Are there records of literatures....not necessarily in English or any European script...but in any other known writing or symbolism or expression?
Do you know of any? huh

Subsaharan African history is verbal oratory.

Writing system has always been an outside influence because we dont believe it should be ephemeral.

Nice thread OP. Let me add,

How many are you in your family?

If he is the FIRST SON from a family of 10 and the last 3 are still in school. They will assume their daughter has 3 children before she even born one. The inlaws will most likely see her as a competition or stumbling block. It is not easy being married to the pillar of a home.

Your siblings?

Igbo fathers be like "Umunne gi kwanu?"
He doesn't just want to hear "ahu di ha mma", he wants to hear their profile too.

"Oh, my elder brother is a doctor in the US. My younger sister works with FIRS. The one after her is an engineer in Shell"...IMPRESSIVE!

Your daughter has chances of going to the abroad to give birth. Also, when everybody in a family is doing well, phone dey ring, family dey call, you no go dey fear to pick am. Christmas in the villa would be like getaway. Not umu Remigius mere nka, ha me nka. Ana akoheri.

Where do you base?
Naija parents don't like their daughters going too far, especially Igbos. They want where they can easily come for omugwo. This far distance doesn't include abroad o. Abroad is not far at all.

It will also help them know where their daughter has been going all the while she didn't return home for ASUU strike.

If you wan see where Naija alpha male humble, take him to your father. E go ask you mumu question for doormot. Should I remove my slippers? You'll be like "baby just enter!!!" grin
Not everybody in the US is a doctor sweetie.

Some people still make it without being one.

I did a double take, at your "since Adam and Eve remained alive after God told them they would surely die[/b] if they ate the fruit (they actually lived longer than almost everybody after them)," comment then had a boisterous smh A&E laugh at your expense, lol. Smh, do you know that the second I was born, I start already dying, lol.

nlPoster forget for a moment, wanting people's opinion, hmm? Why not let's discuss and/or share facts, erhn, lol?
1/ Do you know that about 300 million cells, die every minute in my body, lol?!
2/ nlPoster, do you know that, by the time I finish reading this sentence, 50 million of my cells will have died, lol, hmm?
3/ Why do cells die, lol?
4/ Please mention, one by one, a number of things, I understand is/are associated with death.
5/ Do I agree and/or accept that human beings from the moment he/she is born, starts the "surely die" process (i.e. slowly dying), lol?

nlPoster, this needs a moment of mastication, as in meaning to grind, crush and chew it up, so let's leave it ,at these five questions, for now, lol

PS: nlPoster, the reason why A&E along with others lived so long, as in meaning, actually lived longer than almost everybody after them, was because after A&E opening the "Pandora box", the full force of diseases etcetera, that causes death, werent felt, as it, of course, took some time for such things as that, to emerge and then increase, so this explains the reason for the longevity of Adam and Eve (i.e. A&E) Another crucial point and observation, is the climatic condition. It was favourable during A&E's time but declined after the flood, hence the reason for the shorter life spans during and/or after Noah's period.

Neither. Not either God lied or that the record in the Bible is corrupted.

God, in fact, lol, was spot on the money, lol. God was exactly correct and very accurate when He said A&E will "surely die". We all are dying slowly. We are living a fading and/or die away existence, lol. We are gradually coming to an end, lol. In a slow and gradual way, we are achieving the definite result prophesied by God, lol
Open a thread to discuss your obsession with death and dying. Seems you have something on your mind, perhaps people can help you with therapeutical contributions.

You appear very tense and anxious, agitated, restless, jittery, worked up.

@ original post

Unless the lion was imported or brought from somewhere, there are no larger animals in the wild in southern Nigeria.

Efforts are being made to reintroduce them (eg elephants) however.

I dont know if it has reached the point where they (wild animals) would be comfortably standing by the side of the road gazing at cars and people passing by.

A lot of people take statements out of context and begin to condemn ignorantly. He is saying masturbation is a sin except that the act is not the main sin but the imagination that leads to it.Meaning that you may not even do the act but the fact that your mind is feasting on lust you are already commiting it.
Pls get things clearly before jumping into conclusions. This is plain English nau.
I didnt read the post but it seems like you are referring to pornography if I'm construing you correctly.

Moreover, responding to you is not mutually exclusive to focusing on so-called "fans".

In other words, I can achieve the latter while addressing the former ---- that is, while quickly niping my potential misinformation in the bud.

I see no reason why I should be mad at me for my inability to provide evidence, proof, or reason to substantiate my (obviously misleading) claim.
