Yuneehk: What the northerners call Dabino. It's called Dates in English. It's a natural sweetener, and very healthy as it's packed with nutrients. Some chew it like that, while it can also be used to sweeten drinks. I personally do not like eating it like that, but use it for Kunu Aya. Unique lady |

Is it because Ortom is PDP? Ortom decamped from APC to PDP and won his re-election under PDP, same as Obaseki of Edo. |

Maybe betting is not meant for you, between 2021 and now, I have won over 6 million naira in football betting. You have to check the stats. and do a lot of fundamental analysis before placing a bet, it is something that you need to sit down and learn properly. Football betting is like forex trading, they both need careful analysis and both can give you profit or life threatening losses. |
Politics › Re: Crude Oil Price: MAN Warns Of Hyper Inflation, Subsidy Hits ₦400, Diesel, ₦625 by Nnannapat(m): 2:59pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
backbencher: FG Needs To Stop Subsidy Regime -Marketers To address the continued rise in the prices of refined petroleum products as well as subsidy, oil marketers insisted that it was high time that the government stopped the petrol subsidy regime, as well as fix the country’s refineries.
“This situation has again showed why it is so important for us to get our refineries working and start refining our own crude here in Nigeria,” Gillis-Harry stated.
I will blame Buhari for this...had he removed subsides in 2015, by now we would have had domestic refining in some capacity. He did not, here we are in 2022, exposed to the aftereffects.
I also blame GEJ for not being bold enough to tell them protesters in 2012 to go and sit down, and raised prices to N140. By now, we would have also had refineries
And yes, I blame all of our past leaders...Gowon for bringing in the idea of subsides, and IBB for now removing them in 1993, when it was first suggested, for instance.
Now here we are....keep on paying for subsides , while they keep rising (from N50 some years ago to N400 now) or remove them, and get higher prices.
Anyways, subsidy needs to go. The bulk of the blame goes to Buhari, he failed to build even if it is just 1 new refinery, about 30% of all his borrowings should have been channeled to new refinery construction but corruption and nepotism beclouded his sense of reasoning. Blaming any of the past leaders is a waste of energy, there is an Igbo adage that says "Oma taa ma gboo" ( He who realised today, is still on time). Nigeria can get a brand new refinery built and finished in 18-24 months from now if the political will is there. Any Nigerian that supported subsidy before or still supports it is a fool, Subsidy is a conduit pipe that any government in power uses to corruptly enrich themselves to the detriment of poor Nigerians, Buhari's government own is even worse, our daily consumption of PMS jumped from 30 million in 2015 to almost 90 million litres today. All these because we are paying subsidy on PMS. Nigerians should brace for impact, cos it is going to be very very tough going forward. |

Please can someone remind this man that the size of a state or nation doesn't translate to productivity and prosperity, resilient and intelligent people are the bedrock of every prosperous nations all over the world.
Chad is almost 3 times the size of Cameroon, but the GDP per capita of Cameroon is around 1500 USD, while that of Chad is about 700USD, Cameroon's external reserve is around 4 billion USD, while that of Chad is around 300 million USD, Yaounde is light years ahead of Ndjamena in terms of infrastructure.
If Nigeria disintegrates tomorrow, North West might turn out to be Chad, while South East may be like Cameroon. |

I only posted my name and other details were cancelled out. Thanks for your observation. Don't mind all those over sabi busy body, if you are not into crime or do not intend to be in the nearest future, why should you be afraid of outsiders knowing your full details. Most celebrities and politicians full names and even home towns and state of origins were known to the public, so have they suffered identity theft? Baba to your question, if you need Nigerian Passport urgently, better go for the 64 pages 10 years variants( the demand is low, so the booklet is always available) you can get it done in 5 days in any Northern states capital, Don't pay online, just pay what they ask you to pay on the spot, I did mine in Kano for 70K and it took only 4 days. |
Crime › Re: Someone Stole My Phone And Withdrew Over N180k From My Account Within 3hrs by Nnannapat(m): 6:23pm On Nov 19, 2021 |
Sim lock is simply the answer to all these, once your sim is PIN protected, and there is a PIN, password or fingerprint lock on the phone, there is nothing that can be done to access your sim, except you shared your sim PIN with a loved one.
When the criminals steals your phone and realised that it is locked, they will remove the sim, thereby activating sim lock automatically, they will now insert the sim on their operational phone, and the sim will request for PIN which they don't have. So their efforts to get the sim active can only block the sim, so in that case no access to the sim. Case closed |

tunjilana: Yorubas spoke with one voice...
Fought Babangida till he handed over to an interim...Then they sponsored Nadeco...fought the entire return to democracy thing and struggled massively with Abacha... And even after PDP "gave" the ticket to yorubas(To compensate for Abiola)as u said...the yorubas still floated their own party AD and supported it massively...then got into an alliance with ANPP on their own terms....that AD was later massacred by Obasanjo and PDP in 2003 but it managed to metamorphosize into AC and then ACN which later merged with CPC as one massive bloc to berth APC
On the flip side..South East cannot even properly float and massively support APGA and create one Bloc worth negotiating with. Even in PDP where most of them are, they cant rally around one credible candidate and speak with one voice the same way the Southwest bloc will either give it to Tinubu or Osinbajo when the dust settles....see politics is about unity.... If the Igbos rally round and show clearly that they have a candidate they are willing to absolutely support...other politicians will be forced to negotiate with the SE and the presidency will be achieved or closer to being achieved.....it is not by arm twisting or arguing....it is about setting ur house in order and picking a leader which u will support regardless of his flaws.... Please if I may ask, what has that rallying round and speaking with one voice to achieve victory in Nigerian politics done to an average Yoruba man? Absolutely nothing, only impoverishment, hopelessness, gloomy future, sorrow, tears and blood. Most of you really don’t know the Igbo man well, we have this innate belief that equity ,justice and fairness are inborn in every man, and that by being a leader of a nation, all the good virtues will manifest effortlessly from you, but reverse is always the case in Nigeria. The Igbos are too bad in playing Nigerian politics because we are not naturally empowered to gather and plan against equity and fairness, most Igbos are like the Chinese people, we don’t really care who leads the country, as long as the country is making steady progress and there is fairness in every thing we do as compatriots. Nigeria will never make progress even if Northerners and South-westerners rules after each other indefinitely, the core ingredients of great nationhood is lacking in Nigeria, we are too divided to form a progressive nation. Until we discard this current constitution, then come together to decide our future, even if the Baale, or Chief of your village becomes the President of Nigeria, nothing will change. |

Safyqueen: Your English is disgusting, I knew why I made that example. It is the smallest, simplest example in a chaotic but disarrayed atmosphere. If someone that can write the way I just did is an illiterate then I wonder which dictionary or the school you attended.
In a family, society or sovereignty where mutual love and respect is lost due to whatever reason, you cannot predict the possible outcomes. Your Kogi examples are very wrong,
You hates the north and you want them to love you and you still claim academic sophistication over them, just wondering anyway.
So anyone who is not western is not civilised. Check your DNA. Not everyone is interested in American green card for example too. There are beggers in US.
Moreover, 500 naira can give me a plate of food with meat in Kano while the equivalent in dollars cannot give in those countries. Your Kogi example is very wrong, you don’t get taxed by the Benin republic and the Togolese government while traveling through their country to Ghana from Nigeria, rather they tax goods and services that emanates from their various country that you are interested in. The North can look inward and generate a lot of revenue from her huge population. But if they are looking at retaliatory taxation of the South if the VAT issue goes in favour of the South, they can impose a levy of say 50,000 per truck of farm produce that originates from their various states, while the South will equally do so on petroleum products, imported goods and machinery and farm produce that originated from theirs, that way it will be a win win situation for everyone. Nobody hates the North, just that the North needs to wake up and partner with the South to modernize governance, Nigeria can’t continue like this. |
