Seniors, during the taxify training, at d end of the presentation, dey showed two columns of car models.
Lite - 2002-2004
Bolt- 2005 upwards.

Someone mentioned DT riders go for lite by default. N DT dose on bolt don't get riders like d guys under lite. N d car I registered with is 2006 corrolla.

Pls. Do I need to worry about getting requests? or requests will com regardless of the category?

Thanks.

If I know the rider, I'd ask him/her to press charges against you for dangerous driving and grieveous bodily harm in your ehailing platform and in a court of law. From your comment, you feel happy and fulfilled doing it.
How is he happy? Who will be happy if one had an accident? The emotional trauma she is going thru. I feel most for the rider. But let's thank God that they both survived.

If you have no encouraging words @ this tym for the chap. Move to other threads, Mr litigation.

The corolla I drive from my observation does 160km on a 3k fuel(20.6 liter) so going by your 12km per liter then 20.6 liters should cover 247km

Men my corolla dey kill me oh!! I noticed the consumption had to take it back to my partner, we changed all the four coils, plug first then I took it back went to workfoybd out it was still consuming fuel went back told them to scan, according to his mechanic they scanned and it showed that they should service nozzles/injector..i still know it's consuming fuel..

Gazzuzz what do I do next?
but a major part of d 160km was done with Ac, so more or less I think #800-900 worth of fuel went with d ac . so that leaves actual 160km for #2,200 fuel WC I think is still fair.

GAZZUZZ:
you don't always have to start from the bottom.

Fill the tank and stop filling at first click.

Drive to Aja and come back. Fill the tank again and stop at first click. Measure the amount of fuel bought.
thanks boss, that's a very good way. Never thought of that before.

he is right. But I have not tried it with this Corrolla. I used to drive a Nissan primera 98, manual, mehn d fuel efficiency of that car no b here, on the freeway, I would do like 84 km with #1,000 naira fuel.

My prayer is that this car too should b like that.

GAZZUZZ:
total distance 62km

1k fuel is 6.9 liters.

Your average corolla will average 12km on a liter (1liter )of fuel if you drive calmly

1 k fuel will take you and bring you back

Stop the generalisation about youths in the south-west. The ones descibed abandoned schooling or any trade/craft dey were enrolled into.

Even from your region, check out the specs of the youths always extorting money, they also abandoned education and lack any form of training or skill.

The militancy in the south-south years back is a classic example. Check out the specs of the rank and file in that group, you will find your answer.

It depends on how you look @ it.

In Abj, the roads are quite good, especially within d city centre, no bad roads like we HV in Lagos.

Also, no police extortion, no lastma, and limited one ways, you would only have issues with Agbero if you pick their passengers or drop in front of the market or front of their loading parks.

So maintenance on vehicle is quite minimal, but you don't have the kind of population of riders like you have in Lagos.

However, if you have a confirmed Belgium Toyota corrollla, you would make a killing by getting more offline customers that would pay per hour. and those that go interstate.

For instance, sometimes you might get offline trip ( drop-off) to Jos. The going rate is 40-45k. Fuel to n fro for a corolla shd around 6k.

You would go n come back in DT same day. You will have a net of 30k. Uber n taxify can't give you that.

Pls. Don't play with your A.C in Abuja, that is d only edge you have over there. Premium is always placed on cars with A.c by the riders.

The real riders ( I mean the pple who don't consider cost n have d cash ) most tyms always require offline trips.

One more thing: Think about the big picture, if you want a job ensure your CV is always @ hand, also if it's business, you cud register a business enterprise or company as you deem fit.

Cos sometimes you pick riders that might take you off the street.

The influential folks around there "hide in plain sight", or move at odd hours, don't make the mistake of assesing by clothes or shoes, the bling -bling are not d real folks.

Good luck.

I currently drive in Lagos but have plans of relocating to ABJ. Here is the twist, I will be getting a new car for HP shortly before relocating so my question to the abuja peeps is ''on an average, can I pull through'' ? Considering the flow and frequency of request.

One particular year, before you get to Ibilo, I was coming from Abuja going to Lagos, sighting them, they came into the road with their sticks studded with nails,

I saw them, n they knew I saw them too, I wondered how pple who didn't represent d Fg to harass pple on a federal highway.

I flashed them twice n held the full lights, was on speed on gear 4 or so n downshifted back to 3 and went back to 4 again, the van leaped forward again wt full speed, they all dropped their wooden sticks onto the road and cleared off. I climbed it with speed, my right back tyres was punctured .

I drove like that for about 10km ,before I saw a vulcanizer to repair it.

Local govt touts,Very unreasonable and unfortunate lot.

you cud cancel n it won't count against you and d rider won't b charged.

Pls kindly explain how this works. Thanks.

Seniors, you mean uber could axe you for canceling trips. :- what about scenarios whereby you cancel for security reasons ( fear of your life and the car. )
and wats the benchmark for cancellations.

How many trips cancelled in a day wud make one receive the hammer?

Target should be to cling on good revenue, so that when commissions and fuel are removed you can have a good balance that equates some people monthly salary
my apologies, just to make the Lagos extortionists ( we all know them) see that what we make on the dashboard is different from wat we take home. Sorry for any form of derailment of ur mentions.
