Hunger is nobody's mate. It is spreading it's fangs grin.
The UK actually needs food now more than before. Population is skyrocketing, farms are not meeting up, at some point it was in the news even eggs were scarce, So anything seemingly legit to move food into the country is allowed at this time.
Besides, they need more of those organic produce from Africa.
But then, it's business, they are thinking smart.

Let me start making moves on what to export, I pray it goes well. Those with ideas can share biko.

you're probably right. So why is ours way much cheaper?

The price is placed high in some places esp much developed countries probably to reduce high level of sugar consumption as they battle with obesity and diabetes(I do not have stats though, just a simple reasoning). It's not really about quality as they all taste same for me oo.

for that student spring bed size, Not doubting you at all.
Around 2016, I bought a size a bit bigger than the student size ( mouka foam at that), about #7kplus.
That same mattress sold above 20k late last year.

I still do not understand why all of a sudden, the Igbo word Mma has become Nma , the way ugu (pumpkin leaves) has been renamed ugwu.

You see people writing Chidimma as Chidinma(this is so wrong), and most Igbos are seriously making that mistake.

Mma means pleasing, beauty, good, could also imply accepting etc.

Hello nairalanders, please I would like to know how to get involved with Amazon kdp, I have ample time to myself now (my business is a bit on hold due to the prevailing insecurity in the country as it's a business that requires a lot of physical presence...), I have 24 hours active internet sub that can enable me do work online, I have my phones and laptops, I have my space.

I will appreciate some good advise/guide on how to start with kdp medium/low/no content publishing or even any other remote work.

What other skills can I equally learn within few months that can generate some passive income for me.

Please those with experience kindly share ideas with a sister.
Thank you.

My sister, to be honest send her to catholic boarding school. At least you are sure during school time your daughter is getting minimal comfort and better education.only during holiday your daughter will manage in your sister house.

Going to your friend house might not turn out best.

This is also a very nice suggestion, infact I feel it's the best when there is no other relation good enough to take care of her. Not that the sch will give you a 100% of the care but atleast you are sure of some level of comfort for her. And you can always video call to know how she is fairing.
I pray God grants you the grace to take her with you ASAP.

Chai! How I wish I can tell you to bring her over to my place. She will be well taken care of , that I know until you are ready for her to be with you in Germany. This kind of arrangement can give some one sleepless nights.
I feel for the little girl, she is just my daughter's age , imagine having my daughter in such situation.

Very apt. Nigerians and this their mentality of my "unborn kids". What of your self and your mental health?? That's why we loot and steal with impunity all because of our so called kids and unborn kids to give them a better life.

My father did the best he could and left the stage for me. I am doing well for myself. I can't sacrifice my mental health and peace of mind because I want to provide the best for my kids. When they grow up, they face the challenges and work their way out.

I wish I can like this post a hundredth times.

But if you have all it takes to relocate legitimately without it impacting your finances, mental health etc, please do ,I believe there are average Nigerians who are presently doing well in the country but wants something saner and can as well sustain it.
Education / Re: How We Are Punished In Nigerian Secondary & Primary Schools (Photos) by Nuliberry: 7:53pm On May 03, 2022
Znation:
If you went to your primary and secondary school here in Nigeria, then i'm sure you might have went through alot.

Six years going through primary and another six years in secondary wasn't an easy journey at all.

In my own time, we were treated like slaves; they turned us to farmers. We used to work in our teachers farm every thursday, and labour in school compound every friday. As if that is not enough, we also payed for labour fees even though we are the labourers.

I only enjoyed my secondary school during my ss3. Then, i was the S.P during my time and i was respected by everybody including my teachers.

It pains me that even in this present days, our children are still been abuse in school. They flogged us like they don't care, and they want us to know book.

I went to private school, but i'm very much sure that it is more difficult in the private sector than the goverment schools.

The goverment should do something about the way our children are been treated in school.

Hmm! You really must have 'went' through a lot.
And finally, you were made the SP of your school, Congratulations!
Sure nobody forced you to know books afterwards .

If I have my way, I will propose that boarding schools should be scraped. I have a little cousin brother who attends one of the boarding schools in maitama Abuja. During the covid 19 lockdown last year, I spent two months at his parents place. The type of information I got from this little boy as regards the happening in his school are horrifying. I wanted to draw his mum's attention to the happenings in his school, but he pleaded with me not to. And the school in question is a catholic school o.

You wanted to bring the information to his mother and he pleased you should not and then you let it be?? Such horrifying information as you termed it.
Hmm! It will be a great disservice to your cousin, his parents and humanity if you an adult keep quiet on such. When it boomerangs who then do you blame.

Please draw the attention of your cousin's parents to the horrifying issue as a matter of urgency.
Thank you as you do the needful.

kowalsky:

Lol. Even in the Queen's palace gangrenous diabetic foot secondary to diabetic neuropathy will be amputated.

Either they do what I'm assuming to be an above the knee amputation now or they'll come back much later for a full limb amputation.

But you are not God you know.
Like amputation would be that easy on the amputee and the family?

Encourage OP to atleast seek more other solution albeit asap before finally settling for the last option which ofcos you yourself it will never be a mean task on them.

Some Nigeria medical practictioner and whack
diagnoses are like 5&6, so don't lol yet.

I almost fell victim of "cutting my son open" in the name of surgery for one stomach thing....long story anyways, but thank God I stayed calm to think despite the doctors pressure on me to make deposit so they could carry out the operation.

I left there, went to another hospital with my child....hmmm! This second doctor just told me in conclusion, madam you are just lucky you didn't fall for that.
More than how many years now and we are still doing very very fine.( Every glory and praise to God Almighty).

Op like I opined earlier, please I beg you, seek for second sound opinion but please be fast , if after all that ,you see amputation is the last call, then you know you tried.
Peace!

Don't be in a hurry to amputate the leg I have seen something like this before where the man involved later walked..

I feel same too.

Have you considered using acupuncture approach??

And some naturopaths??

You could try reaching out on these professionals too for their opinions as well.

Personally I don't always conclude just based on what one or two medical doctors profer as solutions....(they may not be so right you know), I always dig deep and look for more solution to avoid regrets.
Romance / Re: When you come across any Lady With the Entitlement Mentality, tell her this. by Nuliberry: 1:27pm On Oct 23, 2021
Toks2008:

No be lie. The crazy twist is that most ladies value what a man gives over the sacrifice he makes...

Simply put, a typical naija girl will value a man who gives her 1M out of his billions than a guy who gives her 100k out of 150k he has home and away.

So why should any man kill himself trying to satisfy a lady when she is most likely to cut your call just to answer a guy that gives her more regardless of the sacrifice you made?

This is why I tell men to give ladies only what they can afford so that at the end it won't be too painful if the lady disappoints.

But please where una dey meet all these ladies that demand arms and legs from you guys?

Just asking for a friend though cheesy
