Collect the money fast. It may be an answer to your poverty issue. |
It is the nature of God to send Warners to devilish and wayward nations before destroying them. Bush should take the letter as a warning from God. It does not matter if it is coming form the directoion of Iran. All right thinking and concentious minds whether American or not should ponder on the posers drawn in the letter. The worship of One God and the brotherhood of all mankind is the only thing that can bring world peace. Read the letter if you have not read it. Lets pay for Bush and all the Presidents to repent and follow the path of Jesus, Muhammad, Moses and the Apostles. |
I think we should do away with all things imported, radio television, computer, even cell phone. One day we will do away with some of us. Look lets face it, our problem in Nigeria is not from religion per se, if at all it has anything to do with it, then it is the way we apply religion to our daily ordinary life. Lets talk of more important things. |
If i were to be single, i will toast the daughter of Central Bank Guvnor |

Role Model: Prophet Muhammad. Raised as an orphan, yet became successful in business, family life, politics and religion. A President, a Prophet, a Judge, a Doctor, an Engineer, a Friend, wait a minute, an handsome polished and ever benevolent. He is much more rolled into one noble personality. The Greatest Human being to ever live. |
A patient in my friend's hospital in Lagos had similar experience. He swore he he was wide awake but saw the black robed being. He being a Muslim said he sent the being away by proclaiming Lailaa ila Lau. The nurses testified they heared when the man was shouting Lailaa ila lau but were too afraid as it was in the middle of the night to go to his ward. I had a dream that i have narrated on another thread before somehow similar. Science my coin a name for such things but the fact is that they do happen. Malaria is a fact, so also sickle cell and all the others that have been fully diagnosed but that did not mean they are not real to the sufferer. Even highly diagnosed diseases have been known to be cured by prayers or what you may call natural healing even in the face of resignation by medical experts. |
We live in the society together, why the separation. |
which punishment are you referring to |
Charlisco, anyone who disbeleive in Islam will definitely speak against it. But it is a different matter if a disbeliever causes harm to the adherent of Islam of creates impediment that will make it difficult if not impossible to practise the religion. Such a person is the enemy of Allah and His Prophets. Also speaking against Islam has to be qualified before it can consitute waging war against Allah. This is because honest dialogue, questionings, explainations are all admissible without the use of foul languages, threats and condemnation either in prints or in words. So please see if you can reconstruct your questions. |
I have been married for 12 years and my last child is 7 plus. Spices include getting away once in a while to where you would be alone, maybe a full weekend. Secondly, the woman should at times be the one to initiate sex. Both should not be afraid or shy to try hot and uncommon postures at very funny times. Pray together once in a while. |
Nigeria will be Great. It is the will of God. If we all start repairing the present mess from our respective tiny corners, we will meet at the center one day. |
Yes Prothet Muhammad does not support violence but more importantly abhors undue provocations from anybody. |
Thanks Kismat, May Allah make us enter paradise and grant us His Pleasure. |
I like these posts. I think no effort is too small or too big to make Nigeria better. The President mong other thungs need to make Nigerian love the country. When you love something you want go all out to nourish it. Most of us dont believe in the country. We are quick to see the negative traits and always choose to be blind to the positive ones. |
Exu is right. Some of those fighting dont even know why they are doing so. It is the manipulations of the elites for political and economic gains that is at the root of most Nigerian clashes. |
On the issue of Jesus calling God his father, read the explaination below as reproduced from a christian article: '' What does the Bible mean then, when it says that Jesus is the son of God? In most modern languages it is rare to use the words father and son in other but literal meanings of biological descent. That is why readers of the Bible in translation may be honestly mistaken. The word son as applied to Christ and the word father as applied to God must be understood as metaphorical, that is, in a meaning other than the literal biological one. Indeed, few people actually understand them literally. No one, insofar as I know, actually believes that God had sexual intercourse with Mary to produce Jesus. Such an idea is revolting to most minds and is certainly not held by any of the established Christian creeds. God is not the father of Christ or any other humans in any literal sense. '' '' The word "son" is clearly used in the Bible to express the character of people, and not always their biological descent. The word is used in both ways in 1 Samuel 2:12. "Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the Lord." It cannot mean that these young men had two biological fathers. The genes of only one sperm can naturally combine with the ovum to produce a genetically new individual. The expression "sons of Belial" means "wicked men," that is "sons of wickedness." '' '' What are the non-biological usages of the word father in the Bible? In Genesis 4:20,21 father of such as dwell in tents and father of all such as handle the harp, suggest a meaning of "inventor, first, prototype." The words father and sons are used in Genesis 10:21 in the sense of ancestor and descendants. Joseph was no doubt younger than Pharaoh, but still he became Pharaoh's father or counselor in Genesis 45:8. The word father is used by a subject in addressing a king in 1 Samuel 24:11. Elisha, while the subordinate of Elijah the prophet, addresses him as father in 2 Kings 2:12.Again in terms of a servant to master, or in this case a soldier to a general, the accompanying soldier addresses Naaman as father in 2 Kings 5:13. '' '' Five distinct groups of meaning appear for father: 1) a literal biological father, 2) an ancestor, 3) an inventor or prototype, 4) someone who gives counsel or information, and 5) someone to whom absolute obedience is due. '' '' Considering that Jesus says that he came to do nothing but his Father's will, the last definition of father is the most appropriate as applied to his relationship with God. Jesus is the Son of God because he perfectly carries out the will of God. It was Christian failure to understand this true meaning that made it necessary, for example, to use another metaphor in the Qur'an for Jesus: servant of God. Neither metaphor completely describes the uniqueness of Christ. They are only two expressions among many. '' '' All such expressions are merely metaphorical and cannot perfectly describe anyone's relationship to God, whose being and essence are completely outside the realm of human expression and language. To say that a person is a child of God or a servant of God is only to point out the relationship as a recipient of divine grace and the responsibility of obedience. God is not anyone's literal father or slave-master. Those are human relations that merely approximate or give a direction in understanding. The Bible uses other terms as well, such as "husband," for God, and metaphorically "unfaithfulness" for sin. All such expressions are only useful to the extent that they inspire us to submit ourselves to God's will. They are not intended to give us information about the nature of God, His essence, being or attributes. '' LET ME STOP HERE FOR NOW |
BIBLE: (One of the Commandments) "You shall not have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3 "Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me." Isaiah 46:9 "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." Isaiah 45:5 "The Lord brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the Lord's; upon them he has set the world." 1 Samuel 2:6-8 QURAN: '[4:36] You shall worship GOD alone - do not associate anything with Him. , [42:9] Did they find other lords beside Him? GOD is the only Lord and Master. He is the One who resurrects the dead, and He is the Omnipotent One. [ 42:11] , There is nothing that equals Him. He is the Hearer, the Seer. [23:116] Most exalted is GOD, the true Sovereign. There is no other god beside Him; the Most Honorable Lord, possessor of all authority. CAN ANYBODY SEE WHAT I AM SEEING Why would anybody deceive him/herself when the answer to a simple question is clear |
4get-me, I have been to hurchs before. I was member of the Boy' Brigade till I entered the University and I grew up under a chritian mother and a muslim father. I know what I am talking of when I say it's just language slants. When a real chriatian pays, in his mind he is addressing a God that can do it, that has power of all things and who would do it because of Jesus. He is not praying to Jesus. Also when a muslim prays, he is addressing God the Almighty and he believes God wil answer him because God said in the Quran ''Call me, I will answer you''. So true muslims and christians believe in the same God but approach Him differently. That is why I like the chritian songs '' How excellent is your name O Lord '' and '' Almighty God, that is your name, You would never share your Glory with anybody, Almighty God that is your name''. Those songs are from the purest spiritual source. |
Allah is the Creator of the Heavens and Earth and all in them. The Creator of Jesus and His Mother, and the Originator of Holy Spirit. To Allah belongs the most beautiful names. If in English it is God, or in Yoruba it is Olodumare, or in Igbo it is Chukwu, or in Hebrew it is Elli, all the names are that of Allah. Whoever you feel is the Most Excellent, is Allah, is Olodumare, is Chineke etc. Stop deceiving and confusing yourself. The question has a straightforward answer, i.e. if the Best Name in English language is God, and the Best Name in Arabic language is Allah, then Allah and God are the same. Just like Wa, So, Bia all mean the same thing. |
4get ; Read this from my posts in other threads '' The use of we by Allah in the Quran is an expression of majesty and not pluralism. Example is when a President is talking, even when it is a fact that he is the one that has taken a decision, he would usually come out and say ' Our Government has decided '. That is not say there are two Presidents in the country. This true for all languages of the world. So contrary to your assertion, the Quran is clear on the fact that there is only one Allah. '' Christians believe and baptise in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. Go and ask them. |
Stanley, Tell us what you know about him. |
The main difference between Islam and christianity is that Islam enjoins believe in, and worship of One God while Christianity teaches believe in three gods ( Father, Son and Holy Spirit ). |
