After due consultations, I think the best path to tow would be

1. Do a full vin check and get to know what port the vehicle is bound. If it is Benin Republic it's a red flag stay away.

2. if the port is lagos or other ports in south East and south south, no wahala you move to next phase

3. since you may not be prevy of the custom payment for that car model and year you go to the custom desk and ask not only to confirm the custom documents but to print out a fresh copy, give reasons.

4. you can study the custom document there are information embedded in it like when car came into the country, how it came, state it was in etc.
Also payment made for the vehicle, most of the documents are photocopy but the are clear and crisp.

5. I am certain you will be given a receipt to that effect with that, you can fight them in court if any issue happened because YOU paid for a background check which was verified ok by custom and if it later was certified as fake you will not be liable for loss.

6. I am not a lawyer but the law says you can't claim right for been ignorant. you are liable if you trust the dealer words, the law will punish you. But if you take steps in confirming what you want to buy and you have evidence to that effect (am guessing the new certificate will have evidence of recent date) which you will tender in court as your own safety net showing ineffectiveness of customs in doing their job.

the C350 and c300 are same just the C350 is faster than the c300.

comparing the C350 to ZDX both are in different category the C63s 2011 isn't as luxurious as the ZDX, I am sure the C350 won't do any better.

the C63s and zdx tie at handling but the C63s is faster, has more hp and a sporty feel to it.

pick the zdx to stand out and reliability.

maintenance, cost, fuel economy are extremely close between the C350 and ZDX.

The pattern both TV are produced will surely be different because their model no is not the same..but their build quality will be very different and the difference is not just packaging....
Engineers prefer the first pix because the parts are readily available to get and also very simple to work with because they are all produced in the same pattern no Matter the name of the brand and that's one of the reason it is cheaper
Most of the TV produced now are made to be able to work in other countries effectively
And also new products of Australia, Malaysia and so on are far better than all these fouani....even their tokunbo are very ok when it comes to durability

And that is one of the reason I love Samsung products because they are very good in what they do and they don't verify substandard products to other countries to be used and that is one of the reason u can easily identify the real one from its counterpart

baba forget it there is no substandard anything or fake anything, all lies in technology used and standard of a country. The difference is screen type LED, LCD or PDP.

we don't have standard in naija so they use the cheapest screen type just to cut cost, that's why when you go show room you see Sony, Philips,Samsung and midea 32inch tv and their prices are different. if you view midea from one angle you will notice black and white.

if you really know your TV screens you will pick Sony the most expensive because even within the LED family we have OLED and Co.

The difference is in technology not one is substandard or fake.

I can buy a Nigerian used car even if it has 1 million miles as long as the price is right even if the engine is bad and can be easily found not all these brilliance and geely nonsense.

I can't buy a used car with 200 miles on odometer that needs body work, rusting or corroded, flooded with plethora of electrical misalignment.

most important is I can't buy a car without OBD port or not functioning.

Its not where to buy cars but actually steps to buy a car

1. inspection
2. test drive to see if you like
3. known proper documents needed and investigation (vin check for tokunbo) and custom paper confirmation.
4. have it at the back of your mind that a used car whether naija or tokunbo would need a few fixes to ur taste could be as little as battery to new tyres.
5. vehicle registration/re-registration

my brothers Samsung TV 32inch has no USB port but HDMI but mine which I bought later has one USB and HDMI while that same 32inch bought later on has 3usb ports.

mine has only a 5 way rocking button his has individual bottoms. if you know how electronics work you will notice there should be a difference.

WHAT IS A CATALYST

The car catalyst turns harmful gases going out of the engine into environmental gases. It contains special metals that reacts easily with harmful gases produced.

overtime catalyst breaks down and may block the passage way of the exhaust causing buildup which may lead to engine failure. later designs were done to breakup and disperse out through the exhaust

WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN CATALYST FAILS
if the mechanic checks and says catalyst has failed never allow him to build anything that looks like catalyst because they use substandard materials which later breakdown into particles eventually blocking the exhaust passage and back to square 1 or worse frying pan to fire (total destruction/disintegration of engine)

WHAT CAN I DO THEN WHEN CATALYST FAILS?
The best and most appropriate thing to do is buy a brand new OEM replacement for the vehicle in question

or
if a catalyst replacement is too expensive weld a straight pipe to replace the pot of the catalyst then buy oxygen sensor defouler (cost 5k each) and weld to the exhaust pipe before bolting the oxygen sensor. so the amount of oxygen sensor would determine the among of the defouler you will buy. With that you won't have error codes associated with oxygen sensor which can lead to increased fuel economy.
the downside to this is harmful gases would be released to the environment.

the kia does not overheat necessarily don't misquote my words.

The engine is expensive and when it overheats most people can't afford a replacement so they ask mechanic to rebuild and the job is not always done properly hence a smoking engine.
I have only noticed such with majority of those who got it from companies.

The kia engine is good only the AC compressor gives way easily

Good morning House, pls help me out. My Nissan Sentra suddenly stop when I was driving since then it has refuse to start. Electrician have checked it everything seem to be okay put he is suspecting one of the position camshaft sensor. What else can cause a motion vehicle to stop without any prior notice?

yes the nissan engine has 2 position sensor that goes bad and makes the engine not to start. if he has checked fuel pump, fuses spark plugs and he is sure they are fine then he can change that to ascertain the situation.

Hello house, I noticed a Nissan frontier, I started using recently from office was consuming more fuel than usual. I took it to a mechanic yesterday and he told me that d catalyst was removed hence d reason for d high consumption of fuel.
He told to buy catalyst and that any Nissan catalyst can work on d vehicle.
Pls, gurus in the house how true is that statement and wat is the cost and where can I get a good Nissan catalyst?

your fuel consumption is caused by the fact that oxygen sensor defouler wasn't fixed to the pipe when the catalyst was removed. Also scan the car and work with the codes. Also don't a fix a different catalyst from another nissan or other brands fix an exact catalyst or go for OEM with the capacity of what was removed.

What do you think of this car? I know so many Nigerians believe in Toyota and Honda. I've read reviews about Kia on the web and I know they have a not-so-good history, but they started making amends from the 2010 model I think. So, is this a good option? I Like the Toyota Corolla 2007 LE (I know everyone will praise it), but I hate the design (both interior and exterior). Lol.

The 2005 C240 4Matic is also an option.

The rio is ok just note that the compressor gives way easily also the engine is the most expensive of the lot just ensure you don't used wrong oil and don't let engine overheat you will be fine.

The corolla is a good buy too but a robber magnet.

The C-class is a respect luxurious car and that year you are looking at is ok too.
