto for them.
