Ilemichael: Good morning everyone. I would go straigt to the point. I just learnt that my dad bought shares for his children before he died. I don't know how many unit but i know it's a zenith bank stock. My question now is assuming he had bought this in 2005 and the shares was worth let say #50,000, estimating how much do you think will be the return if i'm to retrieve it and how do i go about claiming this stock?.
Thanks in anticipation. N14.99 is the current value of Zenith . Multiply that by the amount of units he bought . To claim that stock, do the following.
1. Get a stock broking account with a stock broker.
2. Get Letter of Administration from a court.
3. Take the LA to the company's registrars for processing
note:- other documentation might be required by the registrar's.. |

ATF/Nafdac DEA/Ndlea ICE/CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION LOL, you forgot the EFCC is under the NPF.The United States Secret Service (USSS) is an American federal law enforcement agency under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Until 2003, the Service was part of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. |

abiodunalasa: United State's FBI is not the same with Nigerian DSS
Since the eventual spate over the recent activities of the Nigerian DSS, I have been on the sideline. With a part of me in support of the arrests, because to be frank, the Judicairy is our one big problem. And then the other part of me not in support of the kangaroo arrest because we cannot correct a wrong doing through a wrong doing. We cannot cure madness with madness, except we want to end up having a republic of madness.
But I do not wish to remain on the sidelines giving recent articles that seeks to justify, at all cost, the activities of our DSS by equating them with United States FBI. Though, this is not to say I am out to swell the ranks of those who are against the arrests, but I am out merely to put a torch of Information upon shades of ignorance.
Without mincing words then, FBI is never and never will be an equivalent of our own DSS/SSS. Why ? The United states have their own DSS/SSS with a photocopy function of our own DSS/SSS. FBI is the United State Federal Police and this is the equivalent of our own Nigerian Police Force NPF.
This means the articles peddled around here meant to justify the DSS arrests by comparing it with that of FBI actually did the opposit. Since the FBI is equal to our own NPF, this means, going by the argument of those in support of the arrests, it is the NPF that ought to have carried out the arrests and not the Presidency controlled DSS.
Now, lets ask some improtant question: Do we think Nigerian Judiciary is shady ? Absolutely. Can we solve this shadiness by shady means ? Of course not. This will make the offended no better than the offenders. More importantly, we are looking for JUSTICE not REVENGE. The FBI is equivalent to our EFCC While DSS is equivalent to the US secrets service. |
Politics › Re: DSS To Arrest 8 More Judges, 7 Still In Custody-daily Trust by OBAGADAFFI: 7:46am On Oct 10, 2016 |
The National Judicial Council (NJC) had earlier recommended the sack of justices Auta, Tsamiya and Umezulike for alleged corrupt activities. But the security chief said that was not enough, adding, “The NJC gave soft landing to the three judges. What happened to the proceeds of crime running into hundreds of millions?”
So the NJC didn't give the DSS green light to carry out the raid. I will be monitoring the trials with keenness. |

If any past president had done a quarter of what PMB is doing at fighting corruption, perhaps Nigeria will have been better.
PMB is the only person with any chance of defeating the cancer of corruption in Nigeria.
And those of you finding one reason or the other to support those who pauperized you through corruption, you should keep quiet when things go south for you. Obasanjo sent people to jail , remember Tafa and co. Your Buhari suddenly become the alpha and omega of Nigeria. |

Is the Act that set up DSS the same as FBI or US Secret Service? Hence, their allocated constitutional role might be different. Lol@ your Lucifer Emotions do win cases in court. Emotions and shouting can't end corruption. If you really know the corruption is more than stealing. If the act settings up the DSS is different from the FBI, why are you then comparing US actions to Nigeria. |

N.B incase you want to fall back on the time of the arrest, i just found it the constituition states you can be arrested at anytime of the day. And braking down their property is also written in the Constitution. I hope the DSS will present those Judges before the court, let the legal fireworks Begin. |

Are you ok now? I wander where you people always cook your facts from. FBI should not be compared to the DSS. FBI should be compared to EFCC US Secret service should be compared to the DSS. awelekiti: I hate it when some informed people pretend to sound cynical. Tell me, does govt house extend to the judge's home? What was wike doing there at the time the operatives wanted to arrest him? Does wike have a skeleton in his cupboard? He should face his core duties and stop encouraging corruption. Everybody knows it's impossible for the operatives to threaten to shoot wike in the government house or when carrying out his legal duties beause they're meant to protect him. What he did is just like a banker caught by the police, trying to invade the banking hall in the mid night, through the security entrance door. If the police shoots the banker, nobody would complain. Because he wants to steal, obviously. The same police annot leave the bank they're meant to secure and head straight to the banker's house to shoot him....impossible. Wike had gone beyond his jurisdiction, period! Wike as the governor is also the CSO of the state. He has every right to know who's wants to Abduct a Judge at 1am. Since he house is a walking distance. An nobody can shoot him, especially in the volatile Niger Delta. |
