TopeMel:Those 4 classes is for you to pay more and parents especially women do not want their children to grow up. They want to start boasting to their neigbours that their child is already schooling at the age of 12 months even though such a child is finding it difficult to say daddy and mummy. When i decided to leave my son at home till he was 3 years before he starts school, my wife was mad because his juniors have all started school but i maintained my stand. He started from Nursery one at 3 years because he was born in September. The school did not want to admit him into Nursery 1 but into reception 1 saying that he cannot draw nor write and i told them that the required age for Nursery 1 is 3 years and if they are not admitting him into Nursery 1, i was going to take him elsewhere and that was it and he was admitted into Nursery 1 at 3 years old. He is going to enter JSS 1 by September this year whereas those that started before him are still in Primary school. He passed the Entrance of the 4 competitive schools he took. In Summary, iam a great advocate of allowing a child's brain to develop before being pushed to school. |
@OP, this is normal especially for a daughter and father. My wife has accused me several times of loving our daughter more than her. I normally laff and jokingly tell her that she is now old school while the girl is the new school. Your girl is just a year old and your wife is already complaining. Just brace up and your wife should also brace up because the affection from your daughter is going to increase as she grows older. My wife is already smiling at the prospect of our daughter entering secondary school boarding house next year. To her thinking, that will reduce the competition. |
emzila:This OP is not serious. You want to date a lady with a child and you think you can bypass the child. No way. Get the trust of the child first by being friendly with her and you will see what will happen. When i was in the dating game and i want to date a lady and i see her having siblings, nieces and nephew, i first of all become very friendly with them. I will just bounce in and announce that iam taking them out. They will then be the one doing the chasing for me. |
brabus:Thanks. |
brabus:Thanks. Iam actually asking about name and address location so that i can pay a visit to the place. The price is ok for me. |
brabus:@brabus. Please where did you get this from and at what price.

geesampower:During the raining season as we are currently where there might not be sun light on a particular day, how will the batteries being charged by sun light?. |
Aikon:Yes ke. I will even over concentrate. We had one that was finer and more endowed than this taking Chemistry then when i was in secondary school. It made many people to now like Chemistry and people were not missing her classes. We all went on to make good grades in Chemistry in WAEC. |
KlaireKlement:Interesting. This is a branch of Medicine from what i have read online. Why not try the hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. I also saw online that your field has a society organization. You can go there and interact with them for more information. Use this link: http://www.physocnigeria.org/ |
KlaireKlement:What course and what level?. If you cannot get any job to do, you can enroll for professional courses in your field of study. |
century106:How much can possibly complete this BQ as it is. I like the design. |
century106:I noticed that the toilets are being accessed from the halls. Any reason for this?. I thought they could have been accessed from the bedrooms. |
mufutau55:Very very interesting. Just imagine if the 'wicked' Architect ihebrooke now constructs the 'wicked' and 'bad' designs he produces. Omo, i no wan imagine wetin the building go be yet. |
christobabee:The question is 'what was you career goals while studying Computer Science?. If you did not have any, no cause for alarm. It now depends on the area or aspect of computing you are now looking at. If you want to go into programming and software development, you can do a professional course in Java. If you want to go into Database Administration, you can do a course in Oracle and Linux. If you want to go into Networking, you can do a CCNA course. If you want to go into IT support, you can do a course in Project Management (PMP). |
kodyx:I know about Lumen christi very well and iam also from Edo. A girl is following my boy and she will likely enter secondary school next year. So i have to take her into consideration. If the boy goes to Lumen christi, the sister school to Lumen christi is Presentation Benin and i have not really heard much about them and i do not think that they have been able to catch up with Lumen christi. Another consideration is that on a visitation day for boarders, the logistics of moving between Uromi and Benin will be too much because both schools operate the same structure. Anyway, my boy is going to Saint Gregory, Ikoyi which is also a Catholic school while iam projecting Holy Child which is the sister school of Saint Gregory for the girl. |
kodyx:Not really easy. To make it easy for you, i guess you originally had a first choice, second choice and third choice before your son started writing the various examinations. That was what i did which helped me to easily choose when my son started passing all the schools i took the forms. He passed Lumen Christi in Uromi but distance consideration made it to drop from first choice. |
derespect:The first thing that these religious or missionaries school teach you is disciplined. There are always a set of rules and regulations that have to be strictly followed and obeyed and such rules and regulations are no respecter of anybody even if you are the child of the President. So when you see that there is no preferential treatment for you, you have no choice than to be serious. This is where such schools have an edge over the private schools. My son went to do the entrance examination into one of the missionaries schools. He told me that two boys that were making noise and disturbing to the extent of drumming on the desk in the examination class were told to come out and kneel down in front of the class after being warned not to to disturb. |
barcanista:My son has just gotten JSS1 admission into Saint Gregory's College, Lagos after passing the entrance and interview. I have always admired that school. He is also on course to pass the NCEE interview into Kings college, Lagos. Still not yet made up my mind on which to go for between Saint Gregory and Kings College. Btw, iam a product of the Unity schoool having gone to a a Federal Government college. |
247mike:Yes. Use this link to check the result. http://www.fmeinterviewtest.com/ |
Chuxxy4me:Are there places in Apapa and Ketu that you can recommend for this digital alignment?. |
Chuxxy4me:Do the digital alignment people know that they have to check for this mud and pebbles or do i have to tell them to check for them. |
GAZZUZZ:Thanks. Will doing a total wash of the vehicle remove this dried up mud?. There are times i do a total wash of the car i.e. engine, boot, inside and body. |
I normally travel on my Toyota Corolla 2007 model (Bank Type) bought brand new in 2007. During the last Easter break and this weekend when i traveled, i noticed that when iam on between 110 - 120km/h, it starts vibrating. The vibration starts stopping once it is passing 120km/h. It does not vibrate when iam doing 130-140km/h. It is very smooth from that speed. This is strange. What could be the problem?. I normally do balancing and alignment before i travel. |
EfeEj:Nice gate. Will save this for future. How much does the construction of a gate like this cost?. Will not mind a full pic of this gate. |
Olori:Thanks. It seems they just posted the time table link as i checked it all through yesterday and even this morning. |
Olori:Thanks. Please can you paste the link to the NECO site?. It seems i have been checking a wrong one as iam yet to get any useful information. |
This Saturday April 25, 2015 is the National Common Entrance Examination and is also the last Saturday of the month which means it is environmental sanitation for Lagos state. Will the environmental sanitation be cancelled for the entrance examination. |
SmartHomes:@SmartHomes . It seems one the balconies on the top flat opens to a window. How will somebody access such a balcony?. |
skimanski:What is the name and colour of this board and will it be used for the wardrobe.
|
skimanski:No wonder. Iam sure you have a link to the famous bronze casters in Benin kingdom or you must have been going to Igun road to watch them do their artistic magic. ![]() |
enrilove12:Something like that especially for the fence. The gate here is half covered. Still considering whether to go for this or the one that is fully not covered. |
