What do you expect from someone that was named "Dullapo" |
The way some Nigerians are going about this Biafran/ restructuring issues baffles me, you are a graduate, and no job is coming forth while those that are connected are getting jobs, some are even having slots being reserved for their wards that are yet to graduate. A state governor is owing his state workers for months but uses the meager resources at his disposal to build personal mansion, his colleague uses his state's Paris fund refund to build hotels. Nigeria is going south on all indices on development, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Botswana and ( even) Ghana are all ahead of us in making life less stressful for their citizens. Yet we the youth want Nigeria to remain as it is. For the avoidance of doubt, Nnamdi Kanu's led agitation has made the world and some sane Nigerians to sit up and see that the country is actually heading nowhere. It is either we restructure or we keep on going round in circles. Then for the Oct. 1st doomsday preppers, that day is Nigeria's independence day holiday, me and my friends will be hanging out and doing what we know how to do best, minding our own business and having fun. I am an Igbo man living in Kano, which is the Northern part of my country, my freedom of choice of location is enshrined in my country's constitution and no Yerima or any other never do well can tell me when to relocate to anywhere else and if they try to, I will take it as an act of hooliganism and react with full force, if necessary. This is my stand and that of my numerous kinsmen up here. No guts, No Glory |
Hi folks, My Company is in need of moringa seeds for processing, if anyone can supply us, please hit me up on WhatsApp 08036919130 |
Interested candidate, Nnanna, I am based in Kano ( Sabon-gari). Let's hit the road. |
LorDBolton:You deeply understands the dynamics Bro, teach them, if only they will comprehend. |
Nigerians and I too know, some folks that have not been to Kano before will be here writing as they like. For the records. The company that is involved in this mega project ( CRCC) is a Chinese central government owned company, they built a larger percentage of China's world class railway networks, and this project will be completed as stated,no politician will see the money as they are not bringing cash but equipments and materials, they believed in Kano owning to the success of a similar joint venture arrangement with a sister Chinese provincial government owned TEC which is constructing Kano's world class flyovers and underpass. China is not trying to recolonized Africa or Nigeria, they are helping Africa to bridge it's infrastructure gap, and be completely independent. The money they give out is not free, but the interest rate of 1 to 2 % is something that is not possible anywhere else, what they only need in return is a stronger alliance as they are gunning to become a world superpower. China has consistently stated that some African States will rise to become the next economic superpowers, and they are investing heavily in those countries, from 4 mega airports and railways in Nigeria, to power stations and railways in Ethiopia, railways and roads in Zambia, Airport and railways in Congo Brazzaville and the rest. China is more humane in deals with Africa than the West, and they meant well for Africa. |
sarrki:I am with you on this Bro. |
You sounded it loud and clear Baba, ride on my able President, you will be celebrated at last. May God guide your footsteps. And as for Tinubu and his loyalists, you have shown them that you are a man of your words, imposition of candidates and god-fatherism has no room in a democracy. Akerodolu will be governor elect of Ondo state come next Saturday, and there is nothing anybody can do about it. |
To all, saying Tinubu is this, Tinubu is that. That he single handedly made PMB the president, Tinubu is just very wise to see that GEJ messed up the goodwill that Nigerians offered him and quickly latched unto Buhari to get a shot at the center. Tinubu didn't install PMB as the president of Nigeria, the need for a paradigm shift and overwhelming quest for power to return to the core North did. Buhari is president today because of his popularity in the North and that, fits well with the plot. Tinubu is calling for Oyegun's head for not insisting on internal democracy, while he, the so called national leader endorsed and tried to impose a candidate in the primary election in question. And that, to his worshippers is refined and unblemished democracy. Double standard will kill some people someday. Have any of you asked the Jigawa governor who conducted the primary election, why he chooses his entire team from his base and his recommendations on the outcome? And why he queried the committee that was sent to Ondo on why his input as the election umpire did not matter to them. Tinubu said that the delegates list was tampered with, and no one can say otherwise because he is the great oracle of the southwest, and his words and thoughts are always right ( what manner of people reasons like this) Oh! my God. Tinubu is just a desperate and insatiable greedy fellow, who wants everyone at his beck and call. This is Nigeria not southwest. I stand with PMB I stand with better and prosperous Nigeria. |
I am passionately moved after stumbling on this thread by luck. I can hardly believe that OP is a woman ( no pun intended), I can only conclude that Nigeria got talents. We are first world material and will get there by God's grace and our various but coordinated individual hardwork, that , I know this thread will contribute it's quota. I have booked my popcorn and seat in advance ( to avoid the rush). Waiting patiently for our able mentor/Lecturer. |
davdjayj:Got these for them too.
|
proffemi:Bros, I didn't see where I jumped from one view to the other, my assertion is self- explanatory. Obasanjo is a charismatic and intelligent politician/leader, no doubt about that, but ( mark this word) he choose to erase all his good qualities, all by himself. Someone can be a hero at some point and later turn out a despicable villlain. Take the case of Robert Mugabe or Kamuzu Banda. Figure out what I meant |
From my own point of view, All our past presidents from 1999 till date have two things in common, which is favour and grace from God. None of them is qualified to rule this nation, but their palm kennels were cracked by their various benevolent Chi's, and all of them failed to appreciate that, and the worst is Jonathan, as for Buhari, I am still observing him with my half past 4 eye. Obasanjo would have been a cult figure and had his name cast in gold, but greed and sit tight syndrome destroyed his noble achievements. Obasanjo tried to put this country on the path of progress but later turned around and destroyed those gains. Obasanjo imposed Yaradua on us after failing to secure a third term. Obasanjo is the reason why Nigeria of today is politically divided along ethnic line by reneging on the agreement of the party that brought him to power to rotate power between North and South. That is the reason for the divided country we live in today. Yaradua would have been the best president of this great nation, but he wasn't prepared when power was delivered to him, before he will prepare his mind for the huge task ahead of him, death came knocking ( RIP baba). But he will be remembered for the amnesty programme ( though it was later abused after his death)and rule of law. We Anambrarians cannot forget him for liberating us from the doomed Andy Uba's governorship. Anambra would have been on OLX or Jiji by now. As for Jonathan, his own case needs divination, from having no shoe while growing up, to being one of us, having tasted poverty in a more cruel way. He allowed himself to be used by the most cruel and heartless cabal ever known to mankind. You can be so suprise about someone using #2 billion naira for prayer consultations or someone advertising for jobs and defrauding over 10,000 people on the process, while the actual vacant position is 2,000. Jonathan failed both God and humanity. With the exception of Yaradua, all of them performed well below expectations. |
TonyeBarcanista:If only our youths will travel round and educate themselves. Nigeria must rise. |
TonyeBarcanista:Preach it Bro. I think this issue of unmerited comparisons starts with the kind of environment and training you received as a child, for so long Nigerian official statistics tend to suppress the facts on the ground, then dish out bloated lies to massage the egos of the so called people that matters in Nigeria, and majority of our youths tends to believe that. Travelling is really part of education, the very first day I touched down in Nairobi, I secretly told my self " Bros we got jobs to do in Nigeria". Our youths needs to travel more often within and outside Nigeria, it will bring out the greatness in all us. Nigeria is blessed Nigeria will be great Nigeria will be the pride of Africa We will get there if the Will is there, we have what it takes. |
goshen26:You have a product to sell and distribute all over the nation, yet you engage in tribal rants. Choose a hustle bro, you don't know where your best customers might come from. Do you? |
Sealeddeal:Some Nigerians are plainly stupid, especially the youths. Do you know that Sanusi owned over 300 BDC accounts, He is one of the reason why Buhari suspended sell of forex to BDCs, 70% of BDCs are owned by people known and close to Sanusi ( I can explain more on this). Check and you will see that his criticism is always centered on forex restrictions. Buhari is trying so hard to loosen the hard grip that these guys has on Nigerians, but our so called youths are the one calling him names. May God deliver this Nation. |
Sometimes, I don't seems to understand how my compatriots evaluate things. The man named his dog Buhari, verdict; he broke no law. He wrote the word "Buhari" on the dog, verdict; no law was broken, There are thousands that has Buhari as first or last name, had it been he named and wrote " Gen. Muhammadu Buhari" on the dog, then he is ridiculing my able President. Parading the dog with such name boldly written on it in a way to ridicule someone is morally wrong but legally, he did nothing that will send him to jail, just some serious cautioning will do. For Chinedu Obasi to equate a northener naming and writing "Nnamdi Kanu" on his dog and parading it in Ariaria or Upper Iweka Onitsha, is like comparing orange and cucumber. Nnamdi Kanu is a complete personal name but Buhari needs needs another name to make it personal, add Abubakar, Yusuf or Alli and it goes personal. I can tell you that PMB doesn't even have a hand in this case but all these eye service over sabi people will try everything to impress in a stupid way. Let Peace reign. |
Hate him or love him, Rev. Fr. Ejikeme Mbakaogu remains the most vocal critic of injustices and total rot in Nigerian politics. He say things the way they are, without minding whose ox is been gored. If half of our leaders in Christendom can be so bold to criticize when necessary and applaud when they ought to, then, half of our problems as a nation will be solved. Both some of them choose to go with the money. Some people will tell him to face his priesthood, forgetting that evil thrives when good men seems unconcerned, they will commend the Pope whenever he speaks against injustice in governance around the world but tell Mbaka to face his priesthood when he does same in Nigeria. Buhari has the mandate of God to deliver this nation from the grip of corruption and backwardness, but if he chooses to deviate from that, he will fail and fall into deep regret. Mbaka remains my spritual role model. Ride on Nwa Mbakaogu |

mrvitalis:My brother, you don't need to prove anything. I am still so suprise why someone will wish ill tidings for his country, simply because he hates the president. "Ibu ezigbo nwa afo Igbo". We cannot all be on the same page politically, that's why you see far left and far right in advanced democracies. Nigeria will be great. |
I can't fully understand the mentality of some of our youths, they are so quick to condemn and administer jungle justice on their fellow helpless and jobless countrymen even without verification. Chiadika, Tekena and their friends were murdered in cold blood in Aluu community about 4 years ago based on false allegation of theft ( May their souls rest in peace). None, I mean none of over hundred wicked men and women that gathered there on that fateful day, wanted there case to be investigated, they all want them dead instantly. But here we are, an investigation was carried out and living actors in the cases were named, Instead of calling on the people named to openly declare their innocence and prove it with evidence. Same set of insane and unfortunate youths will now tell you that they are being framed up. Anybody that will support all these evil doers will surely be visited with calamity. Iyalaya anybody that is showing sympathy to a looter. |
ygrandstar:Check Russian, Venezuelan, Angolan economies and you will see same there. Oil price is the factor. We will get over it soon. |
TonyeBarcanista:My guy, sometimes it is easier to discuss with a deaf and dumb than to crack your brain trying to let people like these to use their common sense. I was diligently following your sane and salient points that you did dish out to them. But Bro. it is like flogging a stiff dead horse. Their mind has been made up. Attahiru Bafarawa received and acknowledged. ( No, it's witch- hunting) Haliru Bello and son received and acknowledged. ( No, it's Propaganda) High Chief Dokpesi received and acknowledged. ( No, it's Media trial) Jim Nwobodo, Tony Anenih, Nduka Obaigbena, Iyorchia Ayu, Olabode George, Olu Falae, Jafaru Isa, Olisa Metuh all acknowledged receipt of the funds mentioned against their name, yet we still doubt that the investigators are doing a thorough job. FG initially wanted a secret trial because of the names involved and the shame it will bring to them, Dasuki said he wanted an open trial and his wish was granted. He was charged to court with a fraction of the evidences against him, granted bail and was re-arrested to be charged with a different case altogether. Kudos to Malami and his team for coming up with a tactics that is alien to the army of looters. If this is propaganda and witch-hunting,may it continue. The oppressed masses will have the last laugh. Some people are just plainly and hopelessly blind and stupid. |
99100:How can you say something that you are not too sure of. From my personal experience, it is easier to get fuel in Enugu ( East) than in Kano (North). Hoarding of petroleum products is more prevalent in the North than in the East. I reside in Kano and I can tell you authoritatively that you can only buy fuel @87 naira from NNPC, AA RANO or TOTAL and you have to queue up for hours, while in Enugu you can buy at small small station @110 or buy at bigger stations with relatively smaller queue @87. That is my personal findings though. |
Please, anybody that is close to Cramjones( FFK) should tell him in Oshiomole's voice to "Go and die". Dude we the Igbos are wiser than you think, shove ur warped analysis up your throat. Street ti take over. |
If Itse Sagay really said all these things, then he is not qualified to be a leader. How can you just open your mouth and castigate an entire tribe because of their political belief. That majority of the Igbos voted for Jonathan is not out of place, so many did so, because they were been fed with negative things about Buhari's agenda, then the fact that GEJ is from the south south plays its part. Now will it take away the fact that they are equally Nigerians like Sagay. When Jonathan won in 2011, Bauchi, Yobe, Adamawa and Kano all went up in flames in protest of his election. But it is on record that majority of the little work that he did, is in the North east and North west. Even the goats that benefited mostly from his open barn policy are from the North west. Can you then say that they reaped where they did not sow? We are all Nigerians for crying out loud. Let's stop this senseless bragging about who voted Buhari, and who should benefit and who shouldn't, all hands must be on deck if we really want to move forward as a nation. Biafra is for the Igbos, but majority of the Igbos are not in support of Kanu's IPOB or whatever approach. It is this kind of senseless and stupid statements from people like Sagay ( if he truly said so) that brought about the agitation for Biafra in the first place. May God deliver Nigeria from the hands of sycophants and tribalists. God bless Nigeria. God bless PMB. |
Nigeria will surely get it right if we continue this way. The judiciary is tagging along, kudos to the Judge. Very soon sureties will be difficult to find in FCT then the looters will know what AWAITING TRIALS really means. God bless and guide PMB. |
njikoamaka:You are right in your assertion, but there are things that needs to be done from the head. We have laws in Nigeria, but the problem is enforcement, reason being that the breakers are mostly those that should enforce them. To find a solution is to establish an institution that will get the people that are willing to enforce and constantly monitor them, and make sure they are doing the right thing. You can see that it takes the good will of the man at the top of the pyramid to effect those changes, then we the masses will follow thereafter. |
I still don't understand why some of our Igbo folks will not give Buhari the benefit of doubt. I know he is hated here due to some reasons ( sentiments and lack of good communication skills). You will agree with me that Buhari meant well for this country, but lacks the ability to project his views and goals positively, he is so blunt but very honest and upright. Any Igbo man that wants a brighter future for kids and family members, should at least pray and watch this man for more 1 year. He is not a magician, but with our support and prayers, Nigeria will get it right. The Igbos might end up being the real beneficiaries of his diversification and change policy, because we are the real risk takers in this country. I don't think that any sane man will like us to maintain the status quo, whereby 5% of us will embezzle our common wealth and impoverish miilions of our people. These people are heart less, and care less about which tribe or religion you belong to. Buhari might not get everything right, and he is no saint. But having the political will to put a powerful former governor in SSS custody in corruption related case for more than 72 hours without batting an eyelid, tells you how ready he is to battle our common enemy ( corruption). Onye furu eziokwu ya kwu kwa ya, ka ifeoma biara ya. |
