And really even in population - Nigeria cities are not that great.
Only 5 of their slum cities are 1M people plus.
1 Lagos[a] Lagos 8,048,430
2 Kano[b] Kano 2,828,861
3 Ibadan[c] Oyo 2,559,853
4 Benin City[d] Edo 1,147,188
5 Port Harcourt 1.05m

Kenya has 3 cities with 1M plus people.

1. Nairobi City 3,375,000 (Nairobi Metro Metro 6,547,547)
2. Mombasa City 1,200,000
3. Kisumu City 1,068,826

your stats are way off, Lagos has about 22 million people now. Your stats seem to be from a 2006 census
What happened to Abuja, Aba, Kaduna, Illorin, and even Enugu

Mainly roads Why mainly roads? Infrastructure is a wide term you are only narrowing down to roads for some cheeky reason.

Because chances are the Kenyan cities probably have better electricity and water supply... tongue

Depends on what you're talking about. Nigerian cities will naturally be bigger because you guys excel at reproduction while Kenyans know family planning. Otherwise, if we started comparing amenities such as malls, central parks, water, aesthetics, etc, you would trail.

Oh please, your population growth rate is the same as Nigeria's 2.6%

I was talking about mainly infrastructure(mainly roads) which comes with aesthetics such as lush lawns and some landmarks

There's that cone shaped thingy on the left of that pic. Any idea what it is used for because it looks like this one in Nairobi ?

No idea... my guess would be some type of water resovoir

What's the one in Nairobi used for?

The Nigerian is a subordinate to Njoroge. But trust Nigerians to do anything to present them as equals. If not for the large Nigerian market, Njoroge would have no biz with the other dude. But if they want to feel nice let them.

Anyone can see who's boss here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZWbgb21AA8

The Nigerian is a co-founder as well as the Kenyan meaning they both came together and discussed and idea and both agreed to make that idea a business. Golly...

From what I've seen some of our smaller cities(Uyo & Calabar) beat hands down Kenya's smaller cities(Kisumu & eldoret)

Then again some of our other smaller cities(Aba and Ontisha, etc) dare not even try the comaprison

I can't believe u guys thought all cities in Nigeria looked like Lagos, the danger of the one-sided story

Keep in mind though there are some cities in Nigeria that are utterly disgusting, yea so not all cities look like Uyo or Calabar

Managing Director of Tinapa Business and Resort, Mr. Ayiba Ayiba said the monorail is in good condition, but not moving because there are no passengers. grin

“The monorail is in perfect condition; nothing has happened to it but presently there is no patronage. Whenever we have passengers, we call the engineers to fix necessary things. ” he said. grin grin

Mr. Ayiba also lamented the epileptic power and water supply that has slowed down activities grin grin grin

The monorail is still functional and works. It's Nigeria's first 24/7 functional monorail. Now are u going to say the cable cars are lies too?

Do Dangotelanders lies ever stop? HELLZ NO! Nigga,we revealed your monorail project failed and is now a monument to waste and misplaced prioritisation.

Calabar is a different city from port harcourt. It was port harcourt's monorail that failed

It's this one that failed

Calabar is a one of the major tourist places in Nigeria, that's why it looks good. It gets even better...

They have a functional monorail, Does Kenya have that?

It gets even better there's cable cars close by(does Kenya have cable cars)

Calabar is also home to the famous Calabar Carnival

Let's compare upper hill roads to Uyo. I alredy showed u uyo which u refered to as uniformly slum.

Now let's see upper hill

just outside coco cola headquarters:

ugly, dirty, chaotic roads compared to Uyo. Yes i know there may be a few outliers, there are likely some clean, beautiful streets in Upper hill.

Lets take it from sky level.

poor landscaping here (remmeber we're comparing to Uyo,not a major Nigerian city) :

If u want we can also compare Uyo(lesser known city in Nigeria) to a lesser known city in Kenya if u don't like the comparison to the the great upper hill of Nairobi

You do realize you're contradicting your friend.............he posted that video here over five times boasting about how decent Surulere is and how Nairobi middle class estates can't match it. He posted photos of houses with very high rent claiming that's where your middle class and poor live. The houses I'm posting are even cheaper than those he posted. grin grin grin

Golly, the man said Surulere is mixed income with low income and (lower) middle class income.

You seem confused: Surulere is more like a district in Lagos with different neighborhoods in it
Ojulegba is a neighborhood in Surulere that's obviously low-income. There are other neighborhoods that are more (lower) middle income

Here are some pics of other neighborhoods in Surulere:

Theseare not the poorest Nigerians lol. The poorest Nigerians live in areas like Makoko. These are the average Nigerians. Comparable to Kenyans living in places like Langata, Donholm, Buruburu and Nairobi West.

Buruburu

Nairobi West

Donholm

Ojulegba is a freaking slum for goodness sake, not the average(middle class)

? - Jos
?? - Warri
?? - Kaduna
?? - Ibadan
- Enugu
!?!?- Owerri
- Maiduguri
- Awka
?? - Aba
- Benin city

How many cities does Kenya even have ? grin

I am not comparing Ojuelegba to Kibera lol. We are comparing Lang'ata to Surulere - the magnificent middle-class neighborhood in Lagos. You're the one who is on cheap weed. grin grin grin

Ojuelegba, Surulere

First off Ojulebga isn't middle class as you can see. Have u heard of Wizkid's song "Ojulegba" where he described the place as a place of hardship and how he had to hustle to be successful. Again ojulebga is a part of surulere. There are possibly other parts that could be considered middle class

Wrong again - different cities are unique and no city is exactly same to the other. In Nairobi, the Western side of the CBD borders upper middle class neighborhoods, the northern part borders upper middle class neighbohoods, the Eastern part borders low class neighborhoods and the southern part borders the Industrial Area (Railway Station to be specific). Once more, it's dumb to judge the class of a neighborhood based on its proximity to the CBD.

As long as your ego is fine
Foreign Affairs / Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by nwoke37: 11:40pm On May 26, 2018
continued from above.. Uyo

This city even beats Mombasa in terms of road infrastructure, and Uyo isn't even a major city in Nigeria.

Lol, Now I see...............so according to you guys the closer to the CBD, the richer a neighborhood is? Lol, You guys are funny. Interesting, some of the most Expensive neigborhoods are far away from the CBD. lol. You guys really have a crappy education system. grin grin grin

I schooled in America, thank you. yes they're neigborhoods that are more expensive that are farther away. But generally the CBD most likely has the most expensive buildings as as you go farther out prices come down...

Uyo(capital of Akwa Ibom)
A city other Nigerian cities can learn from
Even the great upper hill of Nairobi can't boast of these roads seen in Uyo
