stayclearofme:ABBA Kyari detained Vincent in their illegal cell for a month plus when Hushpuppi told him that Vincent was trying to collect his "client" from him. Vincent was detained illegally to pave way for the "business" of defrauding a Qatari business man of over $1.1 million. Vincent has already contacted the man to warn him that they are about to hit him, Kyari arrested him and kept him incommunicado for over 30 days, so that Hush can finish his "job". |
For those asking if an American can be extradited to Nigeria if we have a valid court order indicting their citizens. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-56248558 ens. |
Monogamy:Oga, DCP Abba Kyari has admitted that the said Vincent was arrested and detained by his men,for “ trying to kill Hushpuppi’s family “. FBI reliable gathered that Vincent was detained for more than 30 days before being released, without being charged to court for any offense. Any living soul that has an iota of conscience in him cannot and will never defend Abba Kyari. Just for detaining Vincent alone for more than the stipulated time allowed in our laws for “no reason”, just because a criminal in Dubai asked you to do so, is enough proof to send Kyari behind bars for a long time here in Nigeria. Stop supporting evil for the sake of your future generations. |
doggedfighter:This is a technical knock out, abeg have mercy on Abdul biko |
Sugardick:You defrauded her sexually. |
I watched Sanwo-olu's live interview on Arise TV on democracy day ( June 12), and I can confidently say that he is super intelligent and humane. Take aside the yoke of godfatherism, he will achieve a lot. |
Onlinefarmstore:OK bro |
Onlinefarmstore:Can I have your WhatsApp contact, I have a truck that I am want to put into use, I want to start agro produce distribution. |
Teetee777:Hausa language is not a problem, you can still get the best from the market, just be friendly to those "dilali" (market middle men) they will help you out, just use your sense and always bargain heavily. I am based in Lagos and will like to link up with you, I have something big that I am planning for Lagos market in agro produce distribution. |
Honestly, this is the only positive thing that the Buhari administration can beat their chest for, they deserve some accolades in this sector. For those saying that Amechi will be super rich from this, I am a logistics partner to CCECC and I can tell you that Amechi can only get periodic seasonal gifts from them and nothing more, all the funds for this projects are tied and are being released in phases after a certificate of conformity has been issued by Amechi's ministry and the project consultant. Amechi is seriously doing this work for posterity sake. This is the best model of infrastructural funding from China and it will develop Africa and help us a lot. The funds has a firewall against embezzlement and corruption. God bless China |
@the OP, you are a good guy, all what you are writing here will go a long way to help anyone that wants to venture into grains business, I lived in the north for 14 years (from my teenage years) and speaks Hausa fluently,I am Igbo and business has taken me to virtually all the states in the north. North East and Central are the food basket of the north, forget all the noise that the North west makes all the time, they only know politics while the main riches of the north is in the North East and North Central. Taraba state is a hidden treasure for agro business, last year I was at Mutum biyu, Garba chede, Mayo kam, Mai hula, Bali, Mararaba, Takum, I even went as far as the fringes of the Mambilla mountains buying soya beans. Niger and Adamawa states are next on my list of criss crossing this year by God's grace, heavy agricultural business thrives in those states. |
shariff84:I will contact you soon, I need a reliable person in Niger that can work with me in grains business, especially sesame seed, I will chat you up when I am set |
Is it me or did anyone else noticed that so many dormant monikers were reactivated on Nairaland to defend this retrogressive government immediately after the twitter ban? Just say piim against the government and they will all pounce on you. LAI MUHAMMED, we know that you are behind all this nuisance here, but just bear it in mind that nothing lasts forever. |
JohnSin97:Bro, for you to say that there will be response from your own end is commendable. Now, can't you see that we Igbos and Yorubas are fighting the same enemy? If you resort to self defence you will be arrested and tagged a terrorist, if you wait for them to do the needful, your entire village with be wiped out. Let the Southerners unite and approach this menace with the same vigour that it required. |
joyandfaith:Leave them, they only wish to be like China when it comes to free speech but don't wish for China when it comes to swift and decisive justice. Do you know that it was a local county (government)police that arrested Bo Xilai ( jailed former transport minister of China) and he was also tried in a local county(government) court and was jailed for life? |
Difrent:The difference is that they don't have the power to ban Adamu Garba's app but they can use their individual right of free speech to bring his app down, and the problem here is that their numbers are in millions. |
maasoap:So many Americans reported Trump's speech as inciting on the the same medium that he used after properly going through what he was saying, that is why it was deleted and as he continued, more and more people continued to express their own counter speeches on that same medium and others equally, and at the end more people were won over to the side of those against Trump and all his attempts failed and he was banned from using those mediums. That is the beauty of free speech |
maasoap:Free speech is the right of every individual to express him/herself with any medium readily available to him/her, there is nothing like hate / inciting speech in free speech, it is the targeted audience that will decide if the speech is hateful or inciting. Hope this helps? Coming to where you are heading to, you cannot stop a mad man or woman from talking, it is only when the mad man/woman has finished talking that you can address the same audience that he/she talked to and make them to see reasons to believe that he/she is truly mad. This is an ample demonstration of free speech |
All these Buhari supporters cheering him on, and his cabinet members, the likes of Lai Muhammed, Femi Adeshina, Garba Shehu and the host of others that earned their living from the media yet supported him on this evil trend of gagging free speech, do they really understand the weight of this devilish precedent that Buhari is setting today? If, and only if Nigeria surmounts the present challenges and elections holds in 2023 and PDP happens to win, all these laid down templates will be heavily deployed against them to the extent that no media platforms will be allowed to air their interviews or press releases. Power is transient, and should be used judiciously when one has the opportunity. |
Coldie:This goes to show that you guys don't want meritocracy in Nigeria, So landmass and population are the only yardstick to measure and implement modes of governance in a multi-ethnic country like Nigeria. You will agree with me that Nigeria copied the American Federal system of government but fails to copy the American way of multi-ethnic inclusiveness in governance and that is why we are moving backward. The US state of Alaska is almost 70 times the size of State of New Jersey, if it is in Nigeria, Alaska will then have about 310 Senators representing it, while New Jersey will have 3. With this kind of mindset, this Nation can never move forward, If the North cherishes there landmass and population so much, they should key into quest for regionalism so that they can use their landmass and population positively to better the lot of their people. |
Coldie:We are not really clamouring for state creation, we just want equity and fairness in the scheme of things in this country if truly we want to move forward, if Kano and Katsina can have 44 and 34 local governments respectively then let the local government in every state be the same or simply abolish local governments. Most of the lopsided appointments that you see in Nigeria today originated from the over bloated number of local governments in the North west. I have personally been to over 35 local governments in Kano state and I can confidently tell you that some of them doesn't have up to 20 villages that made up the local government, it was simply made so for political dominance. |
Coldie:From your analysis you can be anything but not Igbo, you opined that Igbos that want restructuring can't even state what they needed to be restructured, I am Igbo and we surely know what we want. Political The North west has 7 states while the South east has 5, that means 21 senators for the North west and 15 for the South east, that is gross injustice, and it can't continue that way. Kano state has 44 local councils while Lagos that is twice its population has only 20, Ebonyi has only 13, so if funds were to be distributed to local councils to the tune of 1 billion naira per council, Kano will get 44 billion, while Lagos and Ebonyi will get 20 and 13 billion respectively, and that is fair to you? Every recruitment that has to originate from the local governments has been massively structured to favour the north west, imagine an opening at the nnpc that will take 2 persons per local government, Katsina will have slot for 68 people, while Edo can only send 36 people, and that is how to run a great nation? I can give you over 100 reasons why Nigeria needs either restructuring or total disintegration but let just stop here, till when you request for more. |
Curious345:ESN was uprooting the armed Fulani herdsmen from Orlu and Uzo uwani forests but the Army and IRT policemen went there and attacked them, it was widely reported here on Nairaland. There must be a very deadly hidden agenda about these Fulani atrocities in the South. |
Some of the comments here coming from the same people of Southern Nigeria suffering the backwardness of this country makes me sick. They will tell you that Igbo officers carried out the first coup and killed all political leaders except that of Igbo origin, then northerners were pushed into killing Igbo civilians in the north as a retaliation, then the counter coup happened and Igbo political leaders were equally killed yet no retaliation from the Igbos. The scores are settled, yet the northerners continued to kill more Igbos, why they continued the killings only God knows. They will also tell you that Ironsi an Igbo man changed the country from true federalism to unitary system with a decree, but after his assassination why Gowon did not use a decree to return the country to it's former status he instead balkanised the country the more, only God can tell. They will equally tell you that the Igbos destroyed a near perfect system of regionalism that positioned the nation on a great path to growth, the Igbos admitted that mistakes of Ironsi and sent Ojukwu to Aburi to correct them, other leaders from other regions were also present at Aburi to correct those mistakes and return to regionalism, then an accord was reached, what made Gowon to abandon the Aburi accord and why the Yorubas did not insist on the implementation of that accord remains a mystery that only God can unravel. |

omolola100:Praying for Nigeria now is a mortal Sin. Nigeria as it is today needs a pragmatic approach not prayers, |
We have two sets of laws in Nigeria, that of the Northern Emirates and the Federal constitution. As long as this district head has been sanctioned by the Emirates Council, that is the end of it, no need for police prosecution. Whom the Emir has set free is free indeed. Long live the Federal Republic of Northern Nigeria. |
MAGG0T:My brother, we have passed this stage now. This is the time for Igbos and the Yorubas to unite and form a common front against these devils in human form. From the statement of this man, he has confirmed that most of these killer herdsmen are actually foreigners, now are we going to continue to endure killings and flagrant abuse of our laws by foreigners? He said that Fulanis doesn't respect boundaries and that nobody can ever stop them from moving to any country they wish to graze with their cows, as long as their is water and grass there. In this jet age !!! Anybody still in doubt about the real intentions and mindset of the Fulani political and religious leaders like Buhari, Sultan of Sokoto, Atiku, El-Rufai and the rest of them should have a very deep reflection on what this man said. Nigeria is not One and can never be One, know this and know peace. |
PissfulProtester:If truly we want to move forward as one nation then state police is inevitable. What the IGP was saying goes to show his IQ level. State police will be independent both in funding and administration, it will have a National Police Council drawn equally from all the states that will oversee it's functions and also deal with petitions against it, the trainings will still be done at national police colleges, the only difference with what we have now is that the entire workforce has to be from the state or the geo political zone. Crime is local, policing also has to be local. Anybody that is against state police is directly calling for the disintegration of Nigeria. This is 2021 not 1981, we have all surpassed our elastic limit. Things must surely change. |
This statement from Malami is a crash course for people like Yakubu Gowon and his likes, that goes about preaching national cohesion and One Nigeria. This country is never one and can never be one, as long as the Hausa/Fulani continues with this kind of supremacy mentality. When Sharia law was introduced in the Northern states, the governors then didn't approach the legislative to amend the Nigerian secular constitution that is completely against that, till today there is Sharia law in the North. A Nigerian from the south cannot drink alcohol freely as he/she wishes in the north without been arrested by Hisbah police, which is totally against his/her rights as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution. We are deceiving ourselves in this prison called a Nation, Nigeria is not a country and can never be one, know this and know peace. |
Babanah:The Southern governors did not equally ban Herdsmen or Cows from staying in the South, they only ban aimless roaming around with cows. So, who is more smarter? |
