Joy099:Give it out as hire purchase or drive to own. Individual drops a down payment and remits weekly or monthly for a period of time. If person defaults withdraw the vehicle, if vehicle is damaged, withdraw vehicle and use down payment to fix. |
I knack Akpako for a living ![]() |
chiefbuchiV12:Wait ooh, you mean a 1mzfe is 300k now, chai what a nonsense economy we dey so. |
Timibraun0010:Always lend your car to friends and family even if they don't know how to drive thank me later |
efesam:Disembark from the journey |
Correct05:The Azera has 4 cylinder and V6 too just like the sonata so you are covered in good fuel economy. |
If it's not haulage of people good, you won't have heat issues when there is no AC. The CE has not tint so no need of tint permit but ensure the CE you are buying has roof rack. Also the CE rear windows aren't automatic you have to open it manually which is stressful. CE has middle bench seat against captain arm in the other trims but the bench makes it easy to empty the sienna of seat for more cargo space and can easily seat 3 people against 2 for captain arm chairs ![]() The symphony edition is the best you get good audio system and more speakers with probably a middle mirror that has temp and location telling. LE and XLE are the other trims with some LE having fabric seat instead of leather. For parts as at the time I was in charge of maintenance, I did say it is the cheapest car I have ever owned b4 the advent of buhari, Engine was 100-120k still on my factory engine Gear was 50k to 90k still on my factory gear Shocks front Chinese new 20k for both still using since 2018 Shocks rear Chinese new 15k for both still using since 2019 Front rotor complete brandnew 10k for both legs changed 2018 still using it Rear drum setup 15k for both never changed but rust showed me shege, I changed minor parts here, springs, drum lining hook etc was very cheap. If you have problem with the fuel pump, the tank must always come down and mechanic go bill you like 3 to 5k just to unbolt and bolt the tank only minus workmanship, yeah it's a serious work that gives neck cramps if the tank hits the ground often (mine was hooked by tree stomp during my garri hauling days) bye bye to fuel sender unit, your fuel gauge would always show error forever.I never had problem with engine used 5w40 for 6 years, no smoke no delay, I was only stranded once when my AC compressor froze and the water pump, alternator belt shred to pieces. If you refuse to change gear oil at regular intervals I did say you will change your gear as soon as possible especially high mileage vehicles, change transmission fluid every 1 and 1-half years if not sorry is your case, I know 6 people who changed gear because of that, that's how I knew the gear price then. Headlamps start fading after you change the bulb to those in naija except you get original Philip bulbs. Engine seals may start leaking oil especially at the rear of the engine, a job which is a bit uncomfortable. Steering rack from what I gathered was 30k, it leaks and hardens when idle but soft when moving. Mine started leaking after a year even till now. Be careful of Canadian or snowy region import rust tend to affect their underneath, I broke 2 lower arms and it destroyed a brand new tire I just thank God I wasn't on speed else nah accident be that. I fixed rust which was minimal as the rusted parts were changeable but my chassis was okay no rust Lastly the drum brakes hate water (flood) they will just bind, I battled this several, i just eventually stopped using the hand brake and bought good brake lining. Bought mine tokunbo 2014 still own it but rarely driven |
Shakur94:Ajah to Epe though that Epe road after the bridge was bad in 2019 to 2020 don't know the current situation. Lagos to sagamu though you have to be conversant there, too many transporters and few passengers at sagamu coming back to lagos. Berger to Obalende/ikoyi/VI/Lekki the BRT unseriousness has made this a hot cake. Oshodi to Obalende/ikoyi/VI/Lekki Lagos to Ibadan |
Correct05:Azera is a senior brother to sonata, more refined and luxurious than the sonata. The sonata has a 4cylinder and V6 engines, since it's from US, it's a solid ride too. Boh vehicles share parts because some engine offering are also same for both. |
Astoria:To cut cost |
ddestiny20:Element is not good for 7 people haba buy the galaxy |
ddestiny20:Mazda parts are scarse especially their latest offerings, they are also not common except those old ones used as taxi, but they are strong nonetheless. Ford galaxy shares part with Vw sharan and they are very common, parts available too. It's also a 7 seater but I don't know what year you talking about. Honda element is a reliable vehicle, rare vehicle to come by, body parts are extremely expensive other parts suspension and engine are very cheap because it shares parts with several honda and acura brands. Out of the 3 I will talk about only ford and element they are both strong, fuel economy ford though depending on what engine you buy, the element isnt bad in the fuel.econ too 12L per 100km combined. Good or bad roads the galaxy would navigate like the element. But are almost on.par what you need them for is the difference remember the element has like only 2 doors and you need AC for the rear passengers make heat no kill them |
From what I gathered, they are similar but hybrid has another electric power attached to the 3mz Also the 3mz in the hybrids have reduced power meaning something is different between it and regular non hybrid vehicles using 3mz |
Idaytesj29:Personal. I never personally owned those variant of sienna. Am talking about different cars entirely |
Idaytesj29:Car do me shege had to learn by force |
pedrilo:Your budget can't get tokunbo of those vehicles. Naija used only crv, sportage and Tucson |
Idaytesj29:I am not a mechanic also I don't run a repair shop ![]() |
oladiran2:Bro longtime, how your side? |
Jaaqofalltrade:If it is within the year required and it passes inspection |
revived2:There are people rocking their crosstour but try and buy 2013 to 2015 model |
Idaytesj29:Yes |
Idaytesj29: |
Lovelynife:Yes you can sir/ma |
Idaytesj29:Tell them you want a sienna from 2004 to 2010 LE or CE with 8 seatings. The 8 seater has the 3rd seat standard while others are majorly 7 seater. Stay away from AWD variant you don't need it XLE, limited and touring would be very expensive because of offering. LE should be better as it would have factory leather and roof rack. CE may not have roof rack, it may be non factory tint so no need for tint permit but it mostly.has the 8 seater option and no power button for the sliding doors. For a transporter to balance functionality with price, I would say focus on the LE trim. If I was a transporter I would only buy a sienna with 3.3 engine and manage myself with timing belt change intervals. The 3.5 is all aluminum over heating can destroy it, it is fitted with timing chain a plus for it but then if the rubber hose oil cooler hasn't been changed and it fails on motion that one nah village pipu things ![]() |
chiefbuchiV12:For the fuel economy seems its model dependent not same across board. Users say 3.3 is more fuel efficient in sienna than 3.5 while 3.5 is more efficient in lexus than 3.3 |
Idaytesj29:Run flat tyres are tyres that can still be used after they are deflated, they can still move a considerable amount of distance before you stop and have them fixed. They are not so great here in naija seemsnthey can't be fixed when spoilt. XLE trim is extra luxurious edition just a trim meaning the vehicle in question is well loaded with luxurious offerings. AWD is all wheel drive meaning vehicle has a back axle which assist the front wheels when vehicle loses traction or when the two front wheels a stucked. |
adaenwa:I don't always advice naija used vw products because they don't take abuse and nigerians rarely maintain their cars. Now the accord is reliable the only downside is the transmission I would have preferred you pick a 2005 upwards instead if you can. Then the shaft issues which a new commer might not be used to. The Jetta I know is reliable in all aspect if it is the American version not the European one that is Bora which sometimes is called jetta too. The VW parts are more expensive but they always last and are more original. The jetta has many sensors attached to different parts. I would advise you pick the accord but make it a 2005 upwards if you can or inspect the 2004, ensure there is no hidden gear fault and change transmission oil immediately you buy it, then change subsequently every year to avoid transmission wahala |
Praxtech:Have been to London to see the queen |
cdoffx:KA24 engine reach upto 10 variants and all can't work for each other, they have minor differences though some are interchangeable but the two years you are comparing can't be interchaged. |
Jaaqofalltrade:Nissan micra, sentra, primera, almera Peugeot 206, 306 Honda civic, city europe and North America. Honda fit, honda shuttle. Ford focus, mondeo Audi tiger face Keep away from Renault's, fiat and those very unpopular brands |
brainycaleb:1. It's an Audi, not very top in the reliability index 2. The engine has turbo, turbo engines need optimum maintenance meaning more expensive oil and some other timely maintenance to avoid unforeseen breakdown 3. The engine is a performance oriented one, not good on fuel economy 4. It's a 4 wheel drive vehicle too would be a bit heavier than a FWD and also 4wd has it's own maintenance and most 4wd variant of a vehicle has more pricey parts. |
brainycaleb:You want to use a 2.7 turbo V6 engine vehicle for transportation, apart from the outrageous price the vehicle is going for, this particular engine is like pouring petrol to quench a wild fire. Flee from the deal |
