And who needs your explainations boko haram?
alj harem:
What is all this tribal rubbish for huh

it is clear it is not an ethnic move but a developmental move by the governor. For all I care it might even be a political move. It has nothing to do with ethnicity so people give it a rest already

Is he not the one that ambushed adaka boro and murdered him?
mbatuku2:
Let me tell a secret,  small boy, if Adekunle had been kept in the war, the Biafrans would have won the Civil war.

The only places he allegedly conquered where the non-Igbo parts of Biafra, and those places were not really contested. The moment he stepped his foot in Igbo territory proper, he saw real action and was sent packing.

Well what else does one expect from some HEADLESS CHICKEN other than dancing around the way you are doing as you have nothing useful to say except digging up lies whereever you stored them for feature use,and diverting attentions from the murder your arewa masters a committing as we speak. While you have been shamelessly and desperately beating about the bush(igbo) in your hurry hurry calculated moves, may i remind you to count how many times you hurriedly jump in to condemn the murder you and your partners in jihad murdering campaign are commiting,no you will never honestly do that cos you are yoruba a muslim, your assignment is running around all over shouting igbo and igbo.I hope you remember the igbo in your yoruba language means bush or ganja, and when you abuse it you kolo,so keep smoking and abusing igbo and getting your evil brain 4ucked up,and what monikers are talking about fool?
PoliticsRe: Tension In Onitsha Over Ejection Of Yoruba, Hausa Traders.reprisal? by noiseless: 11:24am On Jan 22, 2012
If the southwest want to re candle their shameful alliance with their arewa masters, please my advise is they must not spice it up first by over adding chilli, salt and garlic, and just be man enough come out openly and announce your alliance with the arewas the way NDVF and DOKUBO expressed and called for the alliance with southeast, that is how real men behave. orderwise they (southwest) are only exposing their cowardice in over 40 wasted years of a@sh licking their arewa masters. Finally to the OPs and Poster, i'm not surprised why you thought it would help your case if enugu state is dragged in to your mischiefs,THANK U.
PoliticsRe: Igbos And Yorubas: Do We Really Hate Each Other? by noiseless: 1:24pm On Jan 21, 2012
People who say that hate only exist on NAIRALAND only are just living in denial, the reason people like OBASONJO,ADEKUNLE,ADESANYNA'S DAUGHTER and others can say what they say in public,is because they believe their fellow "owners of nigeria"will back them up when such hating comments get them in trouble. The yorubas will do or say anything to pull the igbos down,as they know to destroy other tribes in southern nigeria and hold them hostage and strangle them they need to destroy the igbos. So people have to pretend in real life as if they are not bigots and haters when they know one can grab some haters heads and dash them against the walls.

Why should it surprise anyone that in times like these every TUNDE,BAKERE UGUNLADE AND BABA OSUN will claim to be from Niger Delter and yet working hard to bring down the same people of Niger Delter, yes on NAIRALAND you are all from"niger delter",and we all know how the south westerners operate to get their scamm through. And for your information this a messege to the govt.and not anti-JEG as you will rather wish, jeg himself knows that there are elements of distrustion both inside and outside the govt who vowed to use every means to make life as hell as they can,so what are talking about? If you dont like ALHJ ASARI DUKOBO and the understandings he has towards the igbos, i sugest you rather have UTAPIAPIA it's already subsidised for people like you or you can tell your OPC to open their eyes and stop seeing things from a selfish angle.
$ugardaddy:
I'm from the Niger Delta for your information. But I'm not the Asari or Briggs kind of Niger Deltan, I view things from an informed and objective perspective.
The major reason why a lot of people kicked against the fuel subsidy removal was the non-chalant attitude displayed by Government to the Boko Haram killings in the north. People felt that should be Govt's number 1 priority and not fuel subsidy removal. And yet, you say people were not concerned about the killings of Igbo and southerners in the north.

You see, these are some of the issues we have with the so called NLC/SNG and others, that when you want to count numbers first start from 1 then 2,3,4,5,6 then you can continue, not cut from 50 or 71 and jumping like frog claiming you are doing the counting. As bad and as unacceptable extravagantly lifestyles of our leaders and their kids are,one must not be tribalistically selective when engaging themselves in this kind of act,it only exposes your incurable tribalistic illnesses and the worst case of bias mind in you.

Have you finished?  I'm sure that you agree that some people where denied education cos awolawo subsidised education for his people only, and he said that coacoa was a cash crop that was found in yorubaland,so only the yorubas can benefit from it,as he believed nigeria was just a geografical expression while other leaders allowed their ressuces to be used to run nigeria. And yet despite all the free education the yorubas enjoyed all you can show for it is fake digrees and this braging of yours that you are educated than everyone and play 419 on them, that is what you know and do best, GET A LIFE PLS.
ebosed:
Fellow Citizens,

Lets neglect comments of our beloved brothers and sisters from the east and south south- Their comments is a type of corruption in itself called nepotism - i.e. giving unmerited favour to your kinsman at ALL COST when he least deserves it. OBJ did not win election even in his ward in south west in 1999 but we delivered the west to Jonathan in 2011. We are civilized people without sentiment. We protested against some people called cabals to make sure Jonathan was confirmed acting president. No sentiment

Where was SS/SE when we protested against the CABALs who failed to make Jonathan the substantive acting president when Yar adua was sick? Did they join in the protest? No. Where were they when we protested against Abacha and IBB? Where were they when we protested against OBJ on fuel subsidy led by Oshiomole? Where were they when we protested against the annulment of June 12 election. Where were they when The Ganis, Kutis, Falanas, alfreds, faseuns, Adesanyas e.tc were laying their lives to make Our President beneficiary of the struggles he knows little about. The history of civil protest in Nigeria has also been without them because they are educationally disadvantage, they cannot protest for or against what they don't even understand.

Jonathan came to Lagos and danced before us like a beggar pleading for our votes, he danced to the same music we played at Gani-Fawehinmi park we trusted him and voted him, even OBJ did not get that kind of support. Now we did the same thing and people who now claim to be his brother are angry, Jona himself is angry. Why are you angry? What kind of people would call a fellow man Monkey? We understand the average psyche of anyone from the east, you got admitted to our universities with 5 ordinary passes because we recognised you are educational disadvantage and we don't expect much sense from you.

If you can relate well with your environment, you would agree that the protest was avoidable, if Our President (Not Ijaw or Ibo President) respect the constitution he swore to uphold. The National Assemble - Who were the representative of the people convened on an usual day -Sunday- and spoke with one voice that he should revert back to 65 Naira. But he declined. When the President violate the principle of democracy and disrespect the peoples reepresentatives he gets what he deserves-Peaceful protest.Respect is reciprocal.

Should a man who lives on the bank of the river wash his hand with spittle? - An Ibo Proverb
Should a man bite the finger that fed him? An Ibo Proverbs
Is it not greed that makes an hunter who killed an elephant to still want to hunt for rats on his way home?

While I agree that it is never right to Kill another man for any reason like the Boko-Haram sect, It is the act of oppression through military force like the ones deployed to forestall peaceful protest in Gani Fawehinmi Park that might have been responsible for the creation of such sect. Your sect in south south (Kidnappers) and SE (otokoto) was the result of similar neglect. Yar-Adua was responsible enough to listen to you, bring you out of the creeks and send you to school so that you behave like responsible people. Because he listened he even appointed - Jonathan as his running mate. Let Our President - Not Ijaw or SS or SE President listen to us and we would have a better Nigeria.

He should also subsidise UTAPIAPIA for some haters especially sheguy and alj harem etc etc.
dmainboss:
He defeated the PDP northern consensus candidate
He shoved IBB aside
He defeated Buhari, Ribadu
He has increase PMS price by over 50%

He withstood the harrasment and fury of Millions of Nigerians
He brushed aside a one week nationwide strike. He didnt even reply his critics who were pouring venom at a music jamboree in Lagos
He has "declared a subtle state of emergency" in Lagos
He brutalized El Rufai
He has sign the dreaded FOI bill into law
He has repealed the dreaded official secrets act. These are laws that can really expose him
He is fast tracking the PIB

And they still say he is clueless, weak and slow and is only a fisherman! I didnt know fishermen were this great. When I grow up, I want to be a fisherman!

ogugua88:
Who is mocking the death of innocent people? I won't answer questions for tribalists, no, because their train of thought is very narrow. I am an Igbo woman and I support Nigeria, regardless of tribe. The problem in Nigeria is not a Hausa problem, Yoruba problem, Igbo problem, Fulani problem, etc. It's a Nigerian problem. There is good and bad in every tribe, so to look at one tribe and point and say who is wrong or right or good or bad, is naive.

The protests are more than subsidy related. You think Muslims and Christians in Kano are holding hands because of fuel price? You think Muslims are standing outside Christian churches, protecting Christians and vice versa because of N97 or N141?

Thank you bro Sam_Ikenna for tge great piece, the world is watching.
Diligence:
Great Piece from Sam_Ikenna

I'm Igbo, do I really have a right?
My ethnic group is Igbo, do my people have a right to choose their country?
I'm a christian, can I worship as I deem fit?

If you say yes to the above then why are you hounding me over subsidy protest? Why are you angry at me for leaving in 1967? Why are you killing me in the north even when I was fleeing for my "landlocked" homeland?

You won the war, you have all the states and local government areas, you have the army, you have the navy, you have FCT, you have taken most of oil producing Igbo communities out of Igboland, you killed 50,000 of my people in 2 months (1966 pogrom), you killed over 2 million of my people when you declared war on us for daring to leave you, you rigged the census and have continued unabated, you gave my people 20 pounds, you have no federal presence in my land, you systematically purged my people from civil service after the civil war, you created hate between my people and their neighbours, you designated my people's property as abandon, and you have all the presidency to yourself before and after the civil war. You have it ALLLL! You don't need me! Leave me alone, please I beg you leave me alone! What more do you want from me?

The pain I bear you don't know, the humiliation you brought to me you don't realize, the anger in me is better left unleashed, please let me be.

In my heart of hearts I wished you would leave me and at least enjoy your war booty but I have come to understand that the reason you refused to leave me alone is not because you are inherently bad, its not because you are perpetually evil, no its not. The reason you have refused to leave me alone is because you are incapable of doing so.

You may gloat on my pains, anger, loss, etc but I will forgive you. However, the humiliation and shame you brought to me is personal and will carry consequences. I counted my losses very very long time ago and during that time I stopped crying, I stopped seeking for your justice, I stopped believing in you, I knew I was on my own and embraced my fate, I knew you owed me in material terms, I knew you owed me in blood and tears, and then, and then, I knew that someday I would find you and I would reciprocate your "kindness" knowing you wouldn't consider it personal.
********************* Bros, God so made it that just as the world can't be better off without the Jews, so also Nigeria will never survive without NDI-IGBO. It is written.

merengue:
Why you non-Igbos are surprised about this is beyond me, the Igbos are by nature a greedy, avaricious lot who see in every situation an opportunity to make money even at the expense of their own flesh and blood (they are dying like flies in the North, yet their kin in Wuse Market were screaming that they like subsidy removal). The reasons being adduced for not joining the strike are so ridiculous, its beyond laughable.
I assure you that even if a million Igbos die in the North, a million will take their place because the alternative is to go die slow, painful, poverty-stricken deaths in the landlocked sh**hole called Igbo land. The marketers who have been selling above 65 naira, are they not Igbo people?
They think they will get the presidency in 2015 if they boot lick, bend over and know tow to GEJ, how pathetic. If GEJ doesn't contest in 2015, its going back to the North.
They claim they are a "republican" or "egalitarian" society. The truth is it's a case of every man for himself. That is why they steal, cheat, connive and even murder so they can get enough money to marry many wives, build big mansions in the village, throw lavish parties and buy chieftaincy titles and knighthoods. Kidnapping, armed robbery, prostitution are 10x worse in the S/E than anywhere else in Nigeria, if in doubt do the following three things:
(1) Go to the East via night bus.
(2) Enter any big town especially Aba and Onitsha after 6pm.
(3) Visit Owerri in the evening on any given day especially weekends.
Nigerian roads are bad generally but S/E roads are death traps, yet every Igbo man of means grades (and in some cases tars) only the road that leads to his own house. Their roads have been washed away by erosion, yet go to any village and you would be amazed at the types of empty mansions you see.
The truth is their place is dead, look at all their traditional rulers, most of them stay in Lagos, Abuja, PH, Asaba, etc. Eze. Festus Odimegwu, the former Nigerian Breweries C.E.O is the traditional ruler of his community in Imo, yet he still stays full time in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi and runs his business, FE Group of Companies, all based in Lagos. Amb. Arthur Mbanefo is the Odu III of Onitsha, also still resides full time at Ikoyi. Same goes for Prof. Laz Ekwueme who is a traditional ruler in Oko, Anambra but still stays at Yaba. This is because they know that they are rulers over barren wastelands.
The average Igbo farmer spends 3 times what other farmers across Nigeria spends on fertilizer yet the only thing that grows is cassava (and yellow garri is still cheaper in Lagos than anywhere else in Igboland). They think we in the Niger-Delta will go with them if they secede and dash them our oil, how I laugh at their stupidity!!!!!
Has anyone ever wondered why successive bad governments use Igbos as mouthpieces? Its because they always have a price; Abacha had Daniel Kanu, Obj had Odimegwu leading The 3rd Term agenda as well as Frank Nweke Jnr., now GEJ has nitwits like Worgu, Okonjo-Iweala, Anyim and Co. Of course we all remember Arthur Nzeribe (A.B.N) and Uche Chukwumerije under IBB. Look at N.N.P.C, various Hausa, Yoruba and South-South boys have entered that place and cleaned out yet they all used and are still using Levi Ajuonuma as spokesperson.
Have you ever wondered why in eight years of the senate's presidency under the S/E zone, they had Enwerem, Okadigbo, Wabara, Anyim and Nnamani. In five years under North-Central zone, only one: David Mark, Its because they have sold, are still selling and will always sell their own mothers for a plate of porridge.
The whole of Imo has less than 3 functioning industries(government or private) yet they are always quick to shout marginalization. When one of their few shining stars: Alex Ekwueme stood to contest in 1998 and 2002, Igbo people like Orji Kalu, Achike Udenwa, Jim Nwobodo under cut him because he didn't share money.
Abeg the Igbos or "Biafrans" as they call themselves should do and leave the rest of us alone, all they are good for is to act as middle men in the sale of fake Asian products (thank God all these foreign companies are already setting up shop in Naija) and supply girls as wives.

I searched everywhere to see for myself your big ugly lies in which you jumped online in desperation and screamed that 4 igbo men were caught, and paraded on CNN & NTA live as breaking news, as they were the ones who bombed churches in yola & yobe. But i realised then i was searching for nothing but an evil wishes which you and your likes are harbouring in your rotting brain,i personally do not expect people like you and alhj harem to unleash your very worse against the igbos,THE WHOLE WORLD IS READING AND WATCHING US .
