themonk: The LASG app, Who knows what the specifications for cars that will join the app will be. I’m pretty sure it will have better incentives for car owners since it is owned by the govt. it needs that to drive out competition. They are in for business n to make profit. So don't hope on that. |

@ the monk.
Don't worry about specifications of the car.
The wisdom for any third app is to ride on the existing framework of the drivers.
Maintain current prices rate ₦65/km ₦10/min. and 15% commission.
Gradually, they will also get a share of the market. It might take some time though. |

Which and which regulations will affect the business? No regulations on car model by the LASG. Corolla 07 is very good. Follow instructions of your operator ( Bolt/Uber) and you will b fine. |

Mjosh1000:

Dear uber/bolt partners this is the best time to revolt against poor/low fares.
Since the lasG said all cars must have comprehensive insurance. If everyone partners can come together and not get a comprehensive insurance uber/bolt will log the drivers out and they will not have any income, which will force them to adjust and listen to the low fares wahala..
I wish drivers/partners can use this opportunity to let their voice be heard.
Pls copy and share on every WhatsApp group, blog, forum etc Unfortunately, only a union can force the hands of Uber and Bolt. There is so much disunity, nonchalance amongst the thousands of drivers in Lagos. This disarray further helps the business objectives of the E-hailing companies. Regrettably, union leadership in Nigeria most tyms look for their selfish aims n not the interest of their members. It's a really frustrating situation... |

The 2017-2020 model of cars won't work. For crying out loud, this is a developing country with a state that is still grappling with infrastructure devpt... The economy of Lagos state can't support it. States with advanced economies , California, New York ,Helsinki. don't even make such categorizations.Any money miss road investor that buys 2017/2020 cars for dis biz will whine n sulk for a long time. As an operative of any ehailing app, you have to keep moving from one point to another intermittently and that subjects the car to d rigours of wear and tear. The Baba's with d rickety Volkswagen n Mazda and the traditional airport/ car hire know this Eternal truth. Hence, they park and only move when there is an order/ reservation.,that way they can reduce wear and tear. |

And some mad taxing from lagos state government Let's wait for an official statement from the LASG. As per the new cars, or 2017., it won't fly. donfortune48: Why haven't I been fortunate enough to complete a ride on indriver since I registered?
Request will come, before I'll offer my price, it's already taken.
Got a notification one day. Egbeda-to-cheveron drive. And it was showing #3,100. Before I'll say let me offer 4k and manage it, trip have already been taken. That's the price the rider wants to pay. No haggling of any sort. If you pick a price above wat is being offered, your request will b declined. Indrive is for riders who r really price conscious. |

Why driving home yesterday night switching from DRIVE to gear 2, the belt got damaged and cut into piece but I managed to drive it home from 3rd mainland bridge. I replaced the belt this morning but noticed engine oil is seriously leaking from around the pully holding the belt.
Changed the belt and the car drove smoothly. Try and inspect the oil seal around the pulley . You shd get a good one. |

When I tell folks, Bolt has better features. they will say I'm promoting them.
If it was bolt. No need to pick such a ride. Cos, you r seeing THREE critical metrics. 1. Destination n potential km to b covered 2. Pick up distance. 3. Fare estimates
