Toyota harrier which is a rebadged lexus RX300 was equipped with
5sfe 4 cylinder and 2azfe.

In other words, the mechanic converted the lexus to toyota Harrier, the same 4 speed auto for all 3 engine variants, the only thing is how the brainbox was able to work well if that truly is a lexus RX300 from factory

GS350 uses electric power steering. The system does not use power steering fluid since there is no rack and pinion accompanied with pump.

Brand new or new vehicle which ever tickles your fancy always recommend "at least" 2000km before any oil change, which has been done by the dealership before been sold. But our argument is not about oil change but whether the vehicle is new or naija used.

Your 2000/2500km is for car wey don pass the manufacturer warranty of 100,000kms.

1000km is for engines that were just rebuilt to allow for break in.

That mileage is still good for a brand new car, not all cars leave factory on cranes and not all cars enter naija through lagos ports, other far away ports are functioning.

Most highly expensive cars are not driven on the road because of cost of repairs if it involves in an accident caused by reckless road users.

Number 2, no sane person would do a oil change for a brand new vehicle whose ODO reads 2000km.

If you hit a pedestrian in Nigeria run fast to the nearest police station to report and ask for help.

Toyota sells more in naija because people believe it is the best in reliability and it doesn't break like other cars, which is true to a degree.

Honda accord is the most sold honda.in Nigeria but the resale value plummet because of the shaft collapse syndrome, that syndrome was a natural withdrawal of consumers in naija from all honda vehicle models. Tell any nigerian to buy honda and first thing he would as is he heard that the front leg always collapse

Nah people wey don drive several brands no dey shy away from any vehicle yes there are some mazda, nissan, honda you should shy away from but majority a still very ok.

Mazda is just more of a taxi vehicle to most people reason it isn't common.

Most of you are wrong about the resale value any car bought in 2019 as tokunbo would be worth same tokunbo price in naija used now because of

1. Inflation in Nigeria economy

2. Naira depreciation against international currency.

Also a camry 2006 is worth 2.5m tokunbo and naija used around 1.8m, difference of 700k. A honda accord DC is worth 1.8 to 2m tokunbo and naija used is around 1.4m difference of 600k. The honda cost less to purchase and has a better value loss than the camry.

That's an electric power steering. Scan vehicle to pinpoint where you issue lies, also check alternator and battery if they are in good condition.

I intend getting a naija used civic. The current owner claims car was bought brand new, so it doesn't have a customs paper. Moreover, there is no evidence or invoice it was bought brand new by the original owner.

I am afraid- will customs men disturb me on the road with this car.

Car price in Nigeria is not by caliber. A VW passat and Audi A6 are more loaded than a camry but camry is more expensive in value than them.

The 508 must have been bought brand new In Nigeria and was official vehicle of top Gov workers so its expected for it to be well maintained and still in mint condition with all things being equal.

Cheap, how much is the asking price. Though I haven't heard of any known defect about the 508, naija used retails around 5m now

The crosstour is like 0.4in higher theoretically but then i researched the crosstour handles like a sedan which is a plus for me. Is the 2013 V6 Accord engine prone to VCM issues too? I thought the earth dreams V6 doesn't have the VCM? Personally, i don't drive anything less than a V6 [maybe I'll try all these turboed 4 cylinders in the future sha] and i don't like a 4 cylinders lugging around an suv body. To me the venza is also overpriced and i don't really like what its offering for its outrageous price too. Just a reliable 2GR, big cargo space and panoramic roof. The RX is way too costly but i like it is why im even considering if i can see a well maintained used.

Both 3.5L v6 offered in the accord crosstour has VCM, except the j30 in the china variant.
