Hello guys, pls I need ur honest advice. I have been working with a microfinance institution for almost 5yrs now. But no growth and recognition. The transport fare given every week to the meeting place doesn't cover for the week. In a month, I add nothing less than 20k from my salary to the transport. Again, the pressure of the work and tasks do not commensurate with the salary. Again, staff her not being appreciated at the end of the year. Not even a cup of rice is given apart from your usual salary. U don't get confirmed based on ur experience in the job but by no of people u get. Unlike some other jobs,u get confirmed after 6months of being with them. No career growth in the job. My direct supervisor is even toxic and unprofessional in her usage of words to staff. I am thinking of quiting the job, for pos biz. In other words, I have been in one position in the job for close to 5yrs, not even slow growth. I intend quiting for a pos biz, I have already seen a busy location for the biz,I wanted to put someone so as to continue with the job so it could add to my salary, but I haven't seen anyone for sometime now. Pls I need ur Input |

Nairaland is too selective in bringing people's post to front page for greater views and suggestions. For example I posted about a scammer on crime session this morning concerning my close person who was scammed nairaland moderators cud not shift it to front page for greater views and suggestions, perhaps anyone here cud know d criminal lady. Also people here cud learn to be cautious in doing online business. Nairaland sometimes sucks! |
Good morning nairalanders, a lady very close to me fell for a scam. She got a lady's whatsapp number from one of these social media, she claims to sell bags, shoes and other wears. she always put pictures of her wears on whatsapp status. So this lady close to me had interest to buy some of these wears for resale. They chatted on whatsapp and even talked on phone and the agreement was pay before delivery. This lady close to me sent the money to the account she sent to her. Unfortunately the goods were not delivered to her. My friend called her back that she was yet to receive the goods she now told her that she needed to add more goods to the ones she selected that they can't deliver such small amount of goods at this time my friend knew she was a fraudster. She no longer reply my friend on whatsapp, she doesn't even pick her call again. Here is the scammer's no 07026905748 below is the picture she put on whatsapp profile. Pls nairalanders my friend needs help on how to reclaim her money from this scammer. She doesn't want to involve the police as they may also extort her... Pls moderator help me move to front page for greater views and suggestions to also make people not to fall victim...

Good evening nairalanders, pls I v been with a microfinance institution for some years now and no growth or personal development and the work is full of pressure from supervisor and management, it even get worse in this cashless time the clients are finding it hard to repay. Now I am thinking of resigning to start up a keke biz that is, I want to buy a fairly used keke and start up a keke biz. Wud this be a good decision? |
Good morning nairalanders, I have been working with one of the microfinance institutions for close to 4yrs now. The problem is that the work is very hectic, tiresome and no promotion. The pressure of the work from ur superior could give one bp. U don't even have time to personal development, u work from 8:00am to sometimes 8:00pm. If u want to take leave it becomes an issue, they hardly grant it. because of all of these disadvantages, I plan to buy a fairly used keke for business and resign the job. Pls advice me if this is a good move. |
