Congrats ma.. You make us proud.. |
WoundedLamb:Two things.. 1. Nigerians choosing poor leaders.. 2. Then the poor quality of leaders in Nigeria historically.. I was against Buhari from day 1, a former despot should never be made president I explained. I was shouted down by my fellow countrymen.. Little did I know that in addition to his authoritarian tendencies, he would so abysmal at the basics of office.. The rest is now history as Nigeria teeters on the brink of disintegration |
Uncleodi:I have been fortunate enough to travel, once economies reach a certain level of development. About $10,000 - $15,000 USD per capita people are content and happy. Malaysia is a great example, it isn't fabulously wealthy, but most Malays are content. It doesn't take much, Just good infrastructure like consistent electricity, clean water and gas supplies will do most of the work. Good Roads, Ok Railways and Good airports would finish the job. People will do the rest.. That's why I don't understand our leaders, this is all they have to do.. The extras like good schools and universities are hard to do, but I am sure the Nigerian population would manage this. |
codemaniacs:Wakanda was just an example and a good example at that. Weak currency is irrelevant. If Nigeria was very developed with good infrastructure, no one would think about leaving.. Look at middle eastern countries, they have oil dependent economies which don't always have the best job availability or currencies. But their people aren't leaving those countries except to go on holiday. |
41... Mtchew see the wife you get if you marry well ooo Happy Birthday pretty lady |
MansoryMX:The picture in your post says it all.. Obasanjo for all his sins, paid down our debt. Only for the Daura President and his cabal to plunge us back into debt with little to show for it. Mtcheww.. |
WoundedLamb:We should make a better environment back here, so make sure the Doctors want to stay.. If Nigeria looked like Wakanda, do you think anyone would want to leave?? ![]() |
Realhommie:LOL |
Realhommie:I have been brobriskied... |
lawless country.. Mtchew imagine roads in a city like London or New York being blocked by cattle.. |
Pochettino:Mtcheww at least you are honest.. Women sha.. |
Pele, Naija truly is getting bad, if people are resorting to things like this.. |
SapphireBlue:Look I understand what you are saying. In the west they have therapy, here in Naija we often dont. So one must have alternatives. 1. Religion if done correctly is like meditation and eases the mind. 2. Have a close friend (WHO YOU CAN TRUST) who can be your psychologist. I have a friend who I talk to about my issues and he offers good opinions. I sometimes do the same for him and I would never betray his trust. I trust that man with my life and he trusts me with his. These chats help improve my mental state. Ultimately it doesnt change the fact that a man will never have someone to look after him when he comes of age. As for gender, yes there is a difference. In a traditional relationship what typically happens? The man goes out to work for his family and the wife attends to the household. It is the woman who is looked after not the man. Even if the woman brings in income, the expectations are on the man to bring in the majority of family income. This is a pattern repeated across the world. A wife can rest at home if she depressed and her husband will attend to things. A woman would never do the same for a man or if she does not indefinitely anyway. Last example a young babe knows that eventually a man will court her and want to marry her. He almost always says 'I will look after you'. No woman will ever say those words to man in that context.. So men are under more pressure to survive (mental health or not) Either you find a way to function or perish.. |
Hassanmaye:Sadly they do not bros.. So we must look after ourselves and one another. I lost count of how many times I have rained down curses on our leaders.. |
SapphireBlue:You sound like a woman.. In fact it was my mother who first understood I suffered from Depression at young age, she told me to fight it. I would scream and cry on the way to school. She would slap me, telling that me as a man who is meant to lead his family there is no time for such nonsense. Was she wrong in her approach? A little bit, but that lovely woman wasnt lying. She was right time waits for no man. The babes dont care if you are feeling down, they will happily bleep someone else if you are down or cant bring home the money. Your competitors wont take it easy on you because you are depressed. If you work for someone else your boss wont say pele take a day of. We are Naija, in simple terms a day is 1 (I ate) or 0 (I did not eat).. That is the harsh reality of life for a man. I feel for him, somedays I open my eyes and the world looks grey and I want to jump off the highest bridge for days at a time. But as a man I must rise to my feet and provide for my family and children. As my fore fathers have done.. |
Amb1045:Politics didnt destroy Osinbajo, it just showed who he really was.. ![]() |
I suffer from depression from time to time... But bros Naija, if not the world for a man is no place for Depression. I have worked even when I was close to tears or wanted to just lie down. You laid down, see your life.. pele.. |
This man deserves on dirty slap. 1. What a poor excuse for a bridge 2. Happy to pose next to piles of rubbish and generally dirty environment?? 3. Actually had a sign put up? 4. Bothered to take a photograph to celebrate nothing Nigerians come 2023 vote better than this waste of a human being |
Audio detention.. But still look at the names, if I say anymore folks will say I am against Fulani lol. Tell me I am lying.. |
This is Nigeria's problem in a nutshell.. Thieves masquerading as captains of industry. I remember when a wealthy uncle of mine said few wealthy individuals in Nigeria could be classified as true businessmen or woman in the global understanding of the word. Dangote is a two bit hustler who relies on government patrons to help him succeed. Very little of what he does can be classified as true business. He isnt alone in this, there are other Billionaires who operate like this. Carlos Slim of Mexico is another, where Mexico has the highest internet/telco and power prices in the world due his activities. The average street tout or agbero would also be a billionaire, if they had Dangote's advantages.. Its not a lie.. |
Wait and see.. But was it me, but the main bulk of projects are in a certain region.. Kano to Maigaduri Really?? |
eldoradoxx:Speak for yourself and no other Yoruba mumu... After Sunday Igboho actually having to stand up for Yoruba against herdsmen while our politicians just stood there, I changed my mind on such things... |
tommy589:Everything is IPOB to these zombies.. When you see someone attacking a specific group or someone providing information so consistently, you know there my be a kernel of truth in what they are saying. I don't care for Biafra, but I do think there is merit in their argument that the government is largely dominated by northerners and run for northerners. How else do you explain Nigerian Yoruba fleeing to neighbouring Yoruba communities in another nation?? |
Of course, everyone knows this by now.. ![]() In other news, oxygen has been linked to breathing |
Kriss216:I agree, the behaviour of the current crop of southern leaders betrays them. They are weak and come 2023 they should be replaced by leaders who have the best of intentions towards their people and the greater Southern Nigeria region. |
Audio president ... Because you realise that come 2023 you and your brothers are in trouble, you are now issuing these fake directives.. Too late vegetable.. You will be lucky if you make it back to Daura at this rate.. ![]() |
Omihanifa:Oba only in name... I will never forget when he disrespected the Ooni.. Mtchew no sympathy from me.. To the poor who stole that money.. Use it well ![]() |
thebosstrevor1:Keep broadcasting your radio Fulani propaganda.. No one cares.. Keep your lousy Onions, Tomatoes and Beef.. ![]() |
Anigreat:I wonder.. I said the same in another thread where over 300 soldiers deserted.. I said can you blame them when they are ill equipped and members of the same government funds your enemy?? Paid zombies were raining down curses on me. Calling me a coward etc.. Buhari is a failure.. Mtchew... |
thebosstrevor1:Nonsense, for years I heard my family in Lagos boast how Yoruba played Politics better than igbos and look where it got us.. Look at the massacres in Ogun and elsewhere in the South West. Nigeria has been severely undermined by Buhari's ethnic nepotism.. mtcheew |
donbachi: You are wicked.. LMAO |
favor914:e pain am ![]() Tell me what lies have I told? I am on the side of soldiers who bravely fought for Nigeria and were let down by a corrupt government. Unlike you a zombie supporter who happily throws away the life of a mother's son for nothing. Thunder fire you and your generations yet unborn... |
