PoliticsRe: Southwest’s Commitment To Regional Integration - Tinubu by OAM4J: 5:37pm On Nov 14, 2011
What is wrong with SW integrating and building a regional economy? This is not about Tinubu, it's about the benefits those who live in the region get.

I think other regions should follow suit.

Did you ever use Bellview? The airline was a disappointment. Can only hope First nation will be better since its an upgrade of bellview.

r231:
local or international
If they are running on Bellview license then it will be both. But they might have to start with local flight operations.

PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast Injures Four In Bauchi! by OAM4J: 1:31am On Nov 13, 2011
Na wa o!

Forget ElRufai and his comment/opinion, he is not the president, he only expressed his opinion like millions of other Nigerians can do.

Let the C in C of the armed forces and Nigeria security officials find a solution to this and secure the life and properties of the citizens.
PoliticsRe: Has Your Topic Ever Been Deleted? by OAM4J: 12:41am On Nov 13, 2011
@ OP

We do not delete threads except threads promoting falsehood and threads capable of causing damages. Even duplicates thread are not deleted but locked and linked to the earliest.

All threads depend on the subject should be posted to the right section and where the OP fails to do so the moderators have a duty of moving such threads to the right section.

I know so many Gaddafi threads were started on Politics section but as soon as we came online and we noticed them, we moved them to foreign affairs section.

As you have been told, check the foreign affairs section, a sub section under this section (politics) for your thread. It was not deleted but moved.

Thank you

Moderator.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints Here by OAM4J: 12:19am On Nov 13, 2011
Well, to you the answer is "Go and see a doctor". Some other people may have other opinions/comments to give. It is on the home page so that the thread can receive maximum coverage and the OP and other people interested in the answer now and in the future can have as many answers/comments as possible to decide from.

I do not see how posting a question (however 'silly' it looks) to the home page affects our image, all questions including 'silly' ones need an answer. If you think there is a topic that is more important and that should make it to the home page, recommend it here and we will consider it.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints Here by OAM4J: 11:55pm On Nov 12, 2011
^I do not mean to ignore you. I don't determine what topic makes it to the home page, Admin and Supermod do, I only recommend. Also the two topics you complained about didn't come from politics section. So I felt I should let the Admin or Supermod respond.

That said, the home page serves to give coverage to current topics on all the sections up for discussion. And in a public forum like this, every issue is worth discussing. Some might look ridiculous and silly to you and I, but to many others, they are the most interesting topics. If you have noticed, the forum thrives to give every section a coverage on the home page. If you don't like a particular topic, just ignore it and click on the ones you find interesting. I can bet you, some find those threads you consider silly interesting, if you doubt me, check how many people have viewed them and the number of responses they have received.

It just the way life is, one man's meat is another man's poison. That is why you must have varieties of meal to satisfy various people.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints Here by OAM4J: 11:30pm On Nov 12, 2011
^OK. Will look at it and recommend. Although I saw the video on the internet some months ago, and it says it happened in Ghana and not Nigeria.

couldn't be more feminine in appearance but i suspect a tad more testosterone. Still to grow the facial hair or like football though.
Could have bet u have more jeans trousers and short pants in your wardrobe than skirts and iro. cheesy You can still get to like football, but do you roll more with guys than ladies?

What part is not true? So you are a tomboy? cheesy
PoliticsRe: Why Do Ladies Shy Away From Politics & Political Discussions? by OAM4J(op): 10:18pm On Nov 12, 2011
PStylish:
@OP,All
I think its genetic. Its just in their make up.I read an article sometime back on women and

testosterone levels.Testosterone is the male hormone. All women are entitled to at least 10%

of this male hormone (testosterone) by right.
However, for some reason I(we) cant explain some women (a good number) have higher levels -

15,20,25% etc.
This explains the Tomboy syndrome. You find these kind of women getting interested in

masculine affairs more often than not. They are the ones who always want to be with the guys

without fear of being laid.Check out their other masculine interests below:

1. They are interested in politics and political discussions. They will go any length to

contest and win an election including sacrificing their marriage and family life.

2. They enjoy football and are passionate about it. They are the 3,4 or 5 ladies in the midst

of 100 guys or so watching an EPL match in a viewing centre.

3. They enjoy playing such brain-tasking games as Chess, Scrabble,Monopoly e.t.c as against

Snake & Ladder, Ludo and the like which majority of ladies enjoy playing.

4. They prefer Movie Magic, MNET Movies e.t.c to Africa Magic

5. You find them in the armed forces, police and other paramilitary outfits.

6. They study male dominated courses like engineering, architecture, estate management, etc.

7. Medically, they have been observed to produce more male than female children. Most end up

with only 1 daughter or none irrespective of the number of children they bear.

8. Physically, they grow beards and moustache like guys.

9. They are found on online forums such as this. The truth is most of the ladies on this forum

are tomboys. An average home based Nigerian lady doesnt have any business coming to an online

forum. To discuss what? with whom? They'd rather hang out with fellow ladies and

discuss(gossip) their issues or watch Africa Magic rather than stay put reading on a PC and

typing responses. Most of the ladies and even guys I have met dont fancy NL like you foreign

ones thats if they have ever heard of it. The reason Nigerians in diaspora like and flock to

this forum is that your immediate environment is hostile and there is absence of

neighbourhoodliness which this forum provides for you guys. Most home based guys on NL like

myself came here for runs(business) and then got interested in the topics on the

frontpage.Infact, the person that told me about this forum is not a Nairalander. Most of the

guys who read and contribute to threads on this forum are not home based and the sex ratio of

this forum is say 7:1 in favour of guys with most of the ladies being foreign based.

Hence, leave the normal ladies with normal testosterone levels alone to mind all their

feminine things/affairs - things that are in tandem with their nature and build up as God

created them.
Whao! What an analysis. Over to you ladies!

Am not bullying no one. I think your hatred for Buhari and the reasons are obvious to many Nairalanders who frequent this section as much as Alj Harem.

Well I might be wrong. So indulge us and tell us something new.

BTW, you of all people should know how to separate my personal posting from moderator's job.
