LebanonCedars2: Haba bros! Do you think nothing good could ever come out of our own Nazareth, our obodo NigeriaGood response and insights. The guy that did my POP is a Senior Lecturer in a Poly. He did for a friend and when i asked the friend, i was shocked when he said that the guy is a Senior Lecturer at a poly. Gone are the days when these type of jobs were left for the uneducated. Skills is the other of the day now and that is why i so much like the Germans. |
mufutau55: I have sent you email with explanations and photos to your direct email address. Thanks Hajji. I got all the pictures and explanations. You are too much. If that your H-beam of that height can be mounted with gravel, i see no reason why mine which is galvanized steel and of a lesser height cannot be mounted with gravel. |
mufutau55: Sorry for the lateness.. I overlooked this. Thanks Hajji. I have been looking for your mail but could not get it on your profile. Iam a little bit confused on this concrete thing. I guess the concrete was done with gravel and cement. My stand was done with 3 inches galvanized pipe. So i was expecting that the hole to be dug will not be wide and just gravel and cement would have been enough for the holes only to be told granite and they said 8 wheel barrows of granite. No vex for this too much question. I had to suspend the mouthing because of what i was told in order to ask questions here. Please let me have your email so that i can send you a mail. I have sent you a message through Nairaland email system. |

spyder880: More work done on the finish of this house.Oga spyder880, i want to mount my water tank stand which is like the one shown in this picture and i was told that i need to use granite. Buying a tipper load is out of the question as the remaining will not be used. I was now told that i will need eight( wheel barrows of granite to do this. Is there an alternative to using granite and if there is no alternative, is eight( barrows not too much considering that three(3) feet will be underground?.@Hajji, you can also share your experience on the one you did.

segzy14: client: A Nairalander(Rarelaone)The entrances to the 3 bedroom and the mini flat are on the same side. For somebody that want to build this, live in the 3 bedroom and rent out the mini flat, will this same side entrances not intrude on privacy?. |

Demainman1: @Prof Spyder, I love this water tank stand. Pls what material is used? and what is the estimated cost sir? Also add the height i.e. total height and height above ground level. I want to believe that galvanized steel was used in the construction of the stand. If so, is it 2inches or 3 inches?. |
Sent you a mail. |
segzy14:I get the drift and explanation. I guess access to the BQ compound will be through the main gate of the Duplex compound and there will now be a small gate access to the BQ compound. |
segzy14: more pics: side view of the 4 bedroom duplex and front view of the boys quartersNice one Sam. A portable and cute design fit for a 'President'. Just a little observation. Why is the back of the BQ facing the back of the Duplex?. I though the front of the BQ should be face the back of the duplex because if this is to be built, the BQ is likely to be at the back of the plot while the Duplex is on the front of the plot.

spyder880: Roofing is not easy on costs, everything about the roof is expensive. My people have a saying that 'a building is four (4) walls and a roof and that once you roof, you can start sleeping in it'. That is why you see farmers struggling to roof and once that is done, they will just use zinc to cover the window and door and they will move in. Na from roofing that finishing starts. |
mufutau55: I think my Papa and your Papa are brothers..Yes ke. Na Adam and Eve born the two of them now. ![]() |
gbadexy: Has the painting started sir.Not yet. It is billed to be done this month. The rains have been delaying a lot of the finishing works before the painting. Iam hoping to use the normal August break rains if at all we have this year to do it. |

Fhemmmy: We have seen that my Brothers and Sisters in Nigeria has shifted to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING Lexus . . . . Se we present you a thread where you could make all your inquiries on LEXUS.I have also been seeing and noticing this Lexus craze. Is it that the car is that good or is it that it is cheap?. That was how the craze over Opel (aka poor man benz) started. |
Qc1: ^^^yo men. who told you iam a young blood?. You can now see that you are behaving like the 'typical' Nigerian of just assuming. We have a saying in my place that goes 'wetin concern vulture with plaiting of hair'. So nothing concern me. It is your money, your project and your house. you are free to spend it the way you like and you are also free to 'reject any condemnation in Jesus name. Amen'. ![]() |
Jamesqu: Chineke God of Umuahaia! Why are you bothering yourself to shout 'Chineke God of Umuahaia!'?. This is the typical mentality of most Nigerians. Iam sure that when Brabus told him the same thing, he must have also said that he rejected it in Jesus name and iam sure he even called his Pastor to come and bind and cast out all evils from what will make the fence to fall down. Na the fence keeps falling down and he keeps patching it and he is even not ready to learn from the experience of another. |
mufutau55: Sorry about that... Lateness due to Time differential... I hate that Spambot guy sometimes, sometimes it has no reason for the ban.If the spambot is not there, how will you guys know that the Software Developer is working?. The Software Developer needs to make you guys remember him/her now. |
spyder880: I will not mind a copy of that machine as a surprise gift for madam at Xmas, Chai! Man need to increase the hustlingNa so i dey my own jeje dey hustle to finish my project before xmas so that i can relax. That is how some busy bodies started harassing me that if i have to open the house during xmas, i must not come home and use my present 'tuke tuke' to open the house but must come home with a machine. Fear dey catch me now to complete the project before xmas as i do not have money for a machine. E be like say i go take style delay the completion so that i can at least go home during xmas with the 'tuke tuke'. ![]() |

Come see as this neighbour that does not like going on weekends come dey go out with family since on Sunday. E go better. Need to hustle more. |
spyder880: Building this whole house, ( except for the land,) all materials, labour, supervision and site management will cost about N25 million naira. This includes the finishing works, plastering and designing works, windows and doors, tiles and POP, toilet facilities and electrical works, including wires and fittings, kitchen and wardrobe fittings and other conditions we might agree to.Soup wen sweet, na money make am. |
annie123: LOVE HOOKe be like say you miss road o. Abi, you no sabi read?. This is property forum and not dating forum. |
