Generally women are better at being verbal and men more physical. When the shyte hits the fan, it's only normal to reach for one's favourite weapon. Women would go physical too, if they had the strength.

If Mr Y slashes at Mr Z with a razor-sharp knife, and Mr Z cuts off the offending hand with a razor-sharp sword, I do not believe Mr Z is more evil than Mr Y. They both used weapons on each other with the intention of causing harm.

Hmmm... I get you to an extent. First of all, I feel any comparison whatsoever of a period in which you live and one you never got to experience, can hardly be accurate. I do not understand why you said "it's a lot harder to date in the year 2015 vs 1915." The social media explanation doesn't exactly do justice to that claim.

The average human belongs to a herd. Members of that herd is what is changing, not necessarily man.

You see, in pre-modern Africa, family (up to distant relatives) dictated one's taste in almost everything, even choice of spouse. Some women only got to see their future husbands after the father had agreed to the union. The majority of men depended on their relatives for wife-scouting. So the talk about reduced personal efforts to find a good spouse is a bit exaggerated.

Social networking has made it easier to meet peers (the new big herd) and date, whether you would like to agree or not. The power of recreating oneself online is one double-eged sword any wise internet user should be wary of.

Don't get confused, it's the thing with relationships especially amongst the youth. There would always be something to fight over as long as we all keep feeding our minds with stories of how the perfect relationship should be. Seriously, you should never rush into telling a girl how attracted you are to her. Stop being too nice. em... Let's just say there are standards for basically everything. Sometimes it's personal, sometimes shared. She was likely far more beautiful than average, but then we don't know how the average woman in her time and area looked.

There are girls today who would look amazing whether or not they are on make up. I don't think there are many of them sha.
