Getting an expired Nigerian passport renewed is a hassle especially in Nigerian Embassies in foreign countries. This has left too many Nigerians in Diaspora with expired.

You can travel. I left London two months ago with expired passport. I flew Egyptair. You do not need ETC; it's waste of money. When you get to Nigeria, no immigration can harass you over it. You're good to go.
